TIRADITO DE CORVINA Y PULPO AL LIMON
    Nicole C.

The restaurant looks nice from the inside, the servers are very nice and attentive. The food was okay, we ordered the tiradito de corvina y pulpo al limon, honestly it was the star of the night. The octopus specially tasted so good. 10/10 Now for our mains, I ordered the rissotto à la huancaina con lomo, the risotto was too salty and overcooked. The meat was good, very flavorful. 6/10 My partner ordered the Fettucine al pesto con lomo, the fettucine was lacking some sauce, the meat was cooked good though. 0 complains about the meats but yeah pasta was a little dry. 7/10 And our friend ordered a bowl which you can't really go wrong with that. The cocktails were very good and our server was lovely. We had higher expectations. Maybe it was an off day.

The food was very fresh and excellent especially the fish from the regular menu. The lunch specials use farmed fish and it includes a chicca drink. The drink was very sweet. The service was super slow. Great place. I will try again for dinner.

I had to come back since I'm in town for a few days, and once again, the food was delicious. The bar also has TVs if you're looking to catch a game. Many of the staff members provided excellent service, and I'd love to give a special shoutout to Mateo. He was incredibly friendly and checked on us while bringing out our dishes, which really enhanced the experience. We ordered the ceviche and seafood rice again, and both were just as good as the first time. The pesto pasta was perfectly creamy, the steak was incredibly tender, and the Jalea was a generous portion served with tartar sauce. The cocktails were enjoyable as well. Even though the restaurant was a bit busy. there were plenty of seats still available and we were seated quickly. I love that the space is bright and airy and how consistently good everything on their menu is. This is easily becoming my new favorite place, and I'll definitely be back!

So, I've since been back many, many times. I've dined in and have had Embarcadero 41 delivered. The lomo is hard to beat. I tried a lobster special once and it was on point. Most recently I had parihuela (fried fish) and it was soft and tasty. The ceviche is unbeatable and for the Pisco Sour I recommend getting the large! It's so good! Every time I've dined in, the service has been attentive. The last time I was there, I needed more time to order and our server was accommodating. The ambiance and decor inside are modern and yet welcoming. There's a long mirror wall along one wall and the bar is inviting as well. I will be back yet again for more soon!

Love Peruvian food and both of my favorite places in Boca closed so when friends suggested Embarcadero 41 I was excited to try it. Our friends and the reviews are on point. We had a very nice dinner here. I made a reservation for 4 on open table. They asked for a credit card to hold the reservation and noted that if it was canceled less than 24 hours before there would be a $15 per person charge. I've never seen a window like that. It struck me as a little off. I understand if you don't cancel and don't show up, but a lot can happen in 24 hours especially if the reservation is for a Monday night. Located in the Plaza on Glades and Boca Rio it's right in between Publix and Marshall's. It's a big shopping center with plenty of parking. Truly authentic Peruvian food. The Parihuela a seafood soup was amazing. This is a seafood based broth soup with a generous amount of Scallops, Shrimp, Sqiud and Mussles. The risottos looked very good too. Start your meal with a Pisco Sour and you won't be sorry. Service was great. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.

We both thought that the food here was awesome: but let's start at the very beginning! First we made a reservation for lunchtime, and a credit card was requested. This had us a bit nervous because we both live far away and the drive there- etc. but in the end we made it so all Good. There were open tables at lunch time, so I feel that asking for a cc was a bit extra, maybe an opportunity for improvement. Well we arrived and the place is located on a big plaza with sufficient parking on both sides, no problems there: right next to the Turnpike! Which made it great for a meet up for old friends who live in Jupiter and Broward: this worked. It is a large locale with tables both inside and a large outside terrace that was also Very welcoming. We chose the inside area. The decor is upscale and the noise level is low: great for all our conversations. There is background music so the lunch "scene" is very smooth and nicely suave. Our waiter was always attentive and handy and ready to take our order and suggest many of the dishes in the menu. They were so gracious they even sang happy birthday to me when they found out I was celebrating! Anyway we decided to share appetizer and entree - wanted to make it to the cake- so for starters we shared a "Conchitas à la Parmesana". (Coquille sort-of st jaques with a twist) (for the purist) as these had some bechamel sauce and some mozzarella in addition to the customary parmesan cheese. They were delicious! But not quite the "traditional" way we were expecting. Still: we licked our fingers and enjoyed For the main course we shared a "lomito saltado con tallarines en salsa huancaina". Let me say here that I had my doubts. Spaghetti in huancaina sauce? Who would have thought they would be so delicious! The sauce is a cheese mix with the yellow Peruvian aji- but it was not "hot", just flavorful and with a delicious aroma. The chunks of meat of the "lomito" we cooked to perfection, and the combination was just SO GOOD! Oh and the portion size was Abundant so we were glad we shared as we wanted to Make it to dessert So ... there is a dessert menu! So many choices... but I was determined and chose the chocolate cake. Peruvian chocolate cake is something else. I crave it. It has some dulce de leche in the middle and creamy hot fudge flowing from the top... yummmmm We were already full before the cake... but how could we not devour it! It was scrumptious! Anyway... it is already 6 pm, as I write this review- I am still full- and here I am wishing for more chocolate cake... or more of the spaghetti with the huancaina sauce... or both! We are definitely going back for more. Enjoy!

Embarcadero 41 aims to provide the best of Peruvian, Japanese and seafood restaurants. So if you are someone who enjoys listening to the greatest hits albums, then this is for you, but if you like to listen to specific tracks that are only found on specific albums, then you may want to look for that specialty store. But if not, and if you like seafood, this is a great place to go. The setting is nice, the ambiance is casual but private, and the food is very good. I tried the ceviche sampler and all 3 had unique flavors and were very delicious indeed. If I get a chance, I will definitely go back for the sushi and the seafood to make sure I have tried every aspect of the menu.

Very pretty restaurant with a lovely outdoor eating area. Friendly service. And the food is absolutely fantastic. We had ceviche mixto, which was really flavorful and yummy. But spicy! We ordered medium spice and it was pretty spicy. Had the octopus, also delicious. Perfectly cooked. We had a sushi roll...I honestly don't know which one we ordered but it was excellent. Had lomo saltado which was great. Had some kind of spiral filled cookie thing for dessert...yummmm. Will definitely be coming back here.

This is our favorite place in Boca for Peruvian food. always delicious and the service never disappoints. We went in the afternoon and had to sit outside since it was full inside. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot (especially for May), and there were no fans or cooling options. We were sweating the whole time, which really affected the experience. Also, for the quality of the restaurant and the price point (around $45 for fried fish), the outdoor furniture could use an upgrade. The table and chairs felt unstable. this is the second time we've had a wobbly table outside, and the server had to fix it by stuffing napkins under the legs. It's a small detail but makes a big difference in comfort. We'll still be back for the food, but hope the outdoor setup gets some attention soon.

CEVICHE CARRETILLERO DE CORVINA Y PULPO

Food was amazing! You can taste the freshness of the fish and the quality of the ingredients. Flavors are on point. Regarding service... we were waiting for a while for our waitress to come to our table however when the manager noticed, he approached us and helped us right away. After that bump, service really improved.

Unfortunately the app doesn't allow me to reply to my previous review, but here it is. It's disappointing to see that instead of addressing the concerns raised, you chose to debate the client's experience. Customer feedback should be taken as an opportunity to improve, not to be contradicted. Attached is the reservation confirmation clearly showing the booking was for 12 people from the beginning, not 8 as stated in your response. That information is simply incorrect. Additionally, the cake fee policy was NOT communicated beforehand. Had it been disclosed, we would have made an informed decision. Transparency is key in hospitality, especially when additional charges are involved. The issue was never about timing or table turnover--it was about the overall experience: the service, the communication, and how the situation was handled. Unfortunately, your response only reinforces the original concerns rather than resolving them. I hope this helps clarify things moving forward.

As we approached the hidden entrance tucked under a portico, I noticed it was right next to a Jersey Mikes entrance which gave me pause for a second. After speaking with our lovely waitress, we ordered and the food was delivered in courses which was nice for a change. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared and delicious. It turns out the single person in the kitchen is the owner. He hand prepares every dish and accompaniment. Great food, great service and the staff were all very pleasant. Before I talk about the food I want to say that the young lady that was the bartender and server was so friendly and gave great suggestions. The restaurant is small, however it is beautiful inside and does offer outdoor seating as well. Now for the food. They bring out fresh hot rolls with a small plate of cheese pesto and balsamic drizzle. Outstanding!!!!! We came to find out the owner who is the chef, his wife is a pastry chef and makes the bread and desserts. To start we had the Spanish chargrilled octopus. I know I have said this before about other restaurants, but I can truly say hands-down. This was the freshest, most tender, and one of the most flavorful grilled octopus that we have had. It came with a mixture of capers, potatoes, and vegetables in an amazing sauce. Truly fantastic. For dinner, my wife had the blackened yellowtail snapper in curry sauce, and I had the shellfish pan roast. Both were one of a kind dishes. We have never had such great flavor and seafood. Not to mention the amount of food that they put out and the presentation is worthy of awards. My wife's blacked snapper was cooked perfectly had a light blackened coating, and the curry sauce was tremendous. My shellfish were super fresh. Again cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sauce they were in was amazing. For dessert, we tried their homemade Keylime pie, and this too was top-notch and made fresh. We are planning our next trip to this restaurant and if you actually want a true fine, dining seafood experience you have to try this spot. I'm going to say it is priced accordingly for the true quality of food, the amount you are served and the presentation. If you are looking for a fried shrimp basket or fish and chips, this is not the type of restaurant for you. This is upscale seafood, and a true upscale seafood experience. You might want to consider making reservations as they do get busy and as I mentioned earlier, it is a small restaurant.

It's dark, modern, upscale, and romantic, with a large bar and lounge featuring live jazz music, as well as a separate dining area. We ended up sitting in the lounge and loved the atmosphere. Our server, Adrianna, was extremely friendly and attentive. We started with drinks. We ordered the Private Plane, which comes with a cute little paper airplane and a large square ice cube, and a vodka martini. Both were excellent and strong, which I personally prefer! We decided to do several appetizers instead of entrées and ordered the lobster tacos, Wagyu dumplings, and burrata and tomato salad. Everything was excellent with great portions and tons of flavor. The lobster tacos were outstanding and probably my favorite lobster tacos I've ever had. Then came dessert. We couldn't decide between the Bananas Foster and the brownie with ice cream. Adrianna told us she had an idea and would take care of it. She came back with both desserts on the house! We were completely surprised. They were both so good that I honestly couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I'm glad we got to try both! The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was another nice touch. What really stood out was how special they made us feel. It was just an ordinary Saturday date night for us, but from the champagne when we arrived to the service and surprise desserts, they turned it into something memorable. Had the crab Rangoon dip, plantain crusted corvina (how can you not have corvina at a restaurant named Corvina!!), and the crab linguini fra diavolo, which I didn't think was too spicy. The dinner was absolutely delicious and the whole experience was top notch. Ended the night with a delicious chocolate ice cream sundae and the ice cream was Lilly's- which I believe is a local creamery. Great to support local businesses. Now I know why this place has that busy happy hour!

Small but very nice wine list. Started with the Kamikaze Roll, Tempura shrimp, avocado, spicy tuna, dynamite sauce, crispy wonton, very good. Also the Goat Cheese Bibb Salad, Sherry Vinaigrette, Savory Almond Granola, and Hot Honey. Just fair. For mains, my wife loves crab cakes. so she tried their version, just ok. I opted for the Moqueca, Lobster Tail, Prawns, Mussels, and Fresh Catch in a Tomato Sofrito Broth. It is a Brazilian bouillabaisse which was very good.

Our last experience at City Fish was so poor that last night was our first return visit in several…read moreyears. Good news, bad news. Good news: All our dishes were well prepared and the service was fine. I loved the Seafood Newburgh Au Gratin. Bad news. We were seated by the window overlooking the lake. Tables close together. My chair was touching the chair of the table next to us. Result: the ambience is LOUD. When the restaurant is full the noise level borders on painful. This is a long standing problem at City Fish. For me this is a deal breaker. Bottom Line: We will only return when weather permits outside dining.

I had told them that this was a special occasion and we wanted a seat by the water. We had the most delightful table right next to the railing. Our waiter, Timothy, was exceptionally attentive to our every need. He gave great explanations of the food, told us a few of his favorites, cleaned up a plate that dropped, changed an order that someone didn't care for and all the while he did it with a smile - a genuine smile. We were treated like royalty for this dining experience. We were never rushed and there was a lot of time in between the drinks/bread, soup, dinner and then dessert. Someone at the table had the New England clam chowder - he loved it. It looked good. Another thought it might be too salty. I ordered the whole rainbow trout almondine. OMG it was the largest portion of fish I've ever seen presented to me. It came with a huge sweet potato and green beans. Someone else ordered the sword fish and said it was very good and finally someone ordered the pecan crusted salmon which she said was delicious. We sampled three of the desserts - the Key Lime pie is the winner! The prices here are the same as any other nice restaurant. I had always heard they were high -- nope - they're the same as anywhere else you'd eat - totally fair! I'll be back - I doubt I'll wait another year! Sorry, I forgot to get a pic of my dinner - - it was huge and gorgeous.

SOLD! I gathered my husband and son and headed off for a new experience. First off the atmosphere is very nice and peaceful. We love the colorful buildings and the views. We entered and met Sandy, the nicest yet down to earth hostess. She greeted us and walked us to tables toward the back which would accompany 3 people. This was away from the Steel Drums which was the main reason we were visiting the establishment. I mentioned I had called previously to make sure the steel drums were definitely playing tonight and we really wanted to be seated closer to watch and hear the entertainment. All the seats close to where he was were 2 top tables or the bar but my son is 12- so that was a "no." She then said we could sit at 2 tables but we couldn't move the chairs. We said that was GREAT as it was close to the music and we didn't mind sitting in a "line" as that's kinda like sitting at the bar. We were very pleased and had the nicest server who was very attentive and helpful. I think the manager was a little confused as to why Sandy sat our family like that but what she did was provide excellent customer service and helped our family have a peaceful relaxing evening. And, for that - Sandy is the best and say "Hi" to her next time you go there. She will do her best to assist you. We will be back to the Nauti-Dawg. The food was really good and very filling. Customer service was outstanding. And, the atmosphere is very relaxing. 5 stars from our family!
