Came here on a Friday afternoon. Staff were super friendly from beginning to end with taking our order at the register and asking if we needed anything else. We tried their Chicken Tinga Tostada, Elote Mexicano and Braised beef quesadilla. The chicken was juicy with the sauce served over the fried tostada. The corn was slightly cheesy but could have benefited from a squeeze of lime overtop. The quesadilla had a wonderful grill on it and the meat was so flavorful. Overall, it's a beautiful small establishment with lots of mom and pap flare. Would love to come again and get another quesadilla or try one of their many other items.

Food - 5/5 We got the esquite, al pastor tacos, carne asada tacos, birria tacos, and al pastor quesadillas. As a Californian, I've really missed good Mexican food, which is a big "missing" in Boston. I especially enjoyed the al pastor - great flavor and texture. Salsa is bomb too - nice and smokey! Ambiance - 4/5 The restaurant is small and doesn't have indoor seating. Definitely brings you home to California or any other place with Mexican food. Service - 5/5 Service is fast and staff is friendly and warm. They mainly speak Spanish, so be prepared to whip out your Spanish food lingo. Other notes: 1. There is paid street parking that's easily accessible right next to the restaurant. 2. The beach is half a block down if you want to find a place to eat.

My comfort food is the Pub Nachos - very good sharing size. My partner loves the quesadillas, although sometimes the meat can make it messy or harder to eat. We have regularly ordered takeout from here over the past year. It is a very cutely decorated and small storefront in Revere, steps away from the beach and T-stop. Parking is also fairly available all days around early evening, with meters directly in front of the store. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even when there are delays or concerns. There have been network connection issues in the past with online/mobile orders, and a few cases of the store being very smoky inside from poor ventilation.

So I called to place an order and I guess that they had just stopped taking orders, but then the lady told me that because I was only ordering something small that she would squeeze me in so anyways I went inside the store like not even 10 minutes later, and my food was ready then I decided to grab a drink when I grabbed the drink and tried to open it the drinkfell on the floor and it went everywhere. The young lady working there was so nice. She cleaned up the drink even though I offered to and she even gave me a whole new drink for free. Their customer service is amazing. The food is amazing. I just want to say thank you for always consistently providing great food and customer service. I'll definitely be back. Also I live like 20 minutes away so when I got home, my food was still nice and hot and it tasted amazing. I got the fish tacos. I'll definitely be back.

Authentic Mexican food in an up and coming neighborhood. My only issue here is that the person behind the counter couldn't hear too well. I had to repeat my order 5 times. Must get the elope loco!

One of my favorite Mexican places for takeout. My fiancé discovered this place on door dash and we've been ordering from here ever since. The quesadillas are great, the esquite (essentially street corn) is unbelievable, and the birria tacos are very good! I haven't had anything I don't like. AND it's always so quick when we order.

I go to this place a lot. Everything I've had so far, tastes amazing! My go-to here is Carne En Chile Colorado (Braised Beef), I always ask for extra spicy. It has consistently been good. There's definitely consistency in the taste and I've come to this place no less than 30 time since it's close to my work. Shrimp Burrito is another item that tastes great. I'm pretty good at taking picture of my food but as soon as the food comes I forget about it BECAUSE IT REALLY THAT GOOD! I definitely recommend!

I love this little spot on Shirley Ave in Revere, MA. Before this restaurant, I had never had Mexican Street Corn (esquite means Mexican Corn Salad). I never liked corn as a child, and I am from Iowa lol, but WOW, the way they prepare their corn on the cob with the different options of spices and cotija cheese.. a MUST try! For lunch, I love to run over to this spot and get the side of rice and beans. To me, this is an entire meal for only $5.00. The prices here are very reasonable, the food is delicious, good quality, and lots of variety - pork, chicken, fish tacos, roasted vegetables to list the main dish core ingredients then a huge variety of options and sides. The restaurant is clean, very well kept up and painted with amazing art on the walls. I think it's best to get it to go as there are only a few counter height seats along the window (3 or 4).

Remember that Simpsons where Homer wanted to gain 100 pounds to qualify for disability? He should have just come here because all I want is to eat everything here all the time. If you liked the Elote cart they had before this (and still have) you will not be disappointed. Came here with my super hot and real vegetarian girlfriend and she loved her food.

The owner of my favorite food truck (Eloti roasted corn) opened this Mexican street food biz that I was dying to try. It was worth it! We had the pollo mole and cubana tortas and a slice of tres leches. All were the best that I've ever had! The mole was proper/authentic and the bits of chicken breast meat tender, it was a party in your mouth! The Cuban sandwich had fried ham, carnitas and chorizo, the sauce really pulled it together. Interestingly the bread used on each sandwich was different and it's texture matched its ingredients. The tres leches was moist and simply textbook fantastic. The owners were super nice and shared that it was grandma's mole recipe, etc. The store was very clean and the credit card monitor was wiped down after I used it-ie they are following Covid protocols. I can't wait to try more items!

We also tried the Seco De Cabrit, which is Peruvian lamb stew. You get stewed lamb meat with beans and rice. If you love lamb stew, this is a hearty dish to try. After making a reservation, the three of us arrived shortly after noon to find the restaurant completely empty. In fact, there were no staff in sight. After calling toward the kitchen, a waitress appeared, and we seated ourselves. After ordering waters and iced teas, we looked over the extensive menu and chose: * Ay Caramba! ($16) - A vegetarian tapa packed with corn, peppers, spinach, mushrooms, and more. * Margherita Pizza ($18) - Garlic confit, fresh basil, vine-ripened tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella. * Panko-Crusted Baked Haddock ($32) - Served with roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a white wine cream reduction. The Ay Caramba! was the standout dish of the meal. It was flavorful, with a great texture, and easily our favorite. The Margherita pizza featured a very thin, crisp crust with fresh tomatoes and a light touch of sauce, making for a good but not exceptional pizza. Opinions on the haddock were mixed--one diner enjoyed it, while another thought it had a slightly fishy taste. The restaurant itself has a pleasant, inviting atmosphere, and once service began, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked on us several times throughout the meal. Last night we decided to dine in, the service was one of the worst we've had from this place. Our server was distracted and we repeated our order to her 3 times. I understand if you are distracted and can't perform your job effectively. I ordered a drink (hibiscus vodka) and when she made my first drink it had no vodka in it. No biggie but for a drink i'm paying $15 for, there better be vodka in it (which is a separate drink from the non alcoholic one) I asked her to remake the drink with vodka and she gave me the exact same drink (again, different from the drink with 0 alcohol) with a shot of vodka. When we paid our tab we noticed that we never got 2 rolls we ordered. Avocado and cucumber and one california roll. We asked the server (different girl) and she said that the cook made two california rolls, which is completely fine if you guys said you made it then cool, but where was it on my plate?????. When i asked her about my drink being charged $14 + $8.95 for a shot of vodka she told me that i should be glad tha i was charged $6 instead of $7 for the drink she usually would've charged. But that didn't reflect on the bill mathematically. when we were walking out to our car, disappointed by the service from our original server, she (the original server) CHASED US OUT TO OUR CAR. and she said "excuse me you didn't tip?" and i said "i'm sorry? tipping is optional and i don't think you did a great job serving us" and she said "it's not my fault you ordered the wrong thing" and i said "okay listen, i'm not going to tip because i didn't think your service was good, plus we had to repeat ourselves multiple times and you were rude." and she kept going on and arguing with me about a tip. and i told her "this is not okay, thank you. you have a good night, good bye" and as i walked away i can hear her under her breath saying "oh my god" my fiancé laughed because we just couldn't believe she was demanding a tip for awful service and hospitality. I understand if you work a job where you rely on tips to make a livable wage, trust me i've been there. but it's absolutely ridiculous knowing this information, being an awful server and STILL demanding a tip. tipping is optional ESPECIALLY when the service was awful. we are usually big tippers but this kind of attitude and service coming from a server that is i supposed to be friendly, hospitable and NICE (because it's literally the bare minimum part your JOB DESCRIPTION) we will refuse to tip and reward negative behavior.
