Greek fast food FTW. Having worked in NYC all of my life, I never knew there was a location in Midtown, but I am super duper thankful they have one in Bergen County. The food from this assembly line Greek restaurant is DEEEELICIOUS. I had no idea what I was missing! I dropped in to pick up an order on a random Sunday afternoon and, surprisingly, this location was huge. I expected a small interior, but I was shocked to see how much space there was and how many tables there were inside. Best of all, it was fairly quiet. The menu is super simple. You can either order a signature bowl or create your own. I highly recommend just creating your own so that you can determine what ingredients will be included. For create your own bowls, like almost all chain restaurants with this concept, you choose a base first, then a protein, sides, spread and dressing. Simple. As for food, it was EXTREMELY flavorful. I ordered a salmon custom bowl and my wife ordered a shrimp custom bowl. I absolutely fell head over heels after my 1st bite! Everything was just so good and there were flavors pulling me each and every way. Honestly, I came away thinking that this was one of the best... yes, one of the BEST, assembly-style chain restaurants out there. The ingredients were fresh and the food really got my attention. Naya is one of my favorite counter-service chain restaurants and EONS is now up there too. To put it lightly, we will DEFINITELY be back for more.

First time dining here. The restaurant is clean and modern. The staff are helpful and professional. The food is fast, fresh and delicious! You choose your protein, veggies, grains and other toppings for your bowl and wraps. You can choose a fountain or bottled drink. If you're ever in the area. GET SOME!

this place really went downhill. came here at 5pm on a tuesday and nothing looked fresh. got the salmon bowl and the salmon was soo dry and overcooked. my dad got the gyro and it was more like jerky! cheap with toppings. had to pay $1.50 for pita!! everything is extra. go to cava instead!! unlimited toppings, free pita, and fresh food! also ordered the baklava and it was not crispy at all but rather super soggy. dinner for two people, baklava and two drinks was $50! should've went to an actual restaurant!!! it was such a rip off and service was not pleasant. the place was dead and they couldn't be bothered. this place will be gone soon.

DoorDashed today from Eons- very tasty. Got salad with beets, octopus, hummus, rice and beans. Always good but octopus over cooked & loaded with onions, capers & red peppers, as usual unfortunately. I don't mind the peppers but the onions & capers are over bearing. Large portions & saving the rest for tomorrow's lunch.

Was in the area so stopped by for lunch. I got the Enos shrimp wrap and baklava. My food was good and taste fresh they also give a good portion of shrimp in the wrap. Overall I was happy with my experience.

My office orders here often for lunch and it's always consistently delicious. I've come here separately on several occasions and have always had a friendly experience. My order has always been correct! Love this place for a quick healthy meal!

Love eons!! Compared to Chipotle and other similar type salad bars, this place is a bit pricier with a typical bowl at about $15. I had an uber eats coupon and got every topping and double protein to tell YOU what is the best (so you dont need to drop $30 on a salad). Note that in person you can ask for falafal as a side, but on the app you can not. Brown rice base, chicken and falafel protein, greek salad and beets topping, hummus and feta, mango dressing. If you have a coupon, get double protein. If you don't, just go in person because the falafel is really good here.

I came here for vegan meal. Since it's my first time I asked the young lady working to help me out. She made some nice recommendations and we came up with a good option. I was satisfied with the freshness and quality of the food. Also, the amount was fulfilling. I was stuffed after having this meal, I couldn't even finish the chips and eggplant dip. If you're looking for a healthy and clean meal then check this place out. You will be in for a nice treat. Plenty of parking since it's located in a shopping center. I will be back to try more of the options and creations.

I've always loved Greek food and after being to Greece I love it even more. After passing this place a few times I decided to stop in and it did not disappoint! I ordered online and both times my meal was ready exactly when they said it would be. And yes, I said both times bc it was so good I went back the next day haha I created my own bowl, half salad half rice, chicken, chickpea salad, lemon potatoes, and eggplant the one day and the next I tried the feta spread in addition to all of the above. It is soooo good! Satisfying meal for a great price. I will definitely be returning!

I was craving mediterranean and came across EONS on yelp and had 4 stars and sounded pretty good. However, I was not satisfied with the experience I had. I was really disappointed with the customer service I received. The worker seemed very disengaged and was not helpful answering the questions I had when ordering as it was my first time there. I ended up ordering a pita bowl with falafel as my protein, chickpea and eons salad as my sides and tzatziki sauce as my topping. I was also disappointed that additional sauces were $2 each since they all sounded good. I asked for the pita bread on the side and ate it about 15 minutes after and it was hard and unbreakable.

No matter where one is, Christmas Eve, Noche Buena, Veille de Noël, Vigilia di Natale, and Paramoní…read moreChristoúgennon are more than tradition and family--they're all about food celebrated in a special way that often varies by country. Whether it's a roast turkey with endless sides, spicy meat stew, a seafood extravaganza, or even no-frills Kentucky Fried Chicken, there's no holding back when the season for feasting rolls around. Located on busy Broadway in Elmwood Park, we decided on our Christmas Eve dinner at this family-owned establishment. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon arrival as first-timers, my partner and I were greeted by the owner at Taverna Mykonos and got a table for two right away in the corner where the tables are close to each other inside their cozy, very dim-lit, and elegant dining room with Christmas music playing throughout. There's a full bar with an extensive selection of Greek wines, with approximately 80% sourced from regions across Greece, as well as other excellent choices from California and Spain. The menu featured both authentic traditional Greek dishes along with many other options. The restaurant bakes all of its bread as well as its desserts. Traditionally, the meat of choice served during a Greek Christmas meal is lamb and pork. For starters, we decided to share Keftedes (Greek-style seasoned meatballs served with tzatziki dipping sauce). For our main meal, we opted for Baby Roasted Lamb with roasted potatoes and Lamb Shank with tomato orzo. Complimentary bread started our meal, and we washed it down with a sparkling spring water product of Greece. Complimentary cookies were given to each table at the end of the meal. The food was fresh, using quality ingredients, tasty, and well-presented. We enjoyed the keftedes very much, as they were moist and complemented well with the tzatziki dipping sauce. The portion was reasonable. However, we were disappointed with the Baby Roasted Lamb, as it was mostly bones with only some pieces of edible meat. Service is professional, friendly, and fast. The cost is comparable to the area. Exchanged a few words with the owner, George, about the old neighborhood in Astoria. Opa!

One had eaten and taken out from here before and liked it, so we called, didn't need a reservation, off we went. At about 5:15, give or take, we were the first patrons there. It's a lovely large space, warmly decorated with tables and some banquettes. We chose a 4-top kind of right in the center! Comfy chairs, btw. The menu isn't strictly Greek or Lebanese or Turkish, kind of a combo of good choices from those cuisines. We started with an appetizer called Tinos Artichoke. Very interesting, served with small warm fresh wedges of pita plus a cup of deliciously seasoned pita chips. It's a dip of mashed artichokes with Greek yogurt, sun dried tomatoes, parsley, garlic, feta. S tasty! It's a great portion to share among several people. My friends each ordered the chicken soup with vegetables for appetizers. Quite a nice sized bowl for the price; I love avgolemono, if that's what it was (I didn't taste it), just didn't feel like having soup. They both liked it very much and then they were pretty full! I ordered two appetizers for my meal - Symi Shrimp and Grilled Halloumi. Excellent choices, and they worked really well together as a meal! The 2 slabs of perfectly cooked halloumi are served on a bed of romaine lettuce and some threads of carrot. The shrimp are small, very lightly breaded and deliciously seasoned; menu says garlic, lemon, but they were reddish so I suspect maybe paprika as well or cayenne + paprika (not hot but not bland), shredded feta sprinkled liberally on top. I'm a big eater, but after the appetizer I wasn't able to finish my meal; today I reheated in the toaster oven for a lunch treat! One friend had just the Symi shrimp as her meal; the soup had filled her up and she also took some home. Our other friend had the chicken shish. This came as a really well-balanced plate, with plenty of cubes of chicken, rice, and veggies. We ALL had to-go bags! Appetizer portions, just based on the appetizers we were served, are ample for sharing. Didn't stay for dessert, as I had a train to catch back into the City. When I'm out in Bergen County again, I'll think about coming back. If you live in the area, GO, It's very good and not exorbitantly priced.

Tino's Artichoke is a tasty start - an artichoke dip with feta and sun-dried tomatoes served with pita chips. We'll usually get the mixed grill (but subbing lamb in for the beef, way more flavor). Or, a mix of grilled octopus, grilled calamari and a salad. Everything is very flavorful and goes great with the pita bread. Our calamari was a little chewy this last visit, which surprised me. It's never like that. Octopus is always tender and comes with tasty charred onions, peppers, caperberries. Other delicious dishes here - chicken shish, the steak, gyro, grilled shrimp, lamb shish. Lately they've been decorating tables with fresh flowers - nice touch and complements the candles.

Like a lot of these spots, the tables are very close to each other so don't expect privacy especially if you're just two people. They have a decent menu with pita sandwiches, salads, appetizers, souvlaki platters, seafood and a kids menu, as well as specials. We enjoyed the falafel pita ($12.75, not dry and soft pita, hummus sauce but no tzaziki) and the shrimp platter ($25, on a bed of pita bread, fries [similar to diner fries] and a small side of pilaf rice for $4.5). It would have been nice if both entrees came with a side salad (or something) to complete the meal. I had my eye on the moussaka but there was no vegetarian version and they didn't have a spanakopita platter either. Also no complimentary pita, tapenade or chips, unlike some other Greek places. Since they seem to be pretty busy, service is fine and tries to keep it moving. Some people entered and had to wait for a table but staff didn't seem to rush anyone who was languishing a bit out. There was a steady stream of customers and takeout orders which likely speaks to a consistent experience. Their to-go bags were actually blue reusable bags, which I thought was a nice touch. Bring cash because credit card orders tack on almost 4% to the bill. The location isn't the best atmosphere wise (shopping plaza near Shop Rite and next to a Jersey Mike's) - small but not intimate - but on the plus side, parking is easy. If you miss the turn and go into Shop Rite, you can still get to the restaurant without going back on the main street.
