I came here for the first time right after the first shut down due to COVID and I loved the salon. It was so nice, clean and super open inside. I was so sad to hear all salons had to close once again but now they're open again with nails services done outside. This was my second time going there and I was just as pleased as the first. I wanted to take advantage of being unemployed for the moment lol and decided I'm going to get a full set of nails. I made my appointment on Thursday, and came in on Saturday. The place is super clean, and really nice and comfy and we'll decorated. I was given a few books to look at for colors and decided on a pink gel over acrylic. Once I sat down my tech (didn't catch her name) and I chatted a little as she got to work. She was super quick but really detailed, and I could tell she knew what we was doing. An hour later and I had a super cute set! (I like more simple lol). The full set with gel color was $57 plus tip but I totally think it's worth it, when you take into account the location, the actual site, the absolutely lovely techs, and the quality of work done. Felt totally safe and secure with barriers and spacing, so if you need any nail help I definitely recommend this place! read more

Such a great place! I went with a friend and we purchased the groupon offer for mani & pedi. The owners performed our nail services and were extremely professional and friendly. It was nice to be offered tea or coffee as many other nail shops just want to get you in and out. The decor was pretty and comfortable. The hairstylist working seemed happy to be there and was friendly assisting with calls that were coming in for appointments. My pedicure has lasted more than 3 weeks! Love love loveeee my nails! This is the cutest place! A little gem in old town Pasadena. My nail girl was very attentive to my needs, I didn't feel rushed, had a nice relaxing time, even got coffee while I was sitting comfortably getting pampered. This is a fantastic addition to Pasadena and I couldn't have been happier with my experience!! The place was gorgeous and clean and well organized. I walked in and they knew who I was with and I was seated right away. It was a hot day and I was offered champagne and water right away and my stylist was right behind them. Had a wonderful shampoo and then had a fast but amazing style from my stylist and she managed to turn my flat hair to a bouncing curly masterpiece in under 45min. Everything was clean, indulgent and effective. Btw they are better priced than any blo-out lounge nearby and they have a well versed and talented staff to back them up! Very satisfied on my first visit. My curls are still holding eight hours later and I'll def be back. So happy! read more

Manicure for men: Guys' nails are different in terms of the service requested and it is difficult to find a nail saloon that provides a good service. Tony was extremely helpful, listened to my specific requests asked multiple times to make sure what he is doing is inline with what I want. Exceptional client service. I was very happy with the service first time when I got mani and went back for a mani/ pedi combo and it was as great. The salon is very clean, well maintained, they are not rushing to be done with the client asap as many other places around do to just fit 3 people in an hour. I've had previous bad experiences with nail salons due to my condition of having one hand, until I found emblush a year ago. My first experience was with Tony which was pretty great service, very friendly guy & understanding of me. I seriously had thought I found my go to salon. Until my last visit this week. I had booked up an appointment for my cousin & I to get our nails done for my brothers graduation. I specifically booked for tony said I really loved the type of service he offered. I got to the salon & was greeted pretty welcoming, I confirmed our appointments with the lady at the front & even said hi to tony. After confirming they had us take a seat. Everything was going smooth until I saw tony walk out the door & practically left. which was pretty off considering I had appointments with him. I then had the lady at the front approach us asking what type of nails I was getting so I showed her a picture & my cousin showed her a picture of hers as well & then proceeded to say that I had originally booked a different type of service and therefore the pictures we were showing were a whole different kind of service. I had previously known Tony was 1 of 2 who knew how to do acrylics & gel, that is why I have always booked my appointments with him. I proceeded to then tell her my reasoning and afterwards said tony wasn't available because he had to leave. At this moment I had understood where I probably did wrong, which was booking the wrong service. But that still didn't justify Tony just leaving, no notice or even a heads up about him not being able to do the nail service. I had to find out from someone else. Which made it even worse is another lady who worked there still made it seem like it was entirely my fault but the person who I originally had booked my appointment with... literally walked out? On there website it states that if I were to have canceled less than 24hrs before my appointment, I would've been charged 50% of what the service is worth. What about my nail technician leaving as soon as I get there? What if roles were reversed? I'm not the type of person to want conflict, if my nail design was doable in acrylics and gel & the one person who couldn't do acrylics wasn't there, I could've taken gel. I would've fully cooperated. But to come at my cousin & I in a defensive manner, it's not the right way to go. At the end of the day I was happy with my design & it's literally what I wanted. My cousin decided to not get her nails done because of how rude she was talked to. If I didn't have an event to attend the next day after my appointment I would've honestly chose to not get anything as well. But I'm confident enough to say I won't be coming back. read more
