Seinfeld My insurance made a reservation for me two days before I started at this location. I was told there were no cars, but they'd call me in an hour. I went back home. I'd taken off work and got a ride to go there. Not cool. 3.5 hours later, I called them. Nope, no car and none in the pipeline. The person spoke with impatience and seemed incredulous that I'd called, even though I told him they promised to call me. If shrugs were audible, I'd have heard his. They'd call me if/when one showed up. When prompted, he said I could try other locations. No suggestions as they would all be out of cars in the area. Egads. I called the one up Havana and got a very helpful guy who told me more in two minutes than I'd learned from two people here. No cars, but he promised to call me back at 5pm either way. He did, but I learned later he actually works at this location. Staffing again. I got a car the next day up the street, but both locations suffer from a lack of staff and of cars. I heard several people being told that the complimentary ride Enterprise promises simply wasn't possible. I watched one poor guy try to run his entire location alone on two consecutive days. He deserves an award and a raise. When I dropped the car off, I saw a full waiting room, but he--same guy on his own again--offered to take the keys and leave it at that. Currently, I would avoid Enterprise locations in the Metro until they stock up on vehicles and staff. This is not my experience in other cities. People often skip past one-star reviews, but I want people to see this. Two stars. read more

This office impressed me after the last incidents at the last two previous offices. They were very courteous and even though I picked a car that wasn't ready they made sure to get it rent ready fast. Rental car got hit by a gate that blew open in the wind... returned the car with small damage. Agent pulled out a measuring device and said the damage was small enough I probably wasn't going to be charged for it. He said the damage unit would make the final call. I was of course charged. Called the damage u to and they told me the location makes the call on damage. Don't waste my time by lying to me. Why bother even measuring it or having a measurement tool at all if it's meaningless? Why lie to me someone else is going to make the call? Best of all they sent it to my insurance before discussing with me so even though the damage is too small for my insurance to cover my rates are now going to go up! Miserable and unacceptable experience. Companies performance was offensive, unprofessional, disrespectful, discourteous and unacceptable! I will never rent from Enterprise again! I had to cancel my activities and failed to complete my obligations for a day and a half and had three different vehicles from Enterprise in four days. The first vehicle died in my garage, wouldn't start, had to be jump started and the push button start functioned poorly. On the second vehicle, the automatic transmission didn't shift automatically, had to be shifted manually and the push button start functioned poorly. The third vehicle was okay. Enterprise falsely accused me of smoking in all three vehicles and said they were doing me a favor by not charging me to detail all three vehicles. OUTRAGEOUS AND UNACCEPABLE!!! read more

I had a rental from 1898 Havana location. There was a hail Storm. I parked the rental and my 2018 Ford Escape under a tree when the advisory came out. My Escape was more exposed than the rental. My Escape had 3 hail dents. I looked at the rental and did not see any dents. At 6 pm that evening, I got a call from Enterprise, telling me there was a bunch of hail damage. I drop the rental off at the body shop at 11 AM. There was bad weather in the around throughout the afternoon. I feel the Enterprise office is scamming me. Below is a copy of the response I just sent to Enterprise re the false damage claim filed against me by this location. Note - yelp does not allow images, take a look at my google review for that ;) "There was no damage to this car while it was in my possession. This damage report is an error and is the result of careless documentation done at the time of pick up on Tuesday, April 28 at 12:45 pm by your team at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch located at 1898 South Havana Street, Aurora, CO 80012. I will repeat this again - the fact is that I saw the damage when I picked up the car - I pointed it out to the representative and I watched her, half-heartedly, take photos on the tablet she used to process and document the pick up. My daughter was with me at pick-up and she saw the damage. My friend, who I saw within 40 minutes of picking up the car, also saw the damage. Further, I took a photo of the car at pick-up myself clearly showing that this location rented a damaged car to me. My photo (attached with a timestamp) shows scratches on the drivers side of the car as well as a large piece of broken trim. The driver's side of the car was clearly already damaged when the car was rented to me. I am asking again - per my email sent to ------- on Friday, March 31, at 2:27 pm - for the photos that were taken by the Enterprise representative at the time of pick up and for any subsequent photos that were taken after I returned the car. She did not respond to my request, and unfortunately, that is in alignment with the level of service I received from everyone at this location. It is important to note that my entire experience with all of the representatives at this location was poor. It was nowhere near the level of service I have come to expect with Enterprise, I have rented from Enterprise for personal and work travel more than a dozen times in the past few years. I always choose Enterprise because the service is excellent. However, at this location, the folks at the counter were rude, the representative who conducted my pick-up was at best, lackadaisical - she appeared bored and was short with me, she slumped on a chair behind a desk for most of our interaction, and she acted as though she wanted to be anywhere else, she reluctantly walked out to the car with me to do the inspection with the air of someone who just does not care about her job - she did a half-ass job checking me out at pick up compared to the experience I have had every other time I have rented a car from Enterprise. Her behavior was concerning enough to me that I did take my own photo of the damage (again, attached) because I did not trust her to thoroughly document the damage we both saw and talked about. Again, this is never something I have felt the need to do at any other Enterprise in the past. Additionally, the interior of the car was not clean and the gas tank was empty. When I arrived to return the car no one at the counter even acknowledged me. I returned the keys, and then had to rush to get an Uber to get to the airport, when the representative called my cell and threatened to turn this "damage" into my insurance company. This very same damage that should have been photographed and documented when I picked up the car. It seems that the experience I had at this location is not unique, I can see that it has the lowest google rating of any Enterprise location in Aurora, I see many complaints about service, and THREE recent complaints about inaccurate damage reports. It also has a very low rating on Yelp with many complaints about service and charges. Someone at that location knows exactly what happened to that car, and they are trying to make me pay for it. I only called ahead because my reservation was through my auto insurance company and had been transferred to this enterprise from another location around 6:50pm the night before. At least she told me, but the thing is... I asked her about alternative locations and she said they didn't have any cars either. The shop I took my vehicle to for repair called another close by location, which came to pick me up. They didn't have a lot of cars, but were friendly and accommodating. This location - nope. Also, when navigating to this location, be aware that there's another business called "Enterprise" on Havana, and waze will take you there instead if you're not careful. read more

I had a reservation set up for a rental car while my car was in the shop for hail damage. When I set up the reservation over the phone, I was told that they open at 7am, when I showed up around 7:15 The branch manager Laura said they don't open for about 15 more min and to come back then. I asked if it was ok to wait inside or do I need to wait outside? She seemed to be bothered by my question and rolled her eyes and with an attitude said, "no its fine, I guess I can move my morning meeting to the office" I stayed quiet and about 15min later she returned, her attitude continued while gathering my information. Once she asked my occupation and found out I'm an insurance agent with an insurance company that sends a good amount of business to enterprise she was more polite. Laura said we were about finished, and she was going to hand me off to Jax to do a walk around the vehicle and finish it up. I think Jax attitude was worse than when I first spoke with Laura. I am still so confused because I have been to this location in the past for different claims and my experience was 100 times better of course with different managers and employees.. This place went from great to horrible just in the customer service side of things. I was contemplating whether or not I should leave a review, but my hope is that this review is read by the right person within enterprise and helps take their customer service to a much higher level. In my option the way I was treated was unprofessional and unacceptable, I did not feel valued as a customer but in fact I felt like I was a bother and an inconvenience. It was as if they felt they were doing me a favor by doing their job. This will definitely impact my decisions on returning to enterprise in the future and referring my clients after this experience.. Also, the car was dirty, it looked like dried cleaner spray on the doors and seats as if they just sprayed it and never whipped it down, carpet on driver's side was tore up, it smelled like smoke then it looked like they tried to mask it with disinfectant spray. This was a lie, they are blaming it on car shortage but yet never reached out to me to tell me that. So I showed up and BIG SURPRISE! No car was ready for me, leaving me carless and stranded. Today, May 21, 2024, I had a day from hell with the Enterprise Denver International Airport location! We encountered racism and discrimination from Brandon (supervisor). Octavio Paz had a reservation (1360863947), and Brandon took Octavio's driver's license to the office and came back and said it was "red" which means he could not rent him a vehicle. I know Octavio's license is valid and he does his income taxes like any other U.S. citizen. He has a decent, honest job. He has rented vehicles in the past. I did not get a valid clear explanation of the refusal. When Elser Ramirez tried to rent a car, Brandon said his account was "red" as well, but with NO VALID EXPLANATION or reasoning. My husband is a U.S. Citizen and has a valid Colorado driver's license. Brandon committed a racist act on Octavio Paz and discrimination to Elser Ramirez. He also threatened to call the police, which he never did. I have never seen such horrible downgrading customer service in my life! We lost more than 2 hours of our valuable time and when I threatened to call the police, they then changed the story saying they could rent us a vehicle after all. I ended up renting the vehicle, since we already had a reservation and Marcos tried to help us as much as he could, but he did NOT OFFER A VALID REASON for not renting the vehicle to Octavio or Elser. He said Brandon wasn't being racist, just doing his job, but how do you explain why he didn't rent a vehicle to my husband? Is it because my husband has a Latino accent? This sure does sound like RACISM and DISCRIMINATION to me! This is the first and last time I will ever rent in this horrible location. Brandon deserves to be FIRED for his incompetence, racism and discrimination! I have never been so humiliated in my life! I hope something gets done in regard to this because Enterprise is sure going to lose a lot of MONEY if he does not rent to people with "marked" driver's licenses. This is not only going to affect Enterprises' finances, but it does not look good on the company. We visited Denver on Labor Day Weekend so we expected car rental prices to be a little higher than usual due to the demand and holiday. I looked all over the internet - Kayak, Expedia, Priceline, etc for car rental at the airport and it the price was insane. All the quotes were between $300-$350 for that weekend! I decided to not look for rentals at the airport. This location was about 2 miles from our AirBnb. I gave them a call for a quote and it came out to $86 the entire weekend! I thought there was a catch or some hidden fees for when I got there but there was none! They upgraded us from an Economy to a Jeep for free and the car was clean and full of gas. We returned the car full of gas and our $150 deposit was cleared. No issue, would use again. read more

Worst service I've received in my life. My mom got into an accident and was in need of a rental until her car was fixed. The manager seems really nice up front but weirdly rushes you through the process and is eager to get you so sign the contract and leave. Turned out he told us the price of the car and how long the first round of payment lasted was a complete li and we were charged double what we expecte. I was given a Jeep Cherokee as a rental while my truck was in the shop. I took it home the first evening and parked it in the garage. I went to work the next day and made a stop by my corporate office to get the mail to then go to my home office. The first stop at corporate I went in to grab the mail no more than two minutes. I came back out to the Jeep and the panic horn was going off and could not be stopped. The vehicles battery was dead, and the car would not start. I communicated this to the Enterprise office and they mentioned sorry your more than 10 miles from us we can't help. I got a jump and the car was still acting very odd. Dimming of LED lights and seemed to idle weird. I was able to make it to my home office. I communicated to Enterprise this vehicle was not safe and I would like it switched out. They said it's on you to bring it in and get it switched even with major mechanical issues. They would not give a little to help. After work I had to jump the car again to get it started to go switch out vehicles, on the way I had to have it jumped twice just to get it back to enterprise. I did get the vehicle switched finally. I also mentioned over the phone I would not like my ticket to be closed as I have another credit card to put it on. They said absolutely that's fine Come in on what was this Monday and we will take care of it. Considering the service I had previously received, I decided Monday I would call to let them know and remind them I was stopping by to change cards. Chris said there's a note here not to close your ticket, until you come in to change the card, but I'm sorry we went ahead and closed the ticket sorry, nothing we can do. Worst experience. Talked to this guy, Eric(Erik), the day before to pick up an SUV before my bodyshop appointment. Waited for a very long time as NOBODY was present in the lobby full of customers. Finally got someone to help only to find out that the *confirmed* reservation had never made by this guy Eric. They said they didn't have a vehicle for me, and told me to go to my bodyshop appointment and "find a way back later" WTF!! Finally they managed to find me a car in a different location. The frustrating thing is that the entire time this Eric dude was hiding in his office, no assistance, no apologies, nothing. He told the other guy Parker that he didn't remember our call, even though I had the call record. Maybe this guy is a manager? Not sure how such incompetent person could be allowed to run a business. I had a great experience renting cars here with Josh! While my car was in the shop, Josh let me know his driver was running a bit late so instead he sent an Uber to get me. The rental car I got was very clean and smooth, no issues picking it up or dropping it off. Unfortunately for me, my car got hit again 2 weeks later. Josh personally left me a voicemail once he got my second claim just to make sure it wasn't a mistake and let me know he was there for any questions I had throughout this month of me using rentals! He provided excellent customer service and made sure I felt satisfied with both the cars I got in one month and with the overall experience! I truly felt cared for here and would recommend them to anyone looking to get into a car in a smooth transition. read more

Do not go to this branch!!! I have had positive experiences with many other enterprises so I believe this is branch specific. Upon dropping off our car for repairs and being referred here, I met with Blake. He presented a damage coverage option while we rented as though it was required. What he failed to mention was that my insurance covered all of this which our insurance agent confirmed ENTERPRISE KNOWS! So why do they offer additional damage protection when they know that the insurance company covers this? It's completely unethical practice, as our insurance agent confirmed. Yes I should've known that my insurance covered this but it should've never been offered. This is the practice of manipulating women who are renting from them (and it's common). When we went to drop off our rental car after a long stay due to many repairs, we were hit with a huge bill. Upon fighting the bill on the premise that the additional coverage should've never been offered in the first place, they offered a 50% discount on the bill. If it was an ethical practice why wouldn't they stick to the original amount?? They 100% know that they are scamming people with this practice otherwise they wouldn't budge on the bill. I will NEVER return to this branch of enterprise unless they seriously change their ways, and I am telling everyone I know to avoid this enterprise!!! read more

Stay away from this location, atleast while Alexa is on duty. I call this place up looking for a rental. Alexa answers and I ask what available standard suvs do you have for today. She then asks me if I am asking about the cars she has on the lot right now to confirm. I say yes and she names two vehicles , I tell her I want one of them and proceed to give her my insurance claim number. She then tells me the vehicles are no longer available and that I would have to come back the following Tuesday if I want to rent anything from this location. My reservation was through my insurance, and I didn't know that it had changed locations based on where my car was being repaired, so I came to this location accidentally without knowing I didn't have a car there anymore. The man who helped me was extremely accommodating (I wish I remembered his name but he was blonde with no glasses). He provided me another rental in the meantime until they could give me what my insurance reserved, and it was just such a nice service amongst dealing with all the other logistics of my wreck! I also watched him give amazing customer service to some patrons who I believe were very rude and did not deserve it! Everyone at this location was super nice, and they answered all my questions about fees and charges. If you card is charged it's b/c enterprise does it to ensure the car is returned! Had a rental vehicle stolen on 5/5/21, the car was locked, windows up and I had the key (remote key that's supposed to stop a car from moving if key isn't detected) so I reached out to enterprise to ask if they had a tracker on the car, I was told they didn't (seemed odd). I then proceeded to download the Toyota app and PAID for a safety function to track the car once it's reported stolen. I have no clue why Enterprise couldn't do this themselves seen as though it is THEIR VEHICLE, instead they placed me on the no rent list, refused to give me another car and told me I would be responsible for any damage or loss of the vehicle... as if I'm not the victim in this situation. Over the next few days, I called Aurora police dispatch, Enterprise and Toyota MULTIPLE times, argued with a dispatcher, debated with Toyota, just a lot of back and forth and getting the run around from people that are suppose to be helping me. Toyota picked up a location on 5/8, I only know this because I called them, yet again , for an update. On 5/10 the car was towed to Denver impound, I only know this because I called Denver PD to inquire after being told multiple times that someone would reach out TO ME after the car was found. I went to try to retrieve whatever belongings may have been left behind and check damage on the car, there was none. All of this is to say that "I" am the sole reason Enterprise got their vehicle back, I should be THANKED for all of the effort I put in instead of added to the no rent list and charged fees. They did nothing to help me, the victim. Nobody cared about me, my well-being, or my belongings. All you care about is collecting your insurance money and whatever out of pocket fees you think I'll be paying you. You guys need to do better read more

Selected this location while my car was being repaired. I made my reservation online for an Economy vehicle, however upon arrival there were no Economy cars available. Rather that make me wait or go to another location I received an upgrade which was very nice. Thought that I would have the rental for a week but it actually took two weeks for the repairs to my car, I needed to extend my rental. The staff was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly.
