i recently moved to a new apartment, where it's impossible to hide a key on the grounds. i knew i should have put a magnetic key box under my car, but didn't. sure enough, 6:30 pm thursday i let the apartment door slam behind me then instantly realized my purse was still in the apt. luckily, my cell phone was on me. i started calling locksmiths and settled on eric's as the closest and least expensive. terrific service. though he had said he'd be here within 20 minutes, eric's son mike arrived in what seemed like 10 minutes. instant access -- i want one of those wire thingies !! mike was super nice, we had a long chat afterward, then he made me an extra key for free. i highly recommend eric's, and am only docking a star because i think i should have been eligible for an even better price based on the fact that i'm only 10 minutes away -- anh h's review mentions a $45 price for the same service. read more

I took my dog for a walk and realized as my apartment door closed that my keys were still on the kitchen table (DOH!). It was 10:20PM on a Saturday night. I called Eric's Locksmith because there was a little sticker on our building mailbox and I had no other resources at the time. After memorizing the number and then making a phone call using the Coffee Bean phone (Thank you!!!), I was told that he would be there in 15-20 minutes. He was the NICEST guy ever and was very quick to let me back into my apartment, even offering a tip on where I should keep a spare key. It cost $95.00 to be let back in, but it was well worth it. These guys are great for several reasons. First, they responded quickly to my yelp quote request. Second, they gave me advice on how to unlock my door for free. After the locksmith unlocked my door, he showed my husband how to unlock the door in case it happened again. Lastly, they suggested taking the lock out and would take it out for free so we won't have to worry about future problems. This company goes above and beyond. The owner contacted me and told me he has let the person go who came to my house and seriously overcharged me. He has also sent me the difference in overcharges.
