First time here and everything was amazing. I ordered the fried chicken dish with poblano mashed potatoes and it was delicious! The poblanos made the potatoes taste so unique. It was topped with fried spinach which added a wonderful crunch to the entire dish. The customer service was perfect and everyone was so sweet. The food is reasonably/higher priced. Green enchilada sauce was good, cheese was horrible. Mole enchiladas with chicken were not good. Enchiladas do not come with rice or beans for $20+. My husband and I got here at 12. First customers there. They have a breakfast menu but at noon? Who's going to get breakfast? Anyways, we got the menu. They have a dozen oysters for $35 my husband doesn't like oysters as much as I do. We asked if we could get 1/2 a dozen, they said we could not since they could not ring it up as half, so I didn't get them. Then my husband order their shrimp tacos and a Cesar salad on the side. The salad came last after he reminded them about it but no fork . He had to get up from his seat to get a salt shaker, 2 spoons, a fork, napkins and it just kept on going. I went to the restroom keep in mind they had just opened, they had no seat covers on all three toilets and trash in all of them!! I told the waitress and she said ok we will have that taken care of. When we were leaving I went to the restroom again and nothing happened. Come on!!! Expensive food, service was beyond poor! Only four people having lunch and that time and service was beyond horrible. Don't waste your time and money. It's expensive and not worth it. read more

The inside of this place is really nice from the seating to the bathrooms. The service is great, and the food was delicious. We met the owner and chef and he has worked in popular restaurants in Downtown LA and West Hollywood, so the cook on the the food is excellent. I had the beef short rib and my husband had the steak. My only complaint was my vegetables were a bit too salty, and the aioli served with the yucca fries too mayonaisy. Chips and salsa would be a nice touch but not offered. read more

My colleagues and I had a retirement party for our friends at this place, on a Friday around 4 pm. This is su ch a weird place of Mexican food, pasta, sushi, and seafood. The music was SO LOUD we couldn't hear each other. There were only 1-2 other tables with customers even when we left around 6:30 pm. The food is extremely overpriced. My tacos were so spicy I could not eat. The waitress didn't warm me when I ordered. At the end, they overcharged me for my food. On the menu tacos are listed for $20. They charged me $25. I didn't say anything because I was with several people and felt embarrassed. They didn't bring utensils to our table. I literally got up and took utensils from another table. They wouldn't even bring chips or salsa for us. We had to ask for it. There was one chips and salsa on each end of the table and we were a group of about 15 people coming at different times. When I asked for chips the waitress didn't bring salsa with it. I wouldn't recommend this place at all and I wouldn't go again. Save your money and go to other Mexican restaurants in the area su ch as Casa Torres or El Tarasca. read more

I'm normally not one to rave about chicken but the tenderness and flavors of these tacos are out of this world. The sushi roll is fresh delicious and creative the crispy onions that they fry in house are incredible I would lick the plate clean if I could. The menu was quite diverse in their offerings serving gourmet and upscale food. I have food allergies and the waitress was very mindful with her recommendations. She shared what was gluten-free on the menu and was happy to customize my meal to meet my needs. I ordered the mole stuffed with vegetables and rice and beans on the side. The chef came over to our table and shared that he makes the mole from scratch and takes him about 8 hours to make. My partner enjoyed his food. The only drawback is that they're in the back of the Vons shopping center in a plaza where a number of restaurants have gone out of business; hopefully it won't happen to them!
