Ask the Community - European Auto Center

I need both front control arms and shocks replaced for my 2007 Mercedes clk 350. How much would that cost?

Can you provide me with the vin number to the vehicle please ? Assuming this is for the front lower control arms , and the vehicle does NOT have sports suspension, using Bilstein struts, with alignment as well, parts and labor is roughly $1400.

First time customer, blown away with service…read more Quick drive thru oil change and they treat you like king! Price is super great! And on top that, they gave me $20 off coupon to use! I take my new Toyota Rav4 hybrid to the dealership for service but the dealership replaces oil every 10k miles for hybrids. They recommend every 10k but we all know it's every 5k even on hybrids. So needed just oil change. This location is right across from my house and focuses on oil change. I talked to the manager Fidel. Super nice guy, very honest and what they do and how much they charge. This place is super flexible, you can bring your own oil and/or oil filter of your choice. They charge $50+tax if you bring your own oil and filter. They take $2 off if you bring your own oil filter only. The mechanic Imari(?) did the work on my car. Amazing work and professionalism. Calls you by "Mr. LastName" and says "My pleasure". They talk to you very professionally! They show you your oil level while you wait in the car. They communicate with teammate underground professionally in a precise manner as well. Service should take like 15-20min. He even showed me my engine air filter. They top off your fluids and pump air into tires, free of charge. They provide tons of complimentary work for the price of just oil change. Best customer service. 10/10 recommend this place!! I would love to see them carry some OEM oil filters. They're not expensive ($10 on amazon for toyota) and they don't go bad. I would pay slightly more in service if they carry that.

When it came time for my mom's 20-year-old car to get an oil change, I didn't hesitate to go to Oilstop. We aren't familiar with car maintenance, but Fidel and Jessie took care of us like this car was their own. They made recommendations that helped us make the best decision, and they were very patient with us asking questions. My mom was so impressed by how quick and efficient they worked, and I was impressed by how they maintained their high customer service quality over the years. We'll definitely be back for her next oil change!

Overall, it was a "known quality" good experience, A-OKAY, and I'd endorse them and come back…read moreagain. There are some pros and cons that can be debated. This is what they call a "Drive Through" service, so you come, and there's 3 service station lanes, you pick one and it takes 15 minutes for an oil change. So, you stay in your car and wait, you don't park and set an appointment or leave to do anything else. You sit and wait from waiting through process service and finish. If you come when it's empty, it's fast and convenient. If you came and there's 3 cars ahead of you in a lane, you can assume each car represents 15 minutes and your own car takes 15 minutes, and that equates to a minimum of a 1 hour processing time from the start of your wait 'til the completion of your oil change. Maybe more as they offer other services and have to check you out with payment processing. They do their multi-point car inspection for trivial things like windshield wiper blades inspection (with potential upselling replacement installation), Air Filters, Tires, etc. - - If you're good at declining/saying "no" and not being a fear factor impulse agreeing type, you're "safe" as they are not "high pressure" sales team that uses scare tactics and are just doing their job with safety inspections. It's a business model to upsell customers, no harm, no foul common with every garage/auto service. So, their pricing is where it comes subjective. Their rate card in 2025, I believe is $57 for a regular oil/filter change, $80 for a hybrid synthetic oil/filter change, and $107 for a full synthetic oil/filter change. You'll probably never pay rate card. They offer coupons online on their own site for discounts. They have FSI (Free Standing Insert) mailers they distribute coupons. You'll see $10 off, 20% off, and various discounts of you Google search for offers. They have/had a Groupon coupon for 40% off (although the Groupon offer doesn't include sales tax and a disposal fee, so you'll have an outstanding balance beyond what you paid for the Groupon as an FYI). The bottom line is you need to do your own research in your area for the best rates if you're just looking for the cheapest oil change. Generally, oil changes for standard oil is as low as $40 and synthetic oil can be $60 and up, but that might mean driving to Gardena or further. With that, Valvoline has a FMV (fair market value) rate based on convenience and expertise. They're not an indie garage; they're a known quality company. The staff is excellent here. I called and a lady answering was so super friendly, helpful and nice. The service crew were young and very professional and polite. I don't know about their experiences and skills, but it seems like a simple oil change these days where they don't even hoist your car up on a lift and drain the oil out, but seem to stick a vacuum tube from the top dipstick pipe and suck out the old oil and then use the same to refill the new oil. I'm not sure if that rids off of the sediment that settles at the bottom or not, but I imagine it's "good enough" as they also recommend oil changes every 3,000 miles and/or 3 months as a suggestion. I used to think (and still do) that with Synthetic Oil, you can easily go 7,000+ miles and maybe even 1 year without an oil change (check your dipstick to see if the golden oil is black and has any sediment as your own DIY judgement as possible determining evidence of necessity) Sure, you could get a cheaper oil change (much as you could also pay more). The experience of the service would be harder to compare and beat 'tho as the staff here were nice. I have read peer Yelp reviews that range from * one star to * * * * * five stars, so there's no guarantee on what your experience will be, but like everything else, "do your homework" and read all of the reviews to determine if this could be the place for you. For my basic oil change it worked for me.

Wait time is over 30 minutes. No one comes to greet you while you're waiting to tell you how long…read morethe wait is. They try to upsell you on air filters and windshield wipers. Painful. Do not come here if there is anyone in front of you

From different auto shops to even dealerships -- not one place has done as an exceptional job as One Stop Lube N Brakes. I initially thought I only had one issue with my brake pads needing to be replaced, but it turned out that I needed other things to be fixed as well. They didn't take advantage and broke down step by step each issue and what I actually wanted to get fixed instead of overcharging. My entire service was done within two hours and car drives so smoothly. Having peace of mind and finding a place that you can trust with your vehicle is truly priceless. Will be coming back and recommending to all my friends/colleagues.

The very next day, my truck started leaking oil. I took it back today to have it checked, and now I'm being told that the fuel system is leaking and that it's just a coincidence that my truck suddenly has an oil leak right after they worked on it. I do not believe that at all. They also suggested that I may have hit a pothole and that this could have caused the issue, which honestly felt like another excuse to avoid taking responsibility. Nothing happened between my visit and the time the leak started. If my truck had been leaking oil before I came in, I would have been told, and it would have been noted on my invoice. There was no mention of any oil leak because there was no oil leak until after they serviced my vehicle. What's most frustrating is that they refused to take any responsibility for this situation or even consider that their service may have caused the issue. Instead, they brushed it off and offered no real help or solution. I will never return to this location and I strongly suggest others be careful. I will also be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau and taking them to small claims court. Based on my experience, I would not trust this establishment with my vehicle.
