We found parking on the square; interior is small but we were seated right away. The smells that hit me when I entered and the cheesecake on display definitely enhanced my hunger. The service was a bit slow; however, the food was worth waiting for. The homemade brat was tasty, perfectly cooked and the sauerkraut was abundant and flavorful. I wish I'd save room for the cheesecake but I need to come back to try the schnitzel!!

The service was great . Super sweet and helpful! The food was delicious. The mozzarella stick appetizer was good The red cabbage was really good! My husband loved the chicken fried steak. I had the Wienerschnitzel and it was really good.. Cute little place

Reuben sandwich and fries

Great little place for lunch. Good onion rings. Great Reuben sandwich! Friendly staff.

Everything Schnitzel

Service was atrocious. Waited 15 minutes before our server came to the table. We were getting ready to leave. 3-4 servers stood chatting with each other by the cash register and doing nothing while we sat there. Our table was 5 fr away and in sight. Other tables weren't getting much attention but at least they had drinks. It's 100 degrees outside so at least could someone have offered water?????? Table next to us had 6 people and 2 servers were tripping over themselves to attend to them at any one time. Raves about the Weiner Schnitzel in other reviews made us order two different versions. Came with a tasty salad. Jaeger Schnitzel and Everything Schnitzel. The Jaeger Schnitzel was dry and the gravy was salty. The Everything Schnitzel was more tasty and not as salty. Highlight was the red cabbage. Asked another server for a beer refill right before the food was delivered and it arrived by another server half way through our meal. I was never offered a refill on my iced tea. Server never came back until it was time to bring the check. We had sat there for 10 minutes waiting for her. By this time probably half the restaurant had cleared out. She asked me about deserts and asked for 2 to go. We had already been there 2 hours and didn't feel like sitting around another hour waiting on her for a desert. My husband left and went to the car. Thought that may speed things up. She stood by the cash register chatting with other servers while I waited for the deserts and a revised check. She finally brings them in separate boxes and I ridiculously ask for a bag. Took another 5-6 minutes before another server brought it. Definitely WILL NOT go back!!!!

Good food (schnitzel, salads, and desserts especially!) although it takes a good amount of time for the food to reach the table.

Small dining room with lots of cozy decor from Germany. Very welcoming atmosphere, from the time we walked in until we finished our meal and left. Probably the most authentic German food we've had in the US, we lived in Franconia Bavaria for four years in the 80s. Complimentary bread (also authentic) served when we sat down, and we could hear the schnitzel being pounded out in the kitchen when we ordered. Everything came out in an appropriate time, and our server was very friendly and checked up on us all the time. Even upsold us on a dessert (which we had to get to-go, as we were stuffed) by bringing the torte out for us to look at, hard to pass up after seeing it lol. Highly recommended!

It would've been great to sit outside on a nicer day. The food was great! We shared a bratwurst for an appetizer and had cucumber salad. Both were good but I only ate part of my salad in order to save room for the main event which was Jägerschnitzel and fried potatoes. They both took us back to our days in Germany. We hate that we waited so many years to come in.

Our waitress, Claudia, was outstanding! And the owner, Ann Marie was extremely kind. The Mandarin Cream Cake was OMG!! We loved everything about this restaurant. The only negative is the location. We are from out of town and not familiar with the area. Find it!! It's worth it!!

It's very unassuming from the outside and I got there early before very many people were there so I was nervous. I was greeted warmly and told to sit anywhere. I asked twice and what to order and ended up going with the sampler plate so I could try a few different things. Everything was amazing! My favorite thing was the knockwurst! Tons of flavor. I got one of their gorgeous slices of cake to go, and I'm considering returning before I go home in a couple days. This is a hidden gym. I don't know why it was a packed the moment it opened. The space is charmingly decorated, and I could picture it being a great place for a large get together or party or even just a girls lunch. Don't skip this place if you're in the area.

The ambiance is marvelous! They have steins everywhere and the decor is pretty neat! I would love to come here during an evening to see how different it is! They had 2 staff working on a Saturday afternoon which is understandable! After a twenty minute wait we were seated and the server came and took our order. He was very nice and helped us order since we couldn't pronounce much on the menu. We got a decent amount of food for 4 of us! I got the Brie with cranberry sauce it was a 4 out of 5. I did not know it would be fried which is why I took one point away. My friends got the potato salad and it was delish! It came warm and was very flavorful! They also got a pitcher of Ratler beer which tasted just like juice! It was delish! My friends got the soup and the Reuben. All were pretty tasty! My husband ordered the Bretzel which was delicious. Then we got two slices of cake. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE BEE STING CAKE! It was divine and I plan on buying a whole one for my birthday! It has almonds, honey, Bavarian sweet cream and Bavarian sweet bread it is phenomenal! I cannot recommend it enough! Each slice was $7 but so well worth it!
