Eureka! This is a great word for a restaurant because it means "a cry of joy or satisfaction when one discovers something." This restaurant has been on my to go to list for some time because of its location, it's industrial/rustic energy, and the galore of food and drinks. The service was impeccable. We were served by Alissa, who was very aware of the menu, what each dish offers, as well as the difference in tastes between the beers. The food was delicious and nicely presented. My husband and I split two dishes (the ahi dish and double stacked burger) which was delicious and not too heavy. Seemed like they had clean flavors and use quality ingredients. We had a wonderful lunch here with the in laws. We sat on there lovely patio and had terrific service. Eureka is pretty consistent no matter which location you choose. Both food and service is typically good. Great selection of beers as well. We had great food here. Pastrami quesadilla-high marks. Pulled pork sandwich and fish tacos- solid. Great French fries! Our server Ethan was nice and attentive. However, it did take a while for us to get situated with two toddlers. We waited a while for High chairs to come and All said it was about 10 to 15 minutes before they actually took our order. The ribeye cheesesteak sandwich was pretty good, but pretty salty. We also got the fish and chips which is basically two giant fish sticks and fries. The kids tray came with your typical chicken strips and a ton of fries. This place definitely gives you a lot of french fries if that's your dig. First time here. Tried their happy hour. Ordered the spicy crispy sandwich and burger and upgraded the fries to truffle fries. Also ordered chicken nachos. The chicken nachos are pretty healthy for being nachos. Wasn't greasy at all. It does have a sweet glaze on the nachos if you're into that. Wish they used cheese sauce as well but only shredded cheese. The burger was made medium rare. It was pretty good. I ate it without the bun to keep the carbs out. Same with the spicy crispy sandwich. Super duper crispy. The chicken was pretty good by itself. It comes with pickles and coleslaw and spicy sauce spread. It's very wet so eat it fast, or it may get soggy quickly. The food wasn't bad. I don't think I'd come back unless they were only place open late. The opening late was why we went. Service was excellent. Very nice and attentive. Very accommodating. Wanted to watch a baseball game with some good food while visiting Palm Desert. Was happy to Come across Eureka. We had really tasty meal. My friend ordered avocado toast and she loved it. I ordered the oriental chicken salad and it was really very good. The dressing was perfect. I would have liked some more mandarin and wonton strips (really crisp and flavorful) but was overall pretty happy with my meal. I had also ordered a ginger ale type soda and it was really fresh ginger and a little on the spicy side but really tasty and fresh. I would definitely recommend that if you enjoy the taste of Ginger. We also shared a slice of the bourbon chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and I can highly recommend that dessert with a cup of coffee The restaurant itself had a cozy feel and a big patio area with cooling misters. Update: My boyfriend and I decided to come to Eureka on New Years day for lunch! He forgot his wallet so lunch was on me that day. Max was our server and he was very attentive during our entire time there. I ordered a cider which tasted very sweet but a nice change from the ipa's I normally order.My boyfriend got a coke which is also a good choice. We both were feeling chicken so he got the chicken tenders and I got the spicy chicken sandwich. Whoever was in charge of the fryer made the chicken extra crispy which was very good! Ordered the double smash burger with truffle cheese fries. The burger came and it looked and smelled good - the only problem is... it wasn't a smash burger. Both patties were much thicker than your typical smashed burger patty, which should typically be flat, thin, and crispy on the edges in order to qualify as a smash burger. This was more of a standard cheeseburger that you grill up for the gang in your backyard on a warm sunny weekend. It tasted decent, but I was still somewhat disappointed overall with the fact that I was expecting a glorious smashed patty burger. The truffle cheese fries were okay - I did not expect the fries to come with a ton of cheese whiz-like sauce which I wasn't really a fan of. I managed to finish the burger but I did leave some fries (which I usually don't do if I love the food) because the sauce became too much for me. Aside from the food, the service was great and the staff were all kind and helpful. And because of that, I would still come back to grab a beer and try a different burger or maybe a chicken sandwich as their menu is pretty extensive. read more

This is my first time at this Eureka location, and it was a great experience. I was able to make a reservation for 13 people the day before and had no issues. The staff was attentive and we were seated pretty quickly for lunch. It wasn't super packed so we were able to hear our own conversations clearly which was nice. I got the fish tacos because they were more of the macro friendlier option (summer time is almost here! lol) and they were great! I'd order them again. A good staple for me at Eureka is also the nachos. My favorite drink here is probably the wild child. read more

This place is a solid happy hour option! At 9pm on a friday it was bustling with people and the deals are solid considering the quality. We got two burgers, an artichoke dip, and an industry margarita. The burgers were solid, nothing too special but still hits the spot for $12. The bread that accompanied the dip was too hard it felt like a crouton but the dip itself tasted good. I wish it was a little hotter since it came out lukewarm but still delicious. Fig burger was an interesting mix of arugula, goat cheese and fig jelly. Tasty. Sweet potato fries are almost a dessert, sprinkled with cinnamon and honey. Unfortunately, the fries were overcooked, taking away some of the joy. Artichoke dip is served with sliced baguette and thick chips with a center of a Brie cheese. Very enjoyable. Jalepeno egg burger was a nice mix of spice and salt. Favorite were the Mac and cheese bites. Well cooked with a light spice due to the red Fresno chilies inside the ball. One quirk - you have to hunt for the food l, drink and happy hour info on three to four different (and differently sized) menus. The staff was very helpful and accommodating despite the rewards app malfunctioning on me. The cake was super delicious. The texture was almost like a brownie. The chocolate sauce was divine and the whipped cream with sea salt flakes elevated the entire dessert. Giving a second chance with Eureka, I got a takeout order of the 28-day dry-aged bone marrow burger and a steak salad. With the order placed on a weekday afternoon, the food was ready pretty quickly. Both the burger and salad tasted good, and the portions were definitely big enough for me to share with my family. The burger was an amazing medley of all flavors of the bone marrow shiitake butter, grilled onion, and the roasted tomato, and didn't feel chaotic at all. The fries that came along with the burger were also so hot and crispy, even after I drove 20 minutes home! The steak on the steak salad was unfortunately undercooked so that it was tough and chewy. The burger was a decent size, and it satisfied my burger cravings. The burger wasn't the juiciest, but it wasn't dry either. It was still well-cooked, and I enjoyed it. The bun was supposed to be Parmesan crusted, but I didn't taste any Parmesan. I don't typically like regular fries, but I did enjoy the truffle cheese fries. I would have loved for there to be more cheese over it! The service was ok. I didn't get any water until the food came out, and it took a little while for us to get the check. This was my first time trying Eureka and I really enjoyed my experience here! The staff here was so nice and accommodating, a bit slow, but they were very nice haha. This place was a lot nicer than I imagined too, so it is a great spot to enjoy a date night or catch up with your friends for some drinks. We ordered the hamburger with bone marrow and the cowboy burger to share. Both tasted really good! I personally may lean towards the one with bone marrow because of how juicy and flavorful it was! Although, the fries here do seem a little "over fried" that it's too crispy and some were pretty hard. Also, I really liked how these burgers were not super greasy. The food is really good most of the time. But today I ordered delivery from Instacart. Boyohboy!!! They really blew it with packaging this order. I ordered two burgers and one chicken wings. Total of three. Upon receiving the delivery, we discovered that the tops wouldn't come off the containers because the CARELESS person who packaged our orders NEGLECTED to match up the tabs of the corners so that we were UNABLE to open them at all. When I called the restaurant, the only help was "don't you have any scissors there? Just cut open the vent on the top and try to cut the top off that way ." They wouldn't budge. Now I'm happy that I was at home and I could find a decent pair of scissors. Even so, it was very difficult to cut through that hard plastic because I almost cut myself on those sharp edges twice. But imagine that if we had ordered this take out to go, and eat somewhere at a remote place like a concert or picnic or something where scissors would've been available. I'm not sure how we could access the food unless someone in our party had a pocket knife or similar. Except you know that at the gate of a concert, the metal detector would have stopped this immediately. So, just to say this, that their attitude needs to be more polite and understanding. Steak salad 6.61/10- this was really good however the steak was a bit dry and not hot. The salad also had a lot of dressing and the portion is so much smaller than what it used to be. The blue cheese gives the salad a sweet and also savory taste to it which is nice.
