It's been quite a while since I've rented with Enterprise and I'm happy I did. I did call at my appointment time to confirm the vehicle was ready and it was. Once I arrived I was greeted by Jacqueline and she took my information to confirm my reservation and she was very nice. Another woman helped me (I wish I remembered her name) with the logistics of signing paperwork. It took no more than 15 minutes and I was on my way. Upon returning the vehicle, Jacqueline helped me again. I really appreciate the customer service along with the vehicle being ready on time. incredibly UNHELPFUL! i spoke to representative that told me THIS Enterprise location would wait for me to exchange my rental (since they close at 12 and i would arrive at 12:15) and there were no other nearby locations near me. I arrive and there is no one there, i saw two other people looking through the windows for help on their own matter as well. Their hours are ridiculous. Closing at noon?!!?! BEWARE. At 12:30 an employee was locking the door and i told them that a representative spoke to someone here for me saying they have a car for me to exchange with my current, he said he didn't have a car for me and all the cars they have in the back are for purchase. Had reservations for an SUV got all the way to the place just for them to say they didn't have my rental because I was 2 hours late. Why wouldn't you have called and said something. My dealership set up for a rental from Enterprise. I am disappointed in the car. It is dirty on the inside. It smelled disgusting. It had hair on the seats. It had old hand sanitizer between the seats. The windows were dirty. They passenger window had writing from some ones finger and the car was supposed to be clean. There was a used disposable razor in the door. I was so taken back I yelled and tossed it. I wish I would have taken a picture. There was food under the seats. If I have to get a rental here again I will be sure to inspect the car. They only reason I gave it a star was because the gentleman that help me was quick and efficient even though he was the only one working at the time and it was busy. Good work. I had a very good experience with these guys. I rented a car with my auto insurance due to a collision. Fortunately they have a contract that allows a good rate at $50 and under. My Chevy Equinox was at $35 daily rate. It was an easy pick up and drop off. They came and picked me up at my home and dropped me off. Now...if you rent on your own...the rates are steep!!! This is my first time at this location and I was able to get picked up from my home which is a plus. The driver was super friendly, he did not have a problem when I left my purse at home he just turned the car around, it was perfect. Even though I'm a 1 mile out of the pick up they still was able to get me. When walking into the establishment, I was greeted by a rep and he was ready with my information because it was 11:56a they close at 12 noon on Saturdays. He was so nice and took his time to walk around the car and made sure I was ok. I was able to get a upgrade which was so amazing I had no problem with that. I was on my way on the road in no time. I've been coming here to enterprise for awhile so I'm happy to see their customer service is top notch after all these years. Even the driver who took me home was amazing. Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Front desk - Car Rental Near Me - Bakersfield, California

So, this location is a little hard to find. It is attached to a body shop. The staff are really nice and try their best to be helpful. I've been there twice and liked the service and staff very much. No long lines, no hassles. When I called them, they called back. I like that. If you live within 5 miles, or maybe it was six, they will come pick you up at your house. The cars are pretty new, and mostly clean, but I think they are cleaning the cars in a dark area that needs better lighting, because the windows are smudged with wipe marks. It looks like someone was wiping it down but couldn't see very well the smudges still there. Both times, I had to re-clean the windows at home. Otherwise, I was happy with how clean the cars were. Prices are average, and not very cheap, but compared to rideshare companies, I'd rather have the rental. 2 - 3 rides in a ride share are about what the nicer rentals cost anyhow, and I don't have to wait around for the ride. If you are in the southwest of Bakersfield, give this Enterprise location a try. They are really nice and try hard. read more

I wanted to review the location near Caliber Collision. I want to express my gratitude for how they accommodated me when I had to get my car repaired. The staff at this Enterprise location was able to drop me off a rental car at Caliber Collision and also let me return it there so that I do not have to stress about how to get around while not having a car. You guys have no idea how you made my life easier, more convenient, and less stressful for me. Some may think these are little things to accommodate, but I want you to know that for students like me living out of town, it made such a huge difference. Wonderful location. This is a really great place to rent a car. They care a lot more than other rental car companies and they really want the customers business. The customer service as Enterprise is always leaps and bounds different than Hertz. I have rented multiple cars from Enterprise and this is by far my favorite location in Bakersfield. The employees always get me in and out and make sure that I have a clean and sanitized car that is safe and ready for my trip. I would recommend this location and would hope that other rental car companies copy how Enterprise does things. read more

I had the most wonderful experience at this particular Enterprise Rent A Car! The gentleman that attended to me was Steven. The location on Brundage Ln. gave me a faulty car and then proceeded to tell me to go get it fixed myself and was hostile about it (Hannah the Manager). I was sad and distraught. Then corporate directed me to this location on Stine and I could not be happier. The staff was diligent, kind and understanding. They even fixed the issue with my rental car to completion. I've rented from enterprise several times before, it has always been an above average experience. This location, however, was a pain! There was not one thing that went smoothly, and I'm extremely disappointed in their dishonesty, lack of customer service, and general rudeness of staff. With the gasoline alley location being only a few miles away I would strongly encourage everyone to use that location over this one. Made a reservation for today explaining to them when I made this reservation that I do not get off work until 2, okay not a problem they said. Well I get here at 2:40 and they tell me they gave the car to someone else because I was not there at noon. I am floored to say the least the guy behind the counter was a total ass after I also said I filled out the paperwork over the text message they sent me. He then tells me "you have to fill out the paperwork here" the hell if I do I already done this ahead of time!! He then tells that the auto mall enterprise is sold out as well and to try Brundage ln. For one I should not have to call all over Bakersfield looking for a rental when I made the damn reservation in the first place.. Terrible service ever! My husband tried to rent a vehicle from enterprise on stone and he had trouble doing so because the insurance is under my name...it is against their policy for husband, boyfriend, or anybody that is not the insurer on the policy cannot try to pick up the rental car. However the man that works there gave the lady a rental car under her husbands name. My husband saw that and thought it was biased and unfair. So my husband said to the man, "is it because I don't have a pair of boobs?" So my husband left. Oh and the service is very slow... They take their precious time and don't care how long you are being serviced there. Of course I went to the other enterprise on gasoline alley the next day and tried to get help. The customer service was overall pretty good and they seemed to be timely in everything I needed. The one star rating comes from my issue with their fuel policy. Because I was using a rental while my car was being repaired and I had rental coverage from Geico, the sales rep when I took the car said that I would only be charged for fuel to refill it from the fuel level I brought it in at. I think they're normal policy is to charge for a full tank when you elect that fuel option. However, he clearly stated to me that it would only charge what is needed to top off the tank and stated it was because it was an insurance rental plan. Instead they charged me for a full tank of gas. Admittedly I did not call and complain because when I brought it in it was so low on fuel that it required nearly a full tank to fill it and it wasn't worth the hassle. Worst customer service ever! Spoke to Erica on the phone prior to arrival. Was informed that they had no cars available, but perhaps if I came in after 1:00 I "might" get a car. No guarantees! Mind you my reservation was already in the system.(Although it was made at Delano location by my claims adjuster, I was told that I could go anywhere as the info was already downloaded). As I arrived, I was escorted inside by some guy. Erica looked at me, did not acknowledge me and went to the back of the office and sat. No hellos, no "I'll be with you in a moment ma'am". I was finally helped by a young man with greasy brown hair. He did nothing to assist. He argued incessantly on why he couldn't assist me. Ridiculous! BUYER BEWARE! These people are the worst. They get you in the door by picking you up but, after it is pure hell trying to deal with them. They aggressively push up-sells from the vehicle you ordered to INSURANCE. I did agree to the $30 up-sell, begrudgingly though. On a recent rental the guy was in a tizzy trying to have me pay for additional $30 for insurance. He kept pressuring me for 30 minutes with vague assertions and scare tactics, Then he would not rent to me. I had to call a family member telling him umpteenth time that I do not want his insurance. When the family member arrived he went on the same tactics with her with me standing write there. He started laughing sarcastically when I stopped him to explain clearly. HE DELAYED OUR LAX TRIP BY 1.5 HOURS CAUSING US A LOT OF PAIN, JUST SO HE CAN MAKE MONEY OFF OF INSURANCE. read more

The worse customer service except from the girl that got me the car because they didnt have the one i made reservations on so she gave me a free upgrade but i guess didnt quote it on the computer she didnt give me a receipt but i was going for 2 days and then needed it for a week. So $580 on hold on my car guy said $167 for a week endded up being $312 Anyways after a week and a half later still waiting for $268.50 to be taken off hold ive called everyday and they say they will have someone call me..
