Please give yourself a favor and go to In-N-Out for a better meal. We had an early dinner on Mother's Day. It wasn't crowded with plenty of seating. My wife asked for her burger to be well done and emphasized doesn't want to see any blood or pink in the center to the waitress. Her burger came pink. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she didn't give us any options. She brought us a 10 gift card. When we asked for more than this, the manager ignored us. We spend around $180 for 4 people. First of all, I don't write a lot of reviews but feel like people should know about my experience. I've lived in Aliso Viejo many years and finally got the opportunity to try Eureka. I ordered two burgers and fries and got Take Out. I was told via email to pick up my order at 6:45pm. When I arrived (6:50pm), I was told it was almost ready, "Only 5 more minutes they are just packing it up." At 7:20pm, I was finally given my order. When I got home, my order wrong and the food was cold. I paid $50 for cold food and was lied to when I arrived. I understand things happen at a restaurant (I used to be a server); however, I would've preferred honesty instead of cold food. One and done for me at Eureka unfortunately. Not sure if they food would've been good since I had to heat it up in my microwave. Bummer. :( read more

I had a bit of a rough experience with a delivery order, but the managers of the restaurant handled it so great. Great resturaunt. Food was great I've been here multiple times. The poke nachos are great, along with the chicken nachos. The honey Brussels sprouts were amazing. Fro drinks I had 1 of the headhunter king rum drinks, (only 2 per guest) and it was delicious and boozy. Also tried watermelon hibiscus drink and it was good. I loved the fireplace in the middle of the patio, ambience was great. Service was great as well. Might be one of the best resturaunts in Aliso! My new favorite spot!! read more

Updated review. I went back to give it another chance per Loren the managers request. There was a wait but got seated in the time frame that was stated. Our server Hannah came up to us very quickly and started our drink order. The food was brought out in a timely manner and was very good. Definitely a lot better than the last time we were here. Definitely more of a manager presence and more staff. Thank you again a to Loren for being so attentive. Loved sitting on the patio with the water behind us also. read more

Where do I start? The interior of this restaurant is first class and inviting. The patio is spacious with a beautiful fire pit illuminating the night. Came here for dinner on a Thursday night and it was quite busy! The ambience inside is beautiful with low-lit old-school light bulbs and semicircle booths lining the walls. Had our dinner here with coworkers. Location is great. we took an uber to get here, but they have a big parking space inside the plaza. the server is really nice, but im just not a fan of their food selection. i had Cauliflower Bites and Mac N Cheese bites for app thats not so bad, then I ordered Hand Breaded Fried Chicken tenders, i think the chicken is full of breading and not so much meat... the ambiance is a little loud but it didnt really bother me. read more

Although this place was delicious I ordered a burger medium well and it came out super bloody and they forgot my mac and cheese bites that I ordered to go so I had to drive all that way back. They then gave me a side of Mac balls (3) instead of the 5 that I ordered as an appetizer. This is a friendly reminder to always check your bag before you leave. Came here with Y Mom & Uncle for dinner service.. booked a reservation on line and were seated immaculately. Luke warm table water, no ice was given, had to ask for ice. Uncle had an Arnold Palmer and I tried the watermelon hibiscus Fresca. Both are good. Had French fries as our appetizer while we ordered our food... Mom had the ribs $26 I had the French Dip-$22 Uncle had Salmon over iceberg lettuce salad-$22 My mom salad had no dressing, ribs are smothered in sauce and meat fell off the bone. Uncles salmon was a good size and liked the whole thing. The French Dip was OK.. nothing to brag about. I've had better. Not very big(see pic).. the roast beef was dry, not even pink in color, like it was well done. And the Aujui broth was bland and separated after it cooled down... had to add salt & pepper to it.. but the Mac n cheese balls are bomb.. we sat out on the patio because with an enclosed room with 75 people, it's a yelling competition just to hear the people at your table..., but outside on the patio isn't that much better.. Hint! Open some windows or add sound absorbing walls.. and tell the families with 5+ kids to keep it down... The burger melted in your mouth and the fish and chips was piping hot and not fishy. The whiskey flight our server recommended was a huge hit. She was great and my new favorite server. I actually had to create an account to finally review a business because this was so bad. My husband and I were seated instantly. We sat at our table for about 15 minutes. Nobody came to check on us, or even just bring water. A few other tables were filled while we sat literally at the front of the outdoor seating. The couple next to us had a waitress (presumably ours) check on them 2x, and then brought the couple next to them who were seated after us water and told them she'd be right back. Walked right past us, and we decided it was time to go. As we walked out a friendly hostess said bye and thanked us for coming. I told her "thank you, but nobody helped us!" Her jaw dropped, and she said "nobody helped them!!" and we left. Pretty boring story, but memorable experience. I guess my in laws, and a few other friends have sworn off this place because of the same issues. Oh well. I'll have to find truffle fries elsewhere. Ordered the Fish and Chips and used the nifty 'upgrade' feature on their menu to get Mac'n'Cheese balls instead of the fries since that side dish interested me. The batter in the fish was light which I enjoy since a lot of other places drown the fish in batter and you can't taste it. Not the case here! Service was fast despite the busy dinner rush and no mistakes in my order.
