It was Halloween weekend so the theme was comical horror and the 4 rooms were based on the Saw movies. It was well constructed, somewhat difficult, thrilling, and lots of fun for our group of 6. Each room mimicked scenes from the Saw movies and the clues were well thought out. The owners of the Anaheim location exit games were very friendly and thoroughly explained everything to us before hand. Came to Exit Game this past weekend to celebrate my nieces birthday and we had so much fun! From the start we were nicely greeted by the owners. The escape room was so fun and creative. We had a few scares that had us screaming and running. We were a group of six and we all rate this escape room a 10/10!! I've been to a few escape rooms and this was one of my favorites. This was also the first escape room that sent us videos and pictures from our experience which I thought was extremely cool. We're still laughing about the experience. We wanted to do a kid friendly escape room as I have a young child (under six). The Meow I'm a cat room checked all our marks. Not to mention the owner Jeremiah was wonderful. When my child got scared in the beginning first going in the room he was very understanding and offered to keep the door open just incase. He also got down to their level and spoke directly with them instead of over them and directly to us. Just all around a great experience. Can't wait to do their other room. read more

Our Escape Room Team had the BEST experience here. We have done 40 rooms as a team and I have done 70 rooms in total, all around California! This room was highly recommended to us by Escape Room enthusiasts, so we knew we had to make the trip to Exit Game OC. It was a great room that required effective communication and team work which we always love. The puzzles were great and there was lots of elements in this room that we had never seen before. It is obvious that the owners put their all into this space. The attention to detail in the immersion and in the puzzles was top tier. There was a lot of "memes" and odes to escape room qualms and we found ourselves laughing in the midst of suspense. Truly legendary, don't miss this room! Kevin our game master went above and beyond. This was really fun. We haven't done an escape room since the pandemic started and this was the perfect one to get back into it. This location has a different owner than the LA and SD locations. The 13th basement room was very fun and interactive. It has a really unexpected twist which we've never seen at any escape rooms so it was a pleasant and fun surprise. Some of the puzzles were challenging for our group but that's what makes this fun! It's a challenge! We escaped with a few minutes to spare. The owners of this location were very nice and let us take pictures and everything as long as we don't post any spoilers. They even recommended a bunch of escape rooms that are interactive like theirs. And a bunch of breweries in the area. They're building a new room now and it'll be ready at the end of this year or early next year. We'll definitely come back to try it. Plenty of parking at this place. read more

Do you want to play a game? Shout out to game masters Christine and Jeremiah for making our Friday evening such a fun-filled and memorable event! My group of friends and I played their "13th Basement" room and had such a wonderful experience. While the room may seem scary on their website, it's actually a horror-parody room. So if it anything it's a good mix of spooky and comedy. Also, there isn't any live actors or anything, so no need to worry about that. The room itself was nothing short of spectacular. If I were to describe it with one word i'd say: IMMERSIVE. The escape room is located in a spacious office complex and has large footprint, so there's a lot of room to move around. My group has completed about ~50 rooms and we did not find the puzzles to be too easy or too difficult. They were well-designed, unique, and fit the theme of the room. No red herrings or leaps of logic here! This is also the first escape room where we were encouraged to take photos/videos while playing in the room! My friends of and I took full advantage of this and had a blast interacting with their set pieces. After the room, we had a great time conversing with Christine and Jeremiah about the experience as well as recommendations for other rooms/haunted attractions. They've been around the US and have played some awesome rooms. So definitely ask them for their recommendations! Overall, I highly recommend everyone book a reservation at this escape room! Tips: 1. If you're looking for promos/discount codes check out their current/older IG posts. We availed of one that is expiring 12/31/21. (Don't cry cat tears if you're having difficulty deciphering it, reach out to them and they'll nudge you in the right direction.) 2. Bring your phone and take as many photos/videos while in there. And have fun with it. 3. Check out Bottle Logic Brewery after you're game! One of my favorite stomping grounds and it's located in the same area. read more

Calling all escape room enthusiasts to this one! After having done approximately 160 escape rooms it's rare that I find a room with a theme or setting I haven't yet seen. Exit Game's "13th Basement" definitely surprised me in a way that put a big smile on my face! Jeremiah was a wonderful game master. You can tell that he and Christine are passionate about escape experiences and are extremely experienced. Somehow, they've managed to create an escape room that's both enjoyable for newcomers and absolutely delightful for the enthusiasts with hundreds of games under their belt. This is a very clever game that I have no doubt any escape room aficionado will adore. For those of you looking for a bit more information to decide whether this game fits your crew: I did it with just my wife but can imagine a group of four enjoying this as a team. The theme is both horror and comedy with some fun surprises! It's not too scary, so don't worry if you're the anxious type. Short Version: BOOK IT!!!! Long Version: I have done quite a few escape rooms and the "13th Basement" is definitely one of the best ever. We got here a few minutes before our start time and was greeted by Jeremiah. We already signed our waivers online so we had time to kill since the group in before us was still playing. This was easily done by playing Turtles in Time in the waiting area. Before we started the game, we were shown an introduction video which happens all the time (don't climb, don't use force, etc.) except this featured the "mad scientist" from one of my favorite films as a teenager. We were lead into a room and then instructed to remove our blindfolds. When I opened by eyes, I definitely can see why Christine and Jeremiah took 8 months building this room. It was superb. The production value was top notch. The puzzles weren't overly complicated but they were amazing and it wasn't just all the typical locks (combination, key, etc). I don't want to say much more without spoiling it. Play and experience it for yourself!!! You won't regret it. After we successful passed with exactly 10 minutes remaining, we had a nice conversation Christine and Jeremiah. They answered any questions we had about the game. They also recommended to us other escape rooms which they liked. We're definitely come back here when the other rooms open! read more

Do this room!! This room is designed with an enthusiast in mind but accessible enough for first timers too! As a seasoned player, I was able to complete this room with just one other member (two enthusiasts) but there's so much to do that I can see how a larger group could enjoy it too. HIDDEN GEM ALERT!! If you love escape rooms, you must try this place!! My group had a dual birthday bash and needed a place to accommodate 10 people. Pickin' were VERY slim but I decided to book this place after talking to Jeremiah via yelp. He was the nicest & was very informative. Jeremiah & Christine also immediately clicked with my friends. I'm pretty sure that we could have stayed the the whole day to talk about different escape rooms across the country lol. Without giving too much away, my team had so much fun and everyone got a chance to do something within the game. There was still plenty of room to maneuver around even with 10 people!
