The hostess was extremely unfriendly and seemed very unhappy. She played the game and greeted us, but never once made eye contact, said "welcome in", "thank you for coming in" or anything else that would make a customer feel like they were appreciated for coming in. From the time we walked in to the time she showed us to our table, I said "thank you so much" three times and not once was even acknowledged or replied back with a "you're welcome". She should really find something else to do if she's not going to be a "host". Serving people should be the greatest pleasure we have when engaging with those we don't know. Patrick on the other hand was truly awesome. Friendly, smiling, engaged in conversation prior to taking our order and just seemed happy to talk to us. We told him we were from Nevada and were only there because of a recommendation from a couple in an elevator! He thought that was just awesome. Food arrived and everything was really good. The hash browns were WAY overcooked, almost burnt, but that was the only negative thing to say about the food. It was otherwise delicious! I would strongly suggest this place for breakfast. The menu is really good, with a decent variety of good options to choose from. Cost wasn't bad, but not a deal either. If I was part of the management team, I'd have a serious conversation with the young lady who was hosting today (8/12/26. She's going to cost you return business if she doesn't learn how to be a host and be happy serving people.

They weren't able to do that with the burrata pasta due to the burrata ball on top which was completely fine! Both pasta dishes were tasty but the lemon pesto burrata blew me away. Every bite was absolutely incredible and it's such a unique dish that's hard to find somewhere else or replicate at home. I completely recommend giving it a try. The focaccia bread appetizer was also amazing! We added & paid for a few extra pieces to accommodate the size of our group and everyone absolutely loved it. The drinks were also really well done & strong without being overly stiff. They were really well mixed and tasty. Our server was so sweet and helped make the experience so special for us. I cannot wait to come back!

On my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to find a seat at the bar. Dev took great care of us! He checked in right away, answered our questions, and helped us decide which pizza to order. I had the Moscato, while my friend went with the Pinot Grigio, and we shared the Hearth & Honey pizza. We asked for extra honey, which was absolutely the move! The sweet honey paired so well with the pepperoni, cheese, and rosemary. We ordered the full-sized pizza, which could easily be split among three people. The patio is probably one of my favorite parts of EaTo. It's dog-friendly, has plenty of seating, and I love all of the flowers surrounding the perimeter, it makes the space feel especially inviting during the warmer months. Pro tip: If you're part of their rewards program, check your account around your birthday! I received a $5 birthday reward in addition to a free mini cheesecake, which was such a fun perk. They also seem to have some great specials throughout the week that I'd love to come back and check out. Between the patio, wine, pizza, and relaxed atmosphere, EaTo has become an easy spot to return to!

If you weren't hungry before, you will be now. The restaurant is clean, the background music is at a good volume and we were able to get a booth right away. The booths are a bit on the smaller side for four people. Our drink orders included mango lassi, glasses of white wine (heavy pours ), and sparking water. Every glass was emptied. Pairing with our drinks we ordered chicken 65, spice level 3, and Dahi Puri. The chicken 65 was delicious but at a spice level 3 it was the tippy top of my spice level. The Dahi Puri needs to be eaten in one bite. The shell is fragile and is filled with liquid - very good but not what we expected. We each ordered our own entree, but they are big enough to be shared. Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Shahi Korma, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Makhani. All were ordered at spice level 3, except the Chicken Tikka. These were milder and easier for my Minnesota spice palette to handle. We also ordered multiple orders of regular naan and garlic naan. I appreciate that they served the naan and rice together instead of individual servings. With limited table space the fewer plates the better. We had plenty of leftovers for us all to take home. Overall this was a delicious dinner and I'd highly recommend!

Wood + Paddle is located inside of the Royal, it's their hotel restaurant. On my first night in Minneapolis, I'd arrived to the hotel for check-in around dinner time. Not sure where to go and tired from the flight, I headed down to the lobby and walked over. When I asked if I could get a table for 1, she asked me if I would be comfortable with eating at the bar. It was a Sunday night, so I think she wanted to reserve tables for parties of two or more. I was fine with it, but I noticed there were quite a few empty tables. A few days later, I had lunch with a colleague here. We got seated at a table, and the service was really good. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we kept our lunch within our time requirements so we could get back to the conference without issue. The food was really good.
