This is a really good location: #1. This location very clean inside and the decor throughout is well placed. I also noticed that the windows were clean. #2. There is plenty of indoor seating. #3. They have a great call to order menu with listings of what's in the sandwiches. #4. The "order taker" was super nice, and patient. #5. We ordered our sandwiches to eat there and were given a table order number. "The table service was fast and excellent" #5. I ordered their Gaocho Grinder. A warm sandwich that comes with roast beef, creamy mozzarella cheese, crispy fried onions, tomatoes, " secret goo", zesty chimichurri sauce. (Hold the sprouts!!) and a sliced pickle, wedge and orange wedge. The sandwich I must say was excellent, the Dutch crunch bread was super moist yet crunchy at the same time, the crispy onions added a nice touch while the chimichurri and secret goo sauce also added some wonderful flavors. I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food was basic and bland, and the service made it worse. I asked for a hot pastrami and provolone, and the worker told me I could only order the sandwiches listed on the menu. So I tried ordering one of their sandwiches with pastrami and removing the other meats. Then suddenly he tells me I can order a custom sandwich (completely contradicting what he said earlier). When my food finally came out, it wasn't even hot pastrami. I paid premium prices for a sandwich that was honestly WACK. Definitely not worth the money or the frustration. read more

We were spending some time at the gilroy outlets and were feeling a sandwich and salad so we came here. We shared a chicken pesto sandwich and a chicken Gorgonzola salad. However, there are combos for sandwich + soup/salad or half sandwich + soup/salad if you don't care for a specialty salad! What makes a sandwich for me is the bread-- usually as long as the ingredients are fresh, something like a basic salad or chicken pesto sandwich will be similar everywhere. The bread here was soft and definitely one of the better deli sandwiches I've had! I also enjoyed the sprouts in the sandwich-- it was something I don't see often but complemented everything well. The salad was also really good. Dressing was tasty and the honey maple walnuts added a nice note. The portions for the price were pretty good relative to competitors. We brought home half a sandwich because we couldn't finish everything. It's for sure better in every way than Panera. If you're feeling a basic deli meal, this is definitely one of the better spots I've been to. No complaints here! read more

Came here NYE for lunch and they were not busy, yet the 2 guys working there would take turns disappearing or both would disappear behind the counter into the kitchen. A family of 5 waited for 5m with no acknowledgment from the staff that handed orders to door dash drivers so they left. Our sandwiches were heated, and since the sandwiches were poorly stacked and made, the sandwiches were a mess to eat because it came completely apart. I understand that it's just a "sandwich restaurant" and of course it's not a fine dining establishment but a smile goes a long way. The server who took my order seemed like she had a rough day but a smile can make a difference. My sandwich, I usually get the raging bull, was cold and usually from past orders, it's toasted. Ordered online today and the order was messed up. I love this place I really do but don't staple the receipt on my bag with what i ordered and put the wrong order in the bag. I work near by and order online in the app. I love that they offer a points program and special deals. My order is always ready in a timely matter and the service is great. There was one occasion they called me due to not having avacado for my order, pilgrims progress (my usual). Luckily they called me and didn't just make the sandwich with no avacado, that's the best part. I quickly had to make up my mind and chose the chicken pesto sandwich which was delicious and will be a new favorite. I really enjoy the sandwiches from here, today when I went the customer service ruined my experience. We walked in around 5:35 pm, I place my order; 2 sandwiches, 2 pasta salads and 2 drinks. The cashier asked "for here or to go". I responded "for here". She responded "we're going to wrap it to go because we close in 20 minutes". There were. Couple of people eating inside so we sat down and when our food came it was wrapped but not in a bag. We started to eat inside since other customers were still inside. Within 5 minutes they turned off the lights . It wasn't 6 pm yet. Around 5:50 a customer walked in and ordered a sandwich and the cashier stated "we're closed we already put away the stuff to make sandwiches". The customer looked at his watch and asked "you close at 6, are you closing early". The cashier responded "you can buy drinks". Obviously the customer left. After additional customers were coming in and the cashier announced "you can only buy drinks, and we are only taking cards". I understand employees want to start cleaning early to leave on time but you really don't need to turn off the lights. read more

I have been working from home and have been really lazy, so I would have their sandwiches through doordash several times a week. After several weeks of doing this, my conclusion is that 1. Overall the sandwiches are pretty good. All of the veg stuff tastes fresh, and the proteins are not bad. 2. In general, there's never enough meat on the sandwich, you have to go for extra meat to get a decent amount I didn't give them 5 stars because while 80% of my order will show up correctly, the other 20%. would show up wrong. For $7.39 you get a heated sandwich filled with copious amounts of Grilled Chicken Breast chopped up for ease of bite, smothered in Pepper Jack Cheese, both buns layered with "Erik's" Pesto (I guess because it's made on site?), on a Peppered Onion Roll with Red Onions (best onion option for sandwiches), Tomatoes and and Sprouts. Togo's used to have onion rolls but those days are long gone -- so I was pleasantly surprised to see that Erik's has a like roll. Bomb.com Other sandwiches include the secret "goo"... some form of mayo or aioli based goo? Whatever it is, it's mouth watering! We ordered a plain turkey and avocado with goo... and I think it had cilantro. GENIUS idea! Cilantro in mayo -- I am definitely going to attempt this at home. Then our meal truly hit a home run with the carrot cake. Homemade home run for sure!
