We did a takeout order from this newly opened fab place! The restaurant is conveniently located in a strip mall with ample parking. The interiors are simple and cute with alot of space. Loved the cleanliness and hygiene standards that are followed. The service was impeccable and friendly and the food is scrumptious. We tried the veg chowmein, Lamb chilli and chicken momos and our palates were beyond content. They were so generous in loading us up with extra sauce. Must try place! In the oddest sense of coincidences, we happen to be shopping at an antique mall when I asked my girlfriend what she was hungry for and she said something Himalayan would be great A quick Yelp search rendered this wonderful place and we were practically already there. While it did appear they were still getting used to the flow of service, the food was exceptional. We tried the pan friend chicken chile momo's and the veggie momos as well as the creamiest butter chicken we've ever had. The veggie momos were hands down my favorite on this visit. Very delicious! Food is authentic and as such be prepared to wait a bit for preparation. We were excited to finally come here for lunch. The reviews were really good, so we are hoping the yelpers are right about this place. We wanted the Momos specifically because after seeing an episode on Triple DDD about a place too far from us, got us interested in these unique dumplings. First off, came here during lunch on a Saturday. They had 1 table taken up and we were the 2nd. A 3rd table was taken up no so long after. So, it was not busy AT ALL. Maybe they are busy during weekday? Don't know. The server, not the nicest. Not attentive. He definitely didn't grow up with any hospitality skills. Ok, that's fine, whatever, we're here for the food. We got an order of the roti. Wanted something else outside of the Momo's we ordered. It took a while for our food to come out. Like I mentioned, there was barely anyone in the restaurant. When the food came out, roti was good. It was nothing special, just roti. As for the Momo's...they were just ok. They are essentially like any chinese dumpling, but a slight different flavor from spices. It wasn't special. What did come with the roti was a special dipping sauce. That was a little more unique, but nothing mind blowing. We also got another surprise! A hair in one of our dumpling! That just about ruined our appetite. Who loves hair in their food? Well, when we were ready to go, the server was busy wrapping towels or whatever. Never once looked up or never once bothered to tend to us. I think it would be better for just self service at this point. We finally got our bill and we paid. Server asked us how the food was, we were just bleh....if u see momo's still remaining and we don't want it to go...it should tell you the obvious. We won't be coming back here. Sad. I've been there 3 times already. I go back repeatedly because great small restaurants like this one need business to survive, and I think this one should stay around. Food is awesome. I've had the Momos, Chow Mein, and Chicken Biryani. They come in big portions - major plus for me. I ordered takeout here last night around 8:30ish. First time ordering and was glad we did! First of all being late in the evening for a takeout order didn't know how it would go especially for our first order. Everything was super hot when we got home. Flavors of the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala were fantastic! What we've been looking for for several months! I wasn't a fan of their naan as I'm used to fluffier naan and this was denser, chewier and maybe just how they make it. But the other half loved their naan. So aside from the naan I was very, very happy. But I need to stay away from bread so it's all good. But the rice, noodles, curries and samosas were great! Will be ordering again and introducing to friends. This is going to be our new go to spot. The chicken they used was great too. Spice level on the rice and noodles we chose were spicy but still worth it. The sizes were huge for takeout much bigger than they appeared in the bag. read more
