Margherita pizza
Abbie B.

We had a reservation for the patio, but when we arrived the hostess told us she "didn't see" our reservation and said there were no more tables outside -- unless we wanted to wait 30 minutes. Oddly enough, there were plenty of open picnic tables, which they did end up seating us at one. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for any of that. The pizza tasted frozen and just wasn't good. Overall, pretty disappointing experience and wouldn't recommend.

Atmosphere was great! Beer was great! Wings were good. Service mid. Pizza was terrible! We should have listened to the reviews and stuck with the beer and apps!

A beer and a water = $18

As someone who frequently travels to Manhatten and Beverly Hills ... I am pretty shocked when a restaurant on Cape Cod matches the price of those places. Especially one where the food is subpar and the service is snooty. To charge $13 for a single 16 oz. draft beer and $4 for a soda water is insanity, even in these days of crazy inflation. Think about that ... $20 used to buy you a meal at a restaurant ... at Ember, that buys you a beer and a water. As someone who has 3 beers when I go out, it would cost me half a hundred dollars just to get a buzz. We also had the pizza, which is good if you are drunk but is no better than a frozen pizza from the supermarket when sober. We heard so many people complain about the quality of the food and how long the food takes to arrive, based on reviews, we are not alone. Yhe service here too is ice cold. Lots of 20-somethings who are clearly counting down the clock until their shift ends. Between the customers and the staff, it seems nobody wants to be here. Overall, I'd totally skip this place. If you are a 20 year old who wants to get their drink on ... the prices are lower and draft selection is better at the beergarden in town. For food, Brax Landing is better. I hate to be critical but the cost value proposition is way off here and 90% of people leave annoyed and regretful. Also the 4% credit card fee ... tacky.

I was in Harwich at Monomoy High School for my Niéce's HS Graduation, it was very long and I'm so proud of her for her Achievements....so we were all Hungry we ended up at Ember Coal Fire Pizza in Harwich, it's a great Local Pizza place, trust me it won't disappoint, we got Mozzarella Sticks which were HUGE, some Sweet and Spicy Boneless Wings...sorry no Pictures of the Wings....but they were Fantastic, same with the Mozzarella Sticks too, I also got a BIG Wedge Salad which was Amazing, then last but not least, Buffalo Chicken Pizza with Buffalo Sauce as the Base.....not Red Sauce, everything was delicious and worth the time and wait, definitely like that Place to Dinner

Needs more bartenders and plastic cups. Cool place in the summer though! Pizza by the slice late night would be nice.

If you want food, you have to time it right. We got there on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm, knowing that they closed at 2. Meals were not available at that time, nor were cocktails. The only food available was snacks and pastries in a display on the counter, and most of these were already gone as well. Wine was still available in 3oz. and 5oz. pours, and we found a couple that we really enjoyed. We received fantastic service at the counter, and we were checked on several times while we were seated (we were lucky enough to get the plush chairs by the window). Their full wine list is extensive and interesting. Depending on from what direction you approach, navigation might give you a very scenic route along the circular "road." Parking is spread out in that area, and one-way arrows exist, but not enough of them.

The meal was almost perfect--nearly all of the courses were introduced expertly and executed with haute precision. The prix fixe menu is offered on weekends, and it looked, as you can see, exciting. My favorite courses were the caviar and dessert. The white asparagus course was inspired and delicious, though it needed another minute or two to achieve a perfect texture. The sous vide veal breast was a miss. The ratio of meat to fat skewed too heavily toward fat. The diners I observed around me at the bar all left fat on their plates. That said, the sauce and spinach accompaniments were delicious. The bread, optional caviar, and dessert courses were brilliant. The wine pairings fell a bit flat, I thought--they were all good, but none compelled me to ask for more or to see the labels for later purchase. I loved watching the culinary theater from the bar seating. It was a bit more hectic than I recall from my last visit, but it was clear that the staff were working hard and collaborating effectively. A talented local artist's work on the walls here could definitely elevate the ambiance.

For an appetizer, we shared the sweet potato tempura stuffed with scallop and crab. It was light, flavorful, and beautifully prepared--an excellent start to the meal. For our entrées, the swordfish was wonderfully fresh and packed with flavor. While the accompanying potatoes were a bit dry and under-seasoned, the fish itself was outstanding. The seared tuna was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful crust and tender center, and the noodles complemented it perfectly. Fin has the charm of a historic home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bar is cozy and welcoming, though on the smaller side, so arriving early is a good idea. We were seated upstairs at a corner table, which provided plenty of privacy and made for a wonderfully romantic dining experience in a quaint and intimate setting. Our waitress seemed a little reserved at first but quickly warmed up and became attentive and engaging throughout the evening. Dinner for two, including tip, came in just under $200, putting it on the higher end of the price range, but the quality of the food, cocktails, and atmosphere made it well worth it. We will be back to try the oyster stew.

We had a reservation for 2 and were quickly escorted to a comfortable table. Lucas was our server and he got us situated with some beverages first, we had the bad bunny, which we had tried before and was excellent and a new raspberry gin martini on the cocktail list which was so tasty the second round we got two of those. For appetizers we had the oysters which were shucked beautifully and were served with a wonderful mignonette, and beef chicharrones which were light and delicious. We had another slightly heartier round of appetizers, the lamb rotolini and stuffed squash blossoms, both of which were also scrumptious. For entrees we had the local striped bass and jerk pork shank. The bass was cooked perfectly and the caponata served with it complemented the fish very well. Lucas also recommended a Chardonnay that paired with the bass wonderfully. The pork shank really stole the show though first of all it was huge, and it was also so tender. The curry mayo served with it I want to use as a condiment for everything for the rest of my life. For dessert we had the blueberry vacherine. The lemon and blueberry in it had a wonderful blend of tart and sweet, and was very light and easy to eat after our large meals. Everything also arrived in a very reasonable amount of time even though the restaurant was completely full. We had a lovely time and are so happy they are open again after their kitchen remodel. Would highly recommend the pheasant to anyone visiting the area and locals alike!
