I have taken my car to the Euro Collision in Skokie in the past with good results, but after my most recent experience, I will not be going back. It all started on July 2, 2022 when I was involved in a car accident. I asked them to tow my car to Euro Collision, as it is close to where I live and, as mentioned above, I have had good results in the past. The car was towed over on to Euro on July 8th and their initial estimate was that it would be ready on August 3rd. Although my insurance only paid for my rental car through July 29th, I figured I could make do without my car for a little less than a week. Euro Collision provided me with a phone number for a text update service which would let me know how the car was progressing. I received the following updates from the text service: * 7/18/22 - "the repair on your Toyota is underway. Your vehicle is on track to be completed on 8/03." * 7/25/22 - "We are over the halfway mark! Your Toyota is still on target for 08/03." * 7/26/22 - "We are on track Mark, for 08/03/2022." * 7/29/22 - "Hi Mark, we are nearing completion. If we encounter any delays, we'll call you." I received no more text updates prior to August 3rd, so I assumed my car would be ready to go on that date. I gave them on call on August 3rd and was told that my car was delayed and now would be ready on August 12. I received a text update on August 4th stating the same thing. No big deal, I could wait another 9 days to get my car. So, I waited until August 12th and gave Euro Collision a call to arrange pick up on my car. Again, I was told that my car was delayed and now it would not be ready until August 19th. Now I'm starting to get frustrated, I needed my car for a trip downstate on August 23rd. So, I call Euro Collision on August 17, 18, 19th and 22nd, trying to get a straight answer from them as to when my car would be ready and I'm finally told, on the 22nd, that it will not be ready until the 25th. I end up having to rent another car for my trip downstate. By now you probably see where this is going. I call on August 25th and am told it will not be ready until August 31st. The text updates stop and I call them regularly and am told my car is being assembled and should be ready by the following Wednesday. I call on that Wednesday and am told it will be another week. This goes on throughout most of September. I am able to negotiate with my contact at Euro collision to reimburse me (out of the insurance deductible) for my car rentals during this time and, when the deductible runs out, they agree to pay for a rental until my car is fixed, but I am beyond frustrated at this point. Finally, my contact tells me that the car has been assembled and they just need to do an alignment and it will be ready on September 23rd. However, just when I think my car will finally be ready, they pull the rug out from under me again. My contact calls me at 3 pm on September 23rd to inform me that, during the test drive, the hood flew up and was damaged and they will have to replace it, thereby pushing it back another week. Although I find it hard to believe that a reputable repair shop could allow such a thing to happen, what can I do at this point? So, I had to wait another week and, finally, I am able to pick up my car on September 28th. Overall, while the long wait to get my car repaired was frustrating, what really frustrated me was constantly being told that my car would be ready on a certain day only to call on that day and be told that it would take another week. If this had happened once or twice, I would probably understand, but the fact that it happened several times, makes me think that either they had no idea when it would be ready or they knew it would take a long time and just didn't want to tell me, as they were afraid of losing out on a big insurance payout. In either case, I think it is a dishonest way of doing business. If you know that it is going to take over 60 days to complete repairs, the customer should be informed of that. At least then they can check around and see if some other place can complete the repairs more quickly. Stringing along a customer for almost two months is a crappy way of doing business and, for that reason, I will no longer be using Euro Collision for any car repairs. read more

I cannot express how delighted I was to find Euro Collision. One reviewer said that this place is a "throwback" and I think that's so. It is a place where people want to help you and know that you are the client. They could not have been nicer, kinder, or done a better job. I had never had an accident before (I'm in my 60s) until a very nice Mexican man without a license hit my car. We were both going slowly, but the damage to my Volkswagen GTI was substantial - more than $7000. I was stunned and upset. My car was only a year old, I had just paid it off, and I was sure it would never be the same. My insurance company suggested several places - all of which sounded terrible when I researched them online. When I expressed concern, they suggested Euro Collision, saying that they are VW Certified. From the first moment I talked to any of the many Euro Collision employees I got to know over a week and a half, i knew I was in good hands. A battery of very smart women answer phones and manage your car issues. It doesn't matter who you talk to - they're all helpful, knowledgeage, nice, kind. Amanda, Giselle and several others know about cars and are helpful and upbeat. Amanda in particular was really quite wonderful. In addition, I not only spoke to Aquell a few times, he drove my car to my house even though I live at 6700 on the north side and Euro Collision is at 2300 on the south side. I had a complex scheme for returning my rental car and getting to the south side that involved several different forms of transportation and about 2 hours of travel time. Then Aquell said he'd be happy to drive my car to my house for me. He could not have been nicer and told me several times to call him if I have any issues at all. Overall, I cannot believe Euro Collision's work ethic and the high quality of the work itself. My car looks like new and drives well. I recommend them unequivocably. The people who work at Euro Collision are very smart, nice, they understand how to do exceptional work, and know how to treat human beings like human beings - with kindness and care. Thank you Euro Collision. I would send anyone there and will go again myself if I ever have any further problems. And, ps, my brother is a very picky mechanic is Detroit. He went over everything with a fine tooth comb and was happy with it - including the bill. read more

after going to antoher body shop in chicago that could'nt get step one right.....i went to e/c. it is right around the corner form my work and i see alot of cars in and out all the time. upon driving in i as met by raul, he was very accomadating. from the very first meeting he was on top of his game and assured me everything would be perfect. since my new avalanche was not even 3 months old and vandalized. someone put a scratch down the side from front to back. being black it is a very unforgiving color unless perfect. you can only imagine the feeling in my gut when i seen the damage... raul was very thorough in explaining the process and pointing out everything. the girls in the recption area were awesome, enterprize showed up and had me in a car and on my way nothing flat. later that day the calls from raul started explaining were they were on my car and how things were going. next day same thing... keeping me well informed all the way thru, instead fo the usual attitude of a body shop of dont worry about it, will let you know when it's done. raul called me noting a problem in the qaurter panel neither of us seen and made me an awesome offer to fix it...on monday he was thinking the car would be done but ran out of time, apologizing and offering to give me the car and bring it back the next day to finish it...i said nah its kewl. on tuesday there was the call by lunch saying its done ready to pickup. upon returning form my trip i went there, paid the bill, waited not even 5 min and there was raul with my car. washed up looking perfect. we went over it, explainig what they did, answering questions concenrs i had, making sure everything was right...telling em any problmes come see me we will take care of it.. trust me for a black avalanche which has massive sides to it, u could'nt tell they touched it as repairs go. i could not be happier. for not having an appt to the finshed product, i highly recommend this shop. they have the positive can do attitude to get the job done right the first time. so if your looking for a body shop that you can be comfortable giving your car to euro collision is the place!!!!! read more

My 1998 Honda Civic's driver door wouldn't open from inside or outside. I had to climb over the console from the passenger side. Embarrassing! Through an internet search, I found out this was an anomaly many Civic and Accord owners experienced. Yikes! A visit to an air emissions test facility ended shortly when a technician told me he couldn't complete the test if the driver door was inaccessible. Crap! I have to renew my registration by the end of this month. I NEED to complete the air emissions test. I took my car to a couple of auto body places for repair estimate. One shop told me my car was too old and too time-consuming to resolve. They gave me a $950 quote for door replacement. Eek! Another shop diagnosed my car upon further inspection and told me I needed a latch assembly replacement, but parts would be difficult to find and that I should replace the door. I was not a happy camper. My guy asks me, "What about that place around the corner from Chef Luciano?" I respond, "Yeah, I'll try them!" I called Euro Collision and spoke to Arianna. I asked her if they work on old vehicles, like from 1998, she stated, "We work on all kinds of vehicles." I start to perk up a bit. I tell her about my door situation and she tells me to bring the car in. I did. I was introduced to my agent, Jon. Too make a long story short, the repair techs successfully removed the driver door panel, identified the problem, and upon my consent, ordered and replaced a couple of internal parts to restore door operation at a major cost savings. I picked my car up yesterday and headed straight to an air emissions test facility. I passed! Yay! Overall, my customer service experience with Euro Collision went above my expectations--from the friendly front desk to the assigned personable facilitating agent to the top-knotch repair tech team. I received quality service and workmanship. The upscale office interior design decor also added to a pleasant ambiance. read more

I recently had my BMW serviced at Euro Collision and it was by far the best car maintenance center I have ever been to. The work was absolutely perfect and it was completed in only 1 day. Before Euro Collision, the only place I have taken my BMW to is Perillo (which is also amazing by the way, but Euro Collision is equally great). I was referred to Euro Collision by my car insurance for bumper repair. I was so impressed by the service I received, I decided to have another repair for a small dent in my door from when another driver opened their door too wide and hit me (it happens when you live in the city). I was quoted $300 about a year ago to have the dent fixed at Perillo but Euro Collision only charged about $100 and the dent is GONE! Perfect work, looks like nothing every happened to my door or my bumper. The day before I took my BMW to Euro Collision to be repaired, my car had a service notification for an oil change. Euro Collision noticed my car was due for service and they informed me they were an authorized BMW maintenance provider (which is obvious because the entire garage is filled with luxury cars and imports, including the owner's BMW). Since my 4 year maintenance plan with BMW expired this summer, I would have had to pay about $200 at Perillo for the oil change...but Euro Collision only charged me about $70 and they took care of everything including oil, filter changes, etc. And since they are BMW certified, my car's electronic settings were also adjusted so the computer will know when my next service appointment is due. Amazing amazing amazing! I registered on Yelp only so I could write this review. My car is my baby and I take amazing care of it. I will go to Euro Collision for everything in the future. This is absolutely THE best place to go if you are obsessed with your car and want the job done BETTER than right. Based on reviews and word of mouth, I decided to take my beloved Acura to Euro Collision after a little run-in I had with a cement pillar. The estimate took about 6 minutes and was then explained to me what work was needed and the time needed for repair. I made an appointment for the next week, dropped the car off, and Euro Collision dropped me off where I needed to be for the day. Very helpful. Three days later, as promised, they called to say my car was ready. I was working until 9pm that night and couldn't make it back to the city before they closed, so the general manager dropped my car off to me at work! I've never heard of service like that, ever, but the guys at Euro Collision went out of their way to make sure I was happy and that my car was returned to me on the day promised. Very impressive. When they pulled up outside my work, my car looked outstanding! It had been detailed inside and out, waxed, and looked better than the day I drove it off the lot. The areas they repaired (the huge deep scrapes along the side of my car) were no longer visible and were blended perfectly - completely undetectable that any damage had been done, or repaired, at all. I was really very impressed with the workmanship and the professionalism of this group. I will definately recommend them to all my friends and will no longer hesitate to whip around cement pillars in my parking garage ever again. :) Thanks Euro Collision!! READ ON FOR THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!! I feel that I can review this business because my father owned a Auto body shop for 35 years. I ran that business for 13 years, I wrote estimates and supervised body repair and paint. My father retired two years ago, so now when I get into a fender bender, I have to find a shop! I was very nervous because I know that there is a lot of bad guys out there, especially in that industry. Many of the large shops use cheap labor, guys right out school with zero experience. I can advise to always trust a smaller shop for the best quality work. I knew that Euro Collision always had a great reputation, So I took my wrecked car and my sob story over there on a Saturday morning. The place is kind of hidden, but woth the search for sure. I wanted to see their operation and someof their work. I think their estimator picked up on my vibe and asked if I wanted to see some of his paint work. He showed me the car that were done, and that was all it took...it was flawless! I asked a ton of questions about the type of repairs that would be done to my vehicle. He wrote and estimate and it was perfectly fair, I agreed with everything he wrote, and I have written hundreds of auto damage estimates! I picked up my car in record time, and it was flawless...(trust me I checked every detail) I am a very happy with my car fixed...and they even vacuumed the inside and washed it for me!. I recently got into an accident and needed a good place to get my car fixed. As I someone who uses Yelp as a service to help lead me in the right direction whereever I go, I decided this would be my best bet here as well. As I drove over to the area, I was thinking this might be a beat down body shop When I pulled up, the receptionist greeted me with a warm welcome. Very upscale waiting area with free refreshments. As you go through there waiting area they have a door looking into their Body shop. I was very impressed to see them working on a Lamborghini Aventador and a Couple of Bentley,s.Their estimator went through all the damage with me he could visibly see and explained the process of working with my insurance company and showing me what I could expect. After he inspected the car he quickly wrote me an estimate and told me what I needed to do to work things out with my insurance as well if I decided to choose him. Having reviewed Euro Collision on Yelp and a couple of my friend,s recommendation I am glad that I went with their services. They completed the car in a weeks time and it looks better than new! My experience with Euro Collisions was nothing short of amazing. I own a Lexus LS 460 that was in need of bumper repair for several ugly dings. Once I arrived at Euro I was very surprised with the waiting area, it was extremely clean with refreshments for customers and comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and professional and I didn't feel pressured by a big sales pitch when receiving my quote. I made an appointment to bring my car in and was given a complete date. Euro sent updates every step along the process to inform me where they were regarding the repair. GEICO recommended this shop on 2 occasions for repairs. Recently my Lexus RX 350 was damaged due to concrete droppings from construction of a high rise building next to our private parking lot. The damage was so extensive that it required my vehicle to be completely repainted. I got my truck back today and it looks like I just bought it new. Euro Collision does excellent work, they partner with Enterprise to pick up a rental car on the spot and all of the folk working there are very nice and professional. Jon Ralis waited for me to come pick my car up because he wanted to see my reaction to the finished product -- then he asked me if I was going to sell my truck anytime soon because it has very low miles and it's 10 years old! WOW! This car repair shop is amazing! I'm so happy Geico, my car insurance, referred me here. My car was in shop for a total of 10 days. Every employee there was polite. They all greeted me. They work swiftly with a purpose to ensure all customers are in and out. I had to pleasure of having Albion over my repairs. He made sure my car was beyond exceptional prior to handing my keys back to me. My car was washed and the interior was cleaned prior to me picking it up. The day of pickup, it was expected to hail outside and they brought my vehicle back inside to prevent damage. They are so considerate. I was involved in an accident 2weeks ago. I was able to drive the car home and everything seemed fine until I noticed the car was leaking coolant. I had already made an appointment with Euro collision for the repairs but it wasn't until later that day that they could take my car. I called again and explained my situation and they accamodate me by letting me bring my car in early. Gaby handled my claim with the utmost professionalism, she explained everything to me and Kept in touch via email, with photos and details if what was damaged and what needed to be fixed. My vehicle was even finished 3 days early. Hopefully I'll never have to get my car repaired again but if I do, I'm taking it to Euro collision. I was referred here by a friend after my vehicle had been hit by a taxi. This was my first time being hit but they informed me on everything and made sure my mind was at ease in leaving my vehicle here. There was some damage to my bumper and when I went in Gabriela made sure that she kept me well informed on all the progress that was being done. She made sure to text me as well as call me with major updates on my vehicle. She was very helpful and extremely attentive. I dropped my car on 4/19/17 for rear-side bumper repair. I picked my car up on 4/21/17. The repair was not major, but it was important that I retrieve my car as expeditiously as possible. I was more than pleased with Jon Ralis whose customer service approach was unmatched to any customer/company interface I have experienced in a long time. His delivery of exceptional customer service lowered my anxiety/concern regarding when the work would be finished. His humorous and engaging dialogue was refreshing. As a business owner, I understand the value of good and timely service. I had a very minor car issue with the bumper on my wheel and I stopped in to Euro Collision, without an appointment. Owner Shaban not only took the time on a busy Friday afternoon to look at it for me, but also had one of his guys help put in a screw since he knew it was going to be a quick fix. He saved me time and money. I was floored by the professionalism but also compassion for clients. I will undoubtedly take my car here from now on for any issues. Wow! I was sent to Euro Collision by the insurance for the woman who hit me, so I was wary at best. Then I drove into the garage! It is so nice! The people are very friendly and helpful. They have been through this before, so they are ready for everything. They called Enterprise (down the street) for me and offered me basically any beverage in the world and had the History channel on while I waited about five minutes. When it was time to get my car back, I left the rental with them and when my car was a bit dusty from the shop, though they did wash it- I just didn't pick it up right away, they gave me a free car wash coupon without me even asking! Euro Collision is hands down the Pentagon of auto repair in Chicago. Attention to detail is their culture and u can tell just from walking in to the immaculately laid out shop. They wont even let a drop of oil hit the ground without wiping it up, now imagine your car...... I took my bmw to them after getting in an accident and my car came out better than when I bought it!!! They even did extra things to my car that they didnt need to. My car runs like a champ and you can NOT tell it was hit. This is not a Mickey Mouse body shop, if you want a quick fix, do not come here. If you want your car fixed according to manufacture specs? This is your haven!!!! read more
