Not a fan of Applebees but Ihop is ok for certain times so this combo hybrid was not as bad as I thought. Food and prices were ok and two of the people in the group of 7 ordered steak and it came out cooked at temp we requested and that impressed me. I don't expect that from any chain. Another thing this place has going for it is that they are open later into the night past 8 or 9 when this town seems to roll up sidewalks. Eating options become slim very fast.

While the Menus are not EXACTLY like either Applebees or IHOP (no 6 dollar ihop menu) it's the perfect place to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner at any time you want. They have some options that are only for this fusion restaurant, like the buffalo chicken omelet (worth a try) and a breakfast burger (bring your to go bag with you, your going to need it, it's HUGE). The servers are wonderfully kind, and while the first week was a mess, they have gotten so much better. The Ambience is a nice blend of an IHOP and an Applebees put together. It's a great place to meet for coffee, grab a beer, watch a game with the buds, or have brunch with the family!

Once we were seated it took about 15 minutes before we were waited on but that was because it was so busy. I was told 5:30 is a better time as it's not as crowded. You're served complimentary hot rolls topped with flaky salt and creamery herb butter which were delicious. The food was excellent. Photos posted of everything we ordered. Beautiful view of the Rogue River so I would recommend sitting outside. Great 5 Star Restaurant in Grants Pass that is a delight for visitors or if you're celebrating a special occasion.

We began with a truly amazing cocktail: Smokin' Hibiscus Margarita. It was fantastic!!! My friend ordered the Dungeoness crab entrée. She totally enjoyed her crab but she was unable to cut her broccoli because it was so undercooked and the knife that she had was dull. I suggested she bite the broccolini but it was too tough to even do that. I ordered my very favorite which is their meat loaf. I had the same experience with my broccolini. Oddly both were a pale lime color, which I have never seen before but they were inedible. My greatest disappointment was in the meatloaf which was completely dry because it was overcooked to the point that the outside edges were burned. I should have sent it back but I had fasted all day because I wanted to enjoy it last night with my friend so I was actually too hungry to send it back and wait for a different plate to come out. Recommendation: The chef needs to check the plates before they are released from the kitchen to be brought to the customer. Overcooked, burnt meatloaf with undercooked vegetables is unacceptable. Despite this, I gave three stars because of the superb cocktails, my friend's Dungeness crab, and all the prior times when this past summer when the food was so delicious.

Stumbled upon this spot while wandering around after checking into the hotel next door…read more We grabbed a beer from the bar and settled onto one of the patios to take in the scenery. Ended up striking up a conversation with one of the employees, Blade, who was fantastic. We mentioned how much we admired the potted floral arrangements lining the patio, every detail felt so intentional and looked absolutely beautiful. Blade gave credit to one of the owners, Elvie Cartwright. Well Elvie, if you see this: you have an incredible green thumb and an artist's eye for beauty. Kudos. And excellent call on hiring wonderful staff like Blade.

Our seating was in the bar downstairs which was very busy and noisy which was ok for 2 of us unfortunately 2 of our party were deaf and that was an issue for visiting. Our dinners: clam linguine, small clams in butter wine sauce was good, lots of broth and noodles could have had more clams. Dinner salads were great, big, crisp and fresh. Hubby had the meatballs with whipped potatoes, not a big meal but very tasty. I often buy ribeye steaks at the Cartwright's market and they are wonderful. Cartwright's owns Taprock restaurant so I figured that's the steak they'd serve but no it was thin and tough like a top round steak, it was cooked med rare that I ordered. It wasn't cheap, won't order again. Margaritas were very good. Service was excellent and there was lots of hired help in all areas. Our waitress was attentive, personable and we enjoyed her service.
