Ewa Pointe Chinese Restaurant -- Our Ewa Beach Go-To! Ewa Pointe Chinese Restaurant is our go-to spot in Ewa Beach for delicious Chinese food. The aunties who work there are always on it -- friendly, attentive, and ready to serve their customers with aloha. Our seven-year-old absolutely loves the soft sweet buns and the rice cake (available on Fridays) -- it was also my papa's favorite, so it's a special treat for us. We enjoy the cake noodles, and my husband can't get enough of the spicy tofu and eggplant. We usually call in our order for pickup, but we look forward to dining in one day soon. During one visit, I noticed a rude customer speaking disrespectfully on his phone, calling his meal "rat soup." It was disheartening to hear, especially with the aunty waitress standing nearby. That kind of negativity doesn't reflect our community or the kindness this restaurant shows its guests. I'm posting this review to spread positive vibes and appreciation for a local gem that always delivers great food and warm service. Highly recommend supporting this family-run spot!

Best char siu fried rice!! Honey Walnut Shrimp da bomb! Fast service! Definitely will make the drive for the food! Hard to find good chinese food these days!!

This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in Ewa. It does get busy at times, which says a lot about how popular it is. We usually order takeout, but this time we decided to dine in. I always get the stuffed eggplant, but I tried something different on this visit and wasn't disappointed. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food came out at just the right temperature. Overall, a solid spot that we keep coming back to.

We Love their fried rice!! The portion size is large, It can serve a couple of people. We use to love their food, But lately it's been a hit or a miss. This time they gave us the wrong order and the stirfry vegetables did not taste good at all. I also orders a platter for Christmas and it did not taste the same and our last togo order we had a dish the was not tasted. So I'm a little bit sad because we don't have many Chinese restaurants in the area. And I've tried to keep giving him a chance. I will come back for the fried rice though.

Found a small cockroach in our food

It's me my family's first time here at Ewa Pointe Chinese Restaurant but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. The food initially looked good, but while I was eating, I discovered a cockroach in my dish. That completely ruined the meal and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. I immediately brought it to the staff's attention. While they apologized and deducted two of the dish from the bill and the response didn't feel sufficient given how serious the situation was. Finding something like that is unacceptable at any restaurant. I won't be returning, and I strongly urge management to address their hygiene practices. Customers deserve to feel safe and confident about the food they're being served.

The service was good and the food above average. We had my brother in laws birthday here and I ate a dinner plate here solo. So if you're in Ewa Beach and craving Chinese this place is good enough.

$14 container of ginger scallion sauce. Such a rip

I was in the mood for some cold ginger tofu for dinner but I wasn't in the mood for making ginger scallion sauce after work so I asked my boyfriend to pick some sauce up from Ewa Pointe on the way home. He did and when he brought it home he said it was such a rip...$14 for a one lb container. I can see paying $7...at the most for this, if I knew how much he paid then I would've told him never mind. I would've just told him to go to Loco Moco Ewa Beach, it's much, much cheaper.

The free treat we received in our meal.

See photos attached. We got a free friend with our meal. Generous gift but we decline. Yes, we received a refund and yes, we were told "sorry about that" and "sorry for what happened" but this is my final straw with this restaurant. My family and I have been coming here since they opened. Recently they hired a young lady who is very short/rude with her customer service. I've learned to just give it right back. Maybe she's not aware of it but I have said something a few times...silly me for thinking it would help. Last time we ate in, I watched her go from washing something in the front sink, pass a customer his food then go back to the sink NOT CHANGING GLOVES OR WASHING HER HANDS AT ALL. I waited for the other ladies to be available to ask them for a to-go container for our left overs....this girl came and WITH THE SAME GLOVES DRIPPING WET GRABBED ME A CONTAINER WITH HER FINGERS INSIDE THE CONTAINER AND TRIED TO GIVE IT TO ME. I refused and asked the other lady to get me one.

HAHAHAHA I cant Make this Up, i think they cooked my orange chicken half way out of its EggShell. Still love the food tho

Everything was cooked fast, fresh to order, and great bang for your buck considering all the pricy touristy spots you can go to. We also appreciated that they had plenty of healthy options with lots of veggies. This spot is a very typical Asian American cantonese restaurant and every dish we tried was great. In fact, afterwards we put in more orders for take out so we can eat it for dinner as well. 100% would come back. Their menu is huge and I'm sure some things are better than others so I would suggest sticking to the classics and you won't be let down. Steamed fish filet served with garlic and green onions: light, fresh, tender, and delicate with a flavorful sauce. Always a hit in my family 9.5/10 Mongolian beef: very tender beef over some stir fried onions and with a sweet and savory sauce. This plate had a more sweet sauce then I usually am used to but everyone was really happy with it and had no real complaints. 9/10 Curry chicken: not something I usually order at a Chinese restaurant but was glad we tried as it was a very tender chicken dish with a flavorful yellow curry and some veggies. The sauce mixed with white rice was unbeatable. 10/10 Eggplant and tofu in garlic sauce: saucy, tender and garlicky, it was a standard version of this dish and hit the spot. I think it could of had even more garlicky flavor but I am nitpicking and would still get anytime if I came back. 8.5/10 Mixed veggies with garlic sauce: light and healthy and the wok hei really came through. 8.5/10 Shrimp chow fun with gravy: shrimp was not overcooked and very tender and the noodles were al dente. The whole dished was topped with a boatload of savory sauce. Was even better with some added chili oil. Also once you ate the noodles you can add some rice into the sauce to soak it up and enjoy it that way as well. 9/10 In summary, come and support this family ran restaurant. If you are craving this style of Chinese food served family style with excellent service, it will certainly hit the spot.
