Probably the worst acrylic tips and french manicure I ever got. It seemed like the only person there who knew how to do acrylic was not happy with having to do two sets of acrylic tips - one for me, one for my daughter. She asked for fairly short & almond shaped - he apparently has no idea how to shape nails, because her thumbs and ring finger nails slope heavily to one side while barely any slope on the opposite. Originally she was going to request a special design but he was so moody she just requested a simple color. When he got to my nails, I noticed right off the bat be chose tips that are way too wide for my fingernail beds and the glue wouldn't stick to several of them, so he had to reglue a bunch of times. He used an adequate amount of acrylic powder but did a poor job shaping (i asked for square which is simplest of nail shapes). The nails are so wide and thick I look like I have bride of Frankenstein nails. Finally the polish, I brought my own polish in because I wanted something to match I dress I will be wearing to an event. He again was less than thrilled, he wanted me to pick a gel polish so he could charge more. I asked him to use my polish as base color and do french on top. Big mistake. Worst French manicure I ever got. Uneven, polish missing in spots, and just messy. The only good thing about this place is it was very clean, spacious, and the relaxing music cured a headache I had when I first walked in. Will not be going back here. read more

I'm in awe that this place is still in business. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I went 2 weeks ago and 4 nails either cracked or broke.  Today I had Lynn 'fix' them during my fillin and she butchered what was once beautiful (from another salon, but costly and rude). She cut me with a file and continued to file it, put a new nail on, crooked, and then got upset I said the nail didn't match the shape of the others. They had to keep redoing the acrylic on 2 nails because they kept ruining them. I say they because William had to step in to try to fix, who then cut off the shape of my middle nail. This was after trying 4 different polishes bc each showed how poorly they do a fill on and their polishes are old and cakey. So I have a cut, a crooked thumb nail, a shorter than the rest middle nail, same cracked nail I showed her with acrylic crumbling off and a messed up pinky nail and no polish.  I will also add in that the nail replaced was replaced with more of a curved nail that I had to cut short when I got home as it doesn't match the rest of the nails and I couldn't use to type.  Lastly, let's discuss sitting at the nail station and and having nail clippings and leftover skin shavings on the counter top. Unreal.  I don't think this is a place that anyone should patronize. For the cost, these nail places are a dime a dozen. Go somewhere else. read more

Writing this review because my girlfriend was too aggravated to do write it. Giving this place even a single star is being generous, but unfortunately 1 star is the lowest Yelp allows. My girlfriend went in and asked for a manicure and pedicure to which they agreed to. When it got closer to their closing time, they began to rush her manicure, which look NOTHING like the picture she showed the lady for reference. How does one stare at a reference picture the entire time and still manage to do such a poor job? (Reference picture as well as what they actually looked like will be included. Once they finished the manicure, they told her that they closed already and she would have to come back for the pedicure. They charged a whopping $90. Highly discourage anyone from wasting their money at this poor excuse for a nail salon. read more

Purchased a $50 gift card for Christmas for my sister and with that came with a free manicure, so I figured I'll try this place out. Got this done last night (the day before Valentine's Day), so I expected it to be a little crowded, which it was (always a good sign) so had to wait 30 min. for basic mani. Like the other reviews say, they do try to up charge you, but in a very casual way. You need to pay attention to what they're asking you. "Scrub?" the lady asked me. I said no immediately. Didn't want to even question what that entailed. I was here for my free mani and free mani only! It was totally rushed, at most 20 min. But how can I complain if it was free? This salon isn't the closest to me so I don't have plans of returning, but I did enjoy my free manicure right on time for Valentine's Day! No complaints here. read more

This is the worse place ever. I went there and my first time was great. The girl did a wonderful job (wish I got her name). I went a 2nd time and the owner actually did my nails and it was horrible and by the time I got to my car I said nope she is fixing my nails. I told her the nail polish was even fully to the sides of my nails and there was cuticle skin popping up. I figured I would give it one last try and what a mistake. The girl who goes by the name Nikki had a attitude. I should have opened my mouth from the beginning bc she did not soak off the gel polish she used the machine. Then had the nerve to roll her eyes at me when I asked if she could fix the filing of my nails that she has them uneven and not fully square. I then asked her if she wanted someone else to do my nails and she said yes. A guy came over to me and asked me what was the matter. He agreed the polish is suppose to be soaked off I said well she did not do that and then is giving me a attitude bc I asked her to file my nails even and square. He had someone else finish my nails. This girl was nice and I thought she did a decent job until part of the polish literally just peeled up. To my surprise it was still wet underneath. I had a feeling she wasn't letting it cure enough but I did not want to make another scene. please stay away from this place if u like your nails. Decided last min I wanted to get my nails done, with a quick google search found Evian spa and glad I did. Very very clean inside. I got a gel manicure, and eyebrows waxed. Very satisfied with the end result of both. I did not have gel on my nails going in so the process was quick (didn't have to soak off) all in all took 35 mins. Prices were typical $8 eyebrows $25 gel manicure. I took a photo of the prices for everyone else since it was not posted on here. Very friendly. I didn't feel rushed. Even though it was quick. The colors are displayed on the wall behind the chairs. So you have to walk behind the stylists to look at them and choose. A bit different then other salons but it was well organized and didn't look like they just didn't care how it was presented. I do suggest to make an appointment but unless they're overly busy, they're very accommodating. One time I had a pedicure and when I went home, I was unhappy with the color I chose. I got an acrylic set done and they didn't even clean my nails or cut my cuticles they just glued the tips on(glue is still all over my fingers) and went on. Instead of wiping all the powder off my hands after filing they decided it was a good idea to rub it in with lotion instead. I also got a pedicure which they didn't cut the cuticles or do much cleaning up for either. I been going here for at least 10 years now and I'm very disappointed. I keep trying all the nail salons in the area to find one that's good for me; this place isn't it. I wanted to like it. The decor is nice and it's very spacious inside. But unfortunately it was a flop. I got a manicure and pedicure. The man who did my pedicure was awesome. But the girl who did my manicure was horrible! She rushed my nails, put the polish on so thick. Within a few hours of me leaving the salon my nails were already chipping. On top of it whatever polishes they use, I don't know if they put stuff in their polish or thin it out but it destroyed my nails. That should not be happening with a regular manicure. I ALWAYS go to Evian Spa, Simon usually does my nails and I am ALWAYS so happy, but this time I had an older gentleman and was NOT happy today. I went today. I had a full set of gel nails put on with a permanent French manicure. After the gels were put on and he asked me to put my hand under the UV Light, my nail was burning. I wish I was told this before hand, so I don't freak out and think something is wrong. 2-3-2018 I called Evian to see if I was able to get an appointment with Simon. He wasn't there. I was NOT spending another $96. dollars. So I decided to go somewhere else. My daughter and I went to Nina's Nails on Portion Road In Ronkonkoma. They did a very good job for MUCH cheaper a price. My nails were cracking on the edges since 1 week after. The guy who did my nails couldn't believe what my nails looked like. I am now going to be going to Nina's Nails. Just called and Simon is no longer there. I was told this. He is now going to Police School. I really think that we should've been told this especially before I spent that money there. read more

After being a loyal customer since they opened today after horrible service I have decided to spend my money elsewhere. The bad service was not only just for me but also for my father who was getting a manicure. They rushed through the service not giving us the right treatment. My money is green like everyone else so the service should not be based on whether or not the technician thinks I am deserving of their time. Respect and decency is important. Trying to tell someone you paint my toes before you wash my feet is disrespectful and nasty. No one's unwashed feet should be in contact with the nail polish. read more

my nails are super cute and I'm very happy, but prices for gel and acrylics are crazy. at my reg in deer park, gel nail French are 25 and acrylic French at 35. the acrylic nails I got were 73$ +I did a 10 dollar tip. This nail salon is very easy to go to and for simple things it is very easy to make an appointment. I made mine like 5 minutes before. I felt people who did me, had an attitude and didn't let me tell them what I want. and then if they mess up you are charged a 10 dollar fee. I won't be returning being my regular nail salon has better prices and attitude, but for a last minute, this place is a great alternative. The owner rushed me into her chair without understanding what I wanted and proceeded to SAND my nails down as if I was getting tips after I said regular manicure 5x to her and another girl. She then sent me down to a young girl who DID NOT clean my nails or cut the cuticles and gave me a lumpy gel manicure. They don't care how the customer feels and will do anything to get you out of the store because they charged me $80 dollars and spent 20 min on my nails that looked like garbage. I had the worst $35 pedicure ever! My pedicure included a 15 min massage which only lasted 9 minutes. The manicurist rushed thru the entire treatment. I got home and my daughter pointed out she got lots of polish on my toes. normally on a 35 dollar pedicure I would give 10 bucks, I only gave her 5. she didn't even deserve that! If I were able to give a half star review for a full leg wax here, I would. And that half star would only be for the private, clean waxing room. I called and made an appointment but when I came no one seemed to want to do the waxing. Finally, one woman agreed but clearly she was unhappy. Once we got in the room she spent a full minute fixing her hair in the mirror while I stood there stupidly. She had zero method and was just haphazardly putting wax in random spots. She told me I didn't need a full, just a half bc there was no hair on my upper legs. I have light blonde hair in some places and, while the hair was light, I could definitely see it all over my thighs. She finally agreed but sighed loudly almost the whole time. Which I could have lived with if she actually did a good job. I'm not normally one to mention a bad job because I don't like unnecessary confrontation, but no fewer than 5 times I had to keep telling her she missed HUGE sections of hair, both blonde and dark. She skipped my knees entirely (which had a decent amount of hair) and when I pointed it out she was clearly irritated. In the end, I got sick of telling her she was leaving behind so much hair and just let her "finish". She left so much wax on my skin I ripped the paper sheet up when I sat up and my pants stuck to my legs. Now I'm stuck with a wax that was only 60% done and have to decide if I'm going to shave the spots or have a patchy wax until my next one. This was beyond a doubt the worst waxing experience I've had. I've been to this salon before for pedicures, but I stopped going because they spend the whole time aggressively trying to upsell you. I've been going to this nail salon since they opened a few years ago. Of course the nail technicians come and go but I have been using William for quite some time now and I absolutely love my nails. Very disappointed. Have been coming here for about 2 years since it's 5 minutes from my house. Todays visit made me never want to return. I was nicely greeted when I arrived but then everything went down hill. I only needed a pedicure. It was not busy. Me and one other person getting pedicures and 4 people getting manicures. First off, the place was sort of messy and unkempt which I never would have said about this place before. The woman who did my pedicure rushed completely through the pedicure and didn't even bother to sell me on a more exclusive pedicure and the menu was right beside her on her stand.. No exfoliation on my legs and barley on my feet. I told her I had 2 ingrown nails and asked if she could take care of them. She said ok, and then never addressed them ( in any nail salon I've ever been through this was not an issue). Once my nails were painted I was scurried onto the drying station. Then my very favorite part, the back and neck message ( which I usually upgrade and tip nicely) I was completely ignored. Went in yesterday 9/17 for a pedicure (a birthday treat for myself) asked them if they could do an ombré on my big toes. Was told no, so I asked if they could do something similar, again a very quick no. I asked what could they do? The manager said just pick a color. Im am NEVER coming back here. I went in today to have my acrylic SOAKED OFF put gel powder on and a pedicure. Everything was good with my pedicure alittle rushed but did a good job. But after is where it all went down hill. The lady in the 2nd chair did not take off my nails correctly at all and was painful. She literally took a plastic nail tip dug it under the side of my nail and ripped off my nails I should have stopped her there. She then proceeded to do the dip powder and did even file the rest of the acrylic off. She did a terrible job. She got dip powder literally all over my fingers and said it was because my nail were short which they wouldn't of been if she hadn't ripped the acrylic off. Thats why it was on my finger and to just wash my hands when I got home. Meanwhile ripping off my nails and applying the dip powder took all of 20 mins. I sat there for like 10 mins trying to get the dip powder that had hardened off my skin quite literally almost in tears when the nice man in the 3rd chair started to fix the shape and get the rest of the dip powder off my skin all the while he had a customer in his chair. Needless to say I had to buy a nail file to fix the horrendous shape. Overall very displeased and will never come back here again. read more

Big and clean salon however I paid with a card when she brought the receipt I filled in the tip line with a tip amount and the woman said I have to tip in cash. I said I didn't have cash and she said use the atm IN the salon and there is no fee. So I did and there was no mention of a fee at all on the machine Today talking to my brother, who is a business owner, he told me those atms are a scam! It says no fee and it doesn't show you a fee HOWEVER it's a $2.50 fee and the salon gets a dollar of it every time! Lo and behold I go on my app and I was charged a $2.50 fee!! He said the atm company tried to sell them to him and as incentive the business makes a dollar of every withdrawal. He chose not to get them because he wants to remain HONEST with hus customers which CLEARLY IS NOT THE CASE HERE. I am going back tomorrow and getting the $2.50. I understand it's only $2.50 but it's he point. I could have tipped on the card and she demanded it in cash (I assume so that her income is OFF THE BOOKS and she isn't taxed on it) we all work hard for our money and this is anTOTAL SCAM how many people say it's not worth going back for the 2.50 and they make out?! I have given this place SO many chances. I've tried everything but they continue to disappoint EVERY SINGLE TIME. The only reason I even gave a star is because of the most wonderful lady who gives the back massages. First of all, every time they tell me to pick a color, I feel like I am being harassed and it's so annoying. Today I paid for a spa pedicure and it felt more like torture. I know I'm about to sound super petty but it was just that ridiculous. The guy doing my pedicure kept saying "free massage" um it's not a "free massage" since I'm paying $40. I was barely even given a massage, instead the guy doing my pedicure did the same movement the entire time, while he stared off into the distance. The "massage" was him basically rubbing the lotion on my leg. I had to ask him to change it up but he thought he was putting me to sleep. Um no. When he was cleaning my feet with the metal pumice he focused on the middle of my foot, there's no dryness there. Everyone knows the heels are what needs to be scrubbed and the "hot" towels are cold. I'm basically just getting a polish change every time but paying $40-$50 every time I go. Today was the last time I am ever stepping foot into Evian Nail Spa and I suggest every one else do the same. read more

I should read this a four star or a three star because what happened first is I walked in and I asked for a fill-in gel acrylic so she said it will be $41 and then I told her I was missing a nail and she said 45 which obviously I've paid and normally for my acrylics I pay 46 but that's for a whole new set and this was just a fill-in but at the same time it was a very nice location because they clean they have snacks and bread beverages but one thing that I do have to complain about is when I first sat down I told him do you have this yellow color which was like a neon green and she said yes we do but I didn't see it anywhere I said are you sure because I want this color so first a ladies are doing my nails and then they switch out to and I Gotta do my nails and when the colors come he's like we don't have that color you could try a lighter color but not a neon color so we were looking for colors for 10 minutes until finally he said oh wait and he pulled out a book and I saw the neon color so it felt like he was hiding that book which was confusing because I'm paying for this nail color so this nail salon is pricey but they do a really good job making their shapes and the thickness UPDATE ****** It is the same day and my pinkie nail broke off by TYPING on the damn computer they made this thin now that i notice im so mad right now read more

I stopped going (I went to them the first few years they opened, then something changed) because they took what should be a relaxing experience and turned it into a stressful situation! RUSH RUSH RUSH. "PICK COLOR, PICK COLOR"! As soon as you tell them you want a color of one of their boards, "$5.00 MORE" practically yelling at you. I don't know about you but I like the same person to do both my mani & pedi. That RARELY HAPPENS ANYWHERE BUT ON REQUEST MOST SALONS DO TRY TO ACCOMMODATE YOU . HERE, you sit for your pedi first, once you're comfortable & starting to unwind, here comes another tech pulling your fingers to get started on nails. I had one tech compliment me on the thickness of my nails & them proceeds to use that grinder tool to buff my nails so much I could feel the heat coming from under my nails. SO MUCH FOR THICK NAILS. My family and I make a spa day our "girls treat" whenever I come to visit. This was our first time here and definitely will not be back. Cost was higher than other places in the area and it definitely wasn't bc they were better. My pedicure was nothing more than a cold foot wash and nail polish- no callus removal , no massage, no lotion and massage of my calf's and freezing cold water which was not relaxing in any sense. I was then brought over to get my nails done and sat and waited 30 minutes for someone to come over. Not sure if they forgot about me or went to lunch but I was annoyed. There were multiple people also waiting at tables and the staff disappeared. The manicure was not any better. Had French done and it honestly looked like a child did it. I asked them to fix it and finally just gave up. Had to go home and remove and repolish my own nails. Total waste of two hours and close to $60. Definitely will not return read more
