Spk with 'G' a couple times before visiting, and greeted by Elijah when I arrived. Office is clean, Techs are friendly and knowledgeable. Casual yet still professional interaction with everyone who walked in while I was there. Audrey up front is great, and again "G" is the kind of guy you want to work with for your auto needs. All signs suggested Catalytic Converter needed replacement, O2 sensors were bad, and no way I could get smog passed (est cost $1500 - $2500). They diagnosed the issues, replaced my dying battery (had to get jump start several times in preceding weeks), diagnostic tested, cleared codes, did NOT charge for phantom repairs/replacement and got my vehicle ready for smog and in good operating condition. More than $1000 less than what I expected to solve the issues. Honesty is often lacking when dealing with Mechanic shops, and as long as Mr. "G" and his team are here, I'll only bring my vehicle here.

He was very thorough, explained every step he was taking to make sure all of the new parts were installed correctly. We went on test drive and he made sure all of the wheels were functioning properly and the sensors were working properly and brought his equipment on the test drive. The initial quote was quite high but she agreed. After asking my advice I found another shop that would complete the service at half the price. When she called to cancel, they told her she would be responsible for the parts they ordered on her behalf. She agreed and then asked for only the original requested services to be completed, not the 4 extra services they tried to push on her. They did not offer her alternatives, just sold her the most expensive parts and tires. Extremely disappointed in how they treated her. When she had me talk to the service manager, she noted how their tone changed. I believe they use predatory upselling tactics on their women customers and pressure them into unnecessary services.
