I had a great night. Phenomenal service.. drako made me an amazing side car and over all was just a chill guy. Both him and Ethan gave me amazing food recommendations, while now I will say the food was nothing to write home about it was still good. In particular I enjoyed the creamed spinach and the drinks the most, however the deserts were also great. I had the spinalis as my choice of meat cooked medium rare, the texture and meat quality was great though the flavor was eh. And as for the Fries good flavor though they definitely need some work! Though the best part was the experience and atmosphere, very classy vibes but also laid back and kinda cozy. Keeps you comfortable but in a sort of sophisticated way, and the music choices only complimented that sort of feel. And the staff do a really good job of maintaining that by making you feel important but also cared for, the individual taking care of us, Ethan did a great job picking out food, keeping us entertained, but also just making my birthday awesome. Firstly, we were given a warm welcome by the manager Fortune, he showed us around and explained every room and every detail of the restaurant as if it was his home. He was extremely polite, friendly and well informed about Evelyn. I must say, each room was definitely designed to express Evelyn and the exquisite Old Hollywood taste she had. Secondly, we were seated in the disco room area. The music, the DJ (Flip), the ambience, the design, the creativity and thought behind this particular room was incredible! Our server Carlos was amazing, he seated us and helped put our napkins on our laps- definitely made us feel special in a unique way. He was very attentive to our needs and made sure that we were having a good time. Lastly- THE FOOD!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING! DELICIOUS! TASTEY! I can still taste the food and I'm salivating. lol. Our visit to Evelyn Dallas was extremely disappointing. We were told the bar was open seating and sat at two available chairs. A few minutes later, a woman approached claiming one of the seats was "hers" and she had been taking photos somewhere else. Before we could even respond or move, she immediately began shouting profanities and making physical threats -- including saying she would strangle me. We reported this to staff right away, expecting immediate action. Instead, we were asked to move to another bar area with no seating, while the aggressive guests were allowed to stay and finish their drinks. To make matters worse, we were eventually asked to leave, despite remaining calm and compliant throughout. The behavior we experienced was not just rude -- it was threatening and could have warranted police involvement. The fact that management chose to tolerate it rather than protect their guests is unacceptable. If this is how serious incidents are handled at Evelyn Dallas, we will not be returning -- and others should be aware. read more
