The seating is quite comfortable. My family and I ended up booking an escape game, Star Trek: Quantum Filament for 5:40 on a Sunday evening. The game master was incredible! We were provided amazing hints and helped us to escape the Star Trek: Quantum Filament. Some of the puzzles were super easier, while others took awhile to figure out. It was slightly expensive though, approximately $270.00 for a party of 6. The experience was absolutely awesome and Escapology is one of our favorite go-to places for escape games. We plan on trying out Scooby-Doo next time! read more

Love to try new escape rooms in different areas! This was my first escape room to try outside of California so I went in with some expectations of what I know from my past escape rooms. You're instantly greeted by the really awesome, huge lobby! Its decorated so nicely, and you can tell this company tries to provide a lot of visuals for their customers! The room that my group of 5 did was Vegas Hangover! (Very fitting for this being my first escape room in Vegas lol) The room difficulty was 8/10, but we escaped in about 33 minutes! The overall storyline of the room was really cool, the decor and props were pretty top notch, and the puzzles were pretty solid as well. I would say these puzzles are mostly straight forward so I would recommend this as a beginner room with friends!! This place offers 3 free hints, and more hints but with an added time penalty. That, to me, was a challenge LOL. So we didnt ask for any hints at all but they did give us some "nudges" that we didnt ask for and counted them as hints (oh well!) The staff here was very nice and accommodating as well! They were super helpful and explained everything well when bringing us to the room. OVERALL: I would recommend trying out the rooms here! Came to Escapology a month ago with some friends to play their Scooby Doo escape room! I love Scooby Doo! I grew up watching the cartoon on Cartoon Network! The Scooby Doo escape room isn't hard but its tons of fun and you're guaranteed to solve it within the time frame. It doesn't matter how young or how old you are. The production quality is fantastic and I love how they don't trap you in the room. If you need to leave at any time, you absolutely can. I would definitely recommend them for an escape room game! Escapology is hands down one of the top escape rooms in Las Vegas in terms of variety, cleanliness, professionalism, room execution, and Fun! I've done all of the escape rooms at this location as well as the other location and love that they have signature rooms, but do add some new ones every now and then (the newest one I saw was the Scooby Doo one, which I felt was just as fun as their other themed rooms). I've done a lot of escape rooms in southern Nevada, California, Florida, and Texas, and these ones really are great. The different types of "clues" or "keys" and activities that you do within each room really are clever and out of the box as opposed to other rooms which seem pretty easy to figure out. Recently in the newer rooms, They have a better system of letting you see your time and any clues you ask for via a large screen in the room. The game masters who watch you and help you if needed are enthusiastic when introducing themselves and you to the room, which is always a great sign to see people who enjoy their job! They do definitely cater to families, friends, younger and older, which allows so many people to experience the challenges and fun of an escape room! At the end, hopefully after you have escaped, you get to take your team photo with fun signs and they send you your team photo via the email you provided on the waiver you signed in the beginning on an iPad. There you can also see the leaderboard! I always forget about the discounts they provide, but I've almost always gotten a little discount code from our game master to use in the future if wanting to do another game. Went here with my boyfriend because he ended up with 2 spare tickets from a bachelor party event where 2 people didn't show up. This places doesn't offer refunds so that's why I'm knocking a star off. We did the Scooby Do escape room and it was pretty fun. Even though it was listed as an easy room we only had 6 minutes left when we completed the room. Each room has an hour limit and there are 3 difficulties from easy to hard. I had fun and the clues were all creative. The staff helped us out a few times because some of the clues I just couldn't get. You get 3 free clues and each clue after knocks 2 minutes off your time. I'd probably go again for a fun activity to do that isn't eating or drinking. I would just be wary if you're going with a larger group, they don't offer refunds, only a credit for a ticket. read more

What a fantastic time! Booked a group to do the Seven Deadly Sins rooms nearly at the same time. We had a group of 11 so we did have to split up. Both groups were able to escape. Per the workers, Seven Deadly Sins is an 8.5/10 in difficulty. I would say this is correct, seeing as they do give you a couple of freebie clues (not including your 3 free hints) to kinda steer you in the right direction if they see you struggling for a long time on a task. We love this place. We've done four of the escape rooms. I took this picture on our first visit and I'm really glad I did, it helped in choosing the rooms the next three times we booked. I don't think the room difficulty ranking is on the website. Anyway, we started out with Lost City (7.5 out of 10 in difficulty) last April and did Vegas Hangover (8.0) the following night. Then last night we did 7 Deadly Sins (8.5) and then tonight we did Star Trek/ Quantum Filament (9.0). We escaped all of them, although I wouldn't say any of them were too easy or too hard. I will say that 7 Deadly Sins has a dark murder theme and there was a noise element that scared our 9-year-old grandson, so my husband left the room early with him. So just be aware of that room with young kids. However, Chris graciously let my husband and grandson participate in tonight's Star Trek escape room with us for free. We'll do the Murder Mansion room next time we're in town. read more

Reserved a room for Saturday evening about 6:15pm for the four of us. Staff were all very friendly and personable. The host for our room explained what he needed to very well and was also friendly and lively. The escape room itself was clean and neat and did not feel worn or used or beat up. Clues were very helpful and we were monitored so the clues were also timely if we got stuck. Afterwards a member of the staff took free pictures of us as a group with our own phones. We picked a medium difficulty room and did manage to escape, with some clues along the way. Would definitely return for a fun date night or group fun night. read more

Walk-ins are welcome. The room that we did was really fun and challenging at the same time. I would say my only complaint is that since we walked in without a reservation, our time slot was given up to the people after us while we were off to the side waiting for the rest of our group to decide. Otherwise the escape room was very well organized and I took off 1 star for customer service at the front reception, who should've asked us first before giving it to the next person. read more

I've been to this location twice and overall I've been happy with their escape rooms. Here's what I like about this Escapology location. First, the location feels safer than some other escape room companies I've been to in town. Even the location of the other Escapology in town makes me uneasy. The location in Town Square makes it easy to pair an escape room with dinner too. Second, Escapology is the most professional escape room company. The rooms have great themes with well designed rooms. Pricing is typically $40 per person, but they offer Groupons for weeknights. A Groupon for four came to about $20 per person. Reserve your room online ahead of time. They offer a nice selection of room themes and a wide variety of times to play. Each room is rated a scale of 1-10 in difficulty to help decide the level of difficulty you want to try. I've played Mansion Murder and Vegas Hangover. Both were a higher level of difficulty, but were fun themes. On my first visit I was in a group of six and the room comfortably fit all of us. The fun of the game will somewhat depend on the Game Master. Our Game Master on my first visit provided good hints and seemed to be watching as we played. On my second visit the Game Master was giving hints for parts of the puzzle that we had already solved. I've never had this happen before so hopefully it was an isolated event. Overall, Escapology is a fun activity for a group. Come ready to think and to think outside the box. read more

What a great way to start a night out with friends. They did a great job with the decor and have many game options. It can be a bit pricey, but pro tip, they have some groupons. the staff were friendly and gave a good synopsis of each of the games so hat we could choose the right one for our group. The game we did was Hangover Las Vegas themed. I would definitely recommend it. When you are done, you can go to dinner or bars all in the townsquare shopping center, so definetly a good starter spot. read more

Lost City - This is probably my least favorite room so far. * The staff at the Escapology on Maryland Parkway was way friendlier than the staff members here (minus 1 star). * The room itself was ok, but I don't think it deserves a 7.5 rating, maybe a 6? * Bathroom was out of service (minus 1/2 star). * Puzzles were ok (minus 1/2 star). My final takeaway, I wish we had chosen a different room. Next time around, we'll probably go to the Maryland Parkway location for better customer service. The Scooby Doo room was more enjoyable than the Lost City. P.S. We did escape with 10 minutes to spare. read more

Date night with my boyfriend never ceases to amaze me, lol. This weekend he surprised me with a date night escape room adventure. I had tried an escape room before a few years ago with my family, but we didn't make it out. So my boyfriend, who had never done an escape room before, was determined to change that. We went with the Who Stole Mona room. Luckily, we made it out! With 7 minutes to spare hahaha. It was just the 2 of us, so I had doubts, lol! But we did it! The staff was extremely friendly, outgoing, and accomodating. Chris H and CJ made the entire experience that much better! Because of them, my boyfriend and I have decided to make this our spot! We found it very disappointing. The puzzles and codes to work through have essentially nothing to do with the story you are supposed to be in. We had chosen the Mansion Murder game. I would recommend a different Escape Room company that has better thought-out storylines and puzzles. read more

I really love puzzle games and video games so of course I also love escape rooms! We were intrigued by the Star Trek room that escapology was offering and signed up! I think that overall the level of difficulty was pretty average I wish it was actually a bit more difficult than it was. Our team of six ended up escaping with 19 minutes to spare. I made reservations online, which was the best option! There are multiple time slots and more than a few games to choose from. We chose to do The Hangover with a party of 5. The environment walking in was very neat. Comfort and quiet. There were a few games you could play while waiting for your reservation. Definitely would've been cool to add in a small bar with a minimum drink ticket. ( my suggestion of course) The host brought us in, the room. He explained everything clearly. Quick instructions popped up while in the first room. Everyone must have some means of participation! It makes it all the more fun! We got through all four 3 rooms. We literally were about to finish the game and our time ran out. We only had two more steps and we would've made it! Ultimately it was a fantastic date night and can't wait to do it again. My husband and I absolutely LOVE this place!! We often go to escape rooms and try to beat the hardest rooms! We have visited Escapology at least 3 times already. Our most recent visit was for the 7 Deadly Sins room. We loved the theme and the puzzles! We had barely 8 seconds left from escaping due to certain pieces not being pushed back but we were really happy to have escaped! The hints were extremely helpful at times. Every time we get a new room I am just amazed at how intricate every element is in each escape. The service here is amazing and we have had only great service here! I have really enjoyed my experiences with the other Escapology location in town and was excited when a friend booked us a room at this new location. As expected, the design of the facility itself is top-notch and our room (Vegas Hangover) was decorated well. However, the service aspects of our visit did not meet the expectations set by experiences at the other location. We ultimately made it out of our room, but struggled along the way. Hints and nudges are available, but staff were not attentive to giving them out when needed. The canned, premade tips on screen were often irrelevant to what we were working on and it was clear that our game master was not watching what we were doing. I hate to keep comparing locations, but the lack of audio to be able to effectively communicate with our game master really prevented them from helping us very much. That said, my friend has been here before and said that her experiences as this location are usually much better- so perhaps it just had to do with the particular staffing issues that day. I do recommend the Vegas Hangover room- the premise is that you wake up after a wild night and have lost your friend's wedding rings and need to find them in a mobster's penthouse. One of the puzzles toward the end of the room is borderline broken and despite knowing what to do and how to do it, we easily spent a good 5-7 minutes literally wrestling with the actual puzzle in order to unlock it and move on- and we only got out with 1:13 to spare so yeah, it really does matter. The storyline was fun and we had a good time figuring it out along the way, but certain aspects need more streamlining and attention to detail. TIPS: They do have Groupons available, and once you've completed a room you will also get discounts on additional rooms. Also, don't forget to check in on your Yelp app for a free hint. This place is impressive! Their prices were reasonable (plus 20% off for military discount!!) There were riddle games in the waiting room which was a cool way to bond/start our experience. We signed up for "Who stole the Mona Lisa" and overall, it was challenging but fun with the best ending ever!! We had a lot of laughs and even some hostile moments in my group (LOL) Selena and Jacob took excellent care of us. This place also gives you a cute complimentary picture at the end. Took my son 8 year old son to the Scooby Doo room. It started out pretty good. I was mostly just letting him solve the puzzles on his own. Then suddenly out of nowhere the game ended and all the lights came on and the employee came in. I guess our time was up. The girl said we were close but we probably needed 5 more minutes. I asked if someone else was coming in after us and she said no. So I said why not just let us finish the last puzzle instead of ending the game and she just said "yeah I wish." Son was frustrated and upset to get that far and then basically get kicked out of the room. It really doesn't make much sense.... It's a kids room, just let the kids have fun and finish. The timers for the game room are in the first part of the room, not in the 2nd & 3rd area. Understandable that this is a business and is there to make money. No problem with that. My opinion is that the policy of not letting a team finish the room even though the time has run out is a bad policy and ruins the experience. It's like watching 90% of a movie and then it gets turned off and told to leave. I would suggest scheduling an extra 10 or 15 minutes to let teams finish even if they didn't "beat the clock." With the current policy, we would not be back because after all who wants to go back to an experience for their kids when they leave sad and disappointed? read more

While in Vegas we decided to knock out some escape rooms. At this location we completed Vegas Hangover - 2 experienced 2 newbies - pretty linear room however still seemed to be enough to keep everyone involved - we escaped in 37:49 with a nudge that made one of our placers facepalm. If we had given ourselves the time to think it through we would have got there I'm sure. This is a good beginner room if you ask me, lots of fun and not too elaborate/difficult. Our game master Justin and Game Host Steph were great for the minimal interaction we required. The booking online is a pain but the manager (I forget his name, sorry!) was great in helping me do it via phone. read more
