I've played a lot of escape rooms, but Exit Game in the OC truly stands out for the care they put into every experience. Whether you're stepping into one of their family-friendly adventures or braving their horror-themed room, the theming is thoughtful, immersive and detailed in a way you don't always see with the bigger chains. You can tell that the owners genuinely love what they do - every set piece, puzzle, and story moment feels intentional. My group and I had the chance recently to play their "Help, I'm a Cat!" room and it was such a blast. What really sets them apart, though, is their customer service. The team is warm, patient, and incredibly attentive. They read their players well and tailor the experience to what each group needs, whether it's someone's very first escape room or a team of seasoned enthusiasts looking for a challenge. I fully trust them to take care of my nieces and nephews when they are old enough to get introduced to the escape room world. They make everyone feel welcome and set you up to have the best possible time. If you're looking to support a small business that delivers memorable experiences, thoughtful design, and exceptional hospitality, this is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend!

Had a blast! We came here to try the 13th basement room. Which was a nice twist on parody horror escape rooms. It was definitely more on spooky vibes, and funny (to me) not very scary. Although there are some jump scares. Overall, this is a super cool escape room with many different aspects and puzzles. It was super cool for our game master to break everything down afterwards, and to learn more about the development of the rooms. It's super unique and you can tell they love what they do, which only makes us players admire it more. After finishing our first room we were offered a discount if we did the other room as well on the same day, and of course we had to try out the kitties. It was super cute and we had a blast, even as a grown adults. I really enjoyed our time here learning more about the development and puzzles. Thanks again! Please let us know if you guys have a new room in the future. I think whether you're a newbie or experience player, this place is definitely worth a try and a good time.

Got to play "Meow, I'm a cat with my friends for international cat day! The room is such a flip from Exit Game's other room '13th Basement' (which is also amazing for scary movie lovers). I love the design of the room, Exit games never does wrong on designing. I love how kids and adults alike would enjoy playing this room. Exit Game-OC: Meow I'm a Cat! We just wrapped up our adventure at Exit Game-OC, and their brand-new game "Meow I'm a Cat" was EVERYTHING. Our whole family had an absolute blast crawling through the space, solving feline-friendly clues, and trying to find our way back home. We have had the 13th basement room on our radar for a long time but it requires a minimum of three people. We recently started doing escape rooms with another couple so we finally did this room and it was definitely worth the wait. This is probably one of the biggest rooms we have done and there are all kinds of great puzzles that definitely require teamwork. I think this is the only room we have done where they actually let you take pictures inside the game, but obviously with the promise to not give anything away. There are some good scares but nothing extreme and there is a fun twist at the end. Luckily we didn't need too much help, but Abisai was a great game master. After we escaped, he gave us a whole walk-through of the game and answered all questions about it. Before and after the game we had some great conversation about various escape rooms in the area. They are working on some new rooms and we can't wait to return and try them. The 13th basement is definitely highly recommended!

I wish I could do 6 stars. My dad's dying words this morning were "Leave a 5 star review for the escape game. We got a hell of a deal and the game was a banger." He really loved exit game & we had so much fun as a group. I'm recommending this place to anyone I can, Jeremiah was a great game master & it really felt like I was stuck inside a room with a killer. 11/10 I would go here again and even though I wasn't voted MVP for my group I still had fun.

Highly recommend. We booked the 13th Basement for a group of 10, most of us havent been to an escape room. We had the best time from start to finish. Level of difficulty is medium, but it was very difficult for us and somehow escaped with over 1 minute left. Shoutout to Jessica for being a great host. read more

Okay, so I'm not a huge fan of escape rooms, but we came here as a family to celebrate my son's 28th birthday (he and his wife LOVE escape rooms) and we had the absolute BEST time here at Exit Game OC! From the moment we walked in this place felt different. The young lady at the front was so funny and engaging- she was amazing, in character, (did I say funny?!), and made us feel so welcome. The whole escape experience was so fun, scary in a good way, and we all left pumped and full of all the happy feelings! We all decided that this is the best escape room anyone had ever been to. And to think that the owners, Jeremiah and Christine did this all on their own with their own creativity- we were blown away. It was the perfect balance of creepy and gory but not over the top. And the puzzles are challenging and encourage you to work as a team which is really fun! They also send you home with PICTURES from inside the experience that you can post- yes, they sure do. You have to come here- take it from someone who doesn't really dig these things. I've changed my mind and if Jeremiah and Christine ever create another experience I'll be all over it! read more

Are you new to escape rooms? Play this game! Are you experienced in hundreds of games? Play this game! I've been playing escape rooms since 2015 (though only around 120, because busy with life), and I have to say this game was made out of pure passion from the owners. The game is such a tongue-in-cheek, almost parody-like dramatic reenactment of the best horror escape rooms out there with enough dark humor, easter eggs, and still unique gameplay experiences to satiate the escape room enthusiast. When I say unique, I really mean unique... there is one moment in the game I just absolutely loved and have never experienced in any game I have ever played before. What a fantastic escape room! It had been a while since my escape room squad was together for a IRL escape room. The last one we did was pre-COVID. I am so glad that we finally got together and I'm so thrilled that it was the 13th Basement. The ironic thing is that this escape room had every element of an escape room done in the style of an escape room parody. And yet... there was so many things that I had never seen before. This is #81 for me and now this ranks amongst the top. The build is fantastic. Everything is solid. Nothing was too fragile. I always look for creativity and uniqueness and they delivered. Their business is clean and there is even a TMNT arcade machine in the waiting room! Cowabunga! Lastly the Game Masters - Christine and Jeremiah were top notch and took time to answer our questions and chat afterwards AND they let us take pictures during the game! Who does that! Crazy! I could say a lot more but I'm not into spoilers. Just do it and ask about the poltergeist while you are there. My team had a blast and I'm still talking about it 3 days later. I highly recommend The Exit Game OC for both escape room enthusiasts and newbies alike! I played their game, The 13th Basement, which is a horror/serial killer theme. It's not too scary however, and I would recommend it for those looking to get into more horror themed rooms. It's part parody incorporating many common escape room tropes so enthusiasts will definitely get a good laugh out of it! I've played about 75 games now and this game managed to include an element I hadn't seen before and I thought was completely genius. What really impressed me was the owner's dedication to making their game accessible to everyone including those who might be mobility impaired. The owners took some time to show us all the alterations they could make to accommodate a wide variety of players. I loved they made these considerations when designing the room, as we know the sometimes the tasks escape rooms ask us to do are limit others from participating. The Exit Game OC gives everyone the full experience of their rooms and I loved that! The owners are incredibly nice as well and enthusiasts themselves, which shows in their work. The facility is very clean, and there is plenty of parking being located in a business district. I am looking forward to seeing what they do next! read more

Professional and fun game hosts, well designed, creepy fun, that this room actually scared everyone at one point. I cannot rave more about how great this room was from start to finish. One of my favorite escape room companies as I have played all of their games at San Diego and LA now. I appreciated the COVID precautions they take on site, and make sure everyone had a fun experience. I can only hope that more games come out soon to play. read more

If you like escape rooms or if you just want to try it. This is the escape room for you. The game is very unique. I have done many and this was very well done and impressive. I won't go into details and ruin it for anyone but communication is key. The owner and his wife is super super nice and accommodating. Fun, fun, fun! Excellent NEW Escape Room Game in Anaheim, OC. This is a different room from Exit Game in Monterey Park. Different owner, and Most Importantly different game! We played 13th Basement, and it is very well made. This game has a cool split start requiring lots of collaboration with others. The prop and the entire game-room design are very high quality. I also loved the game-master/owners, Christine. She has a Youtube channel, The Haunt Girl, which reviews escape rooms, so I can tell that she knows what players like and expects from the game-room. Deaf Friendly! I had never done an escape room. I had assumed it would be too difficult as a Hard of Hearing person. Exit Game made it super easy for me to be able to enjoy the game! I had so much fun and didn't feel like I missed out. Just make sure to advise the host in order to make it fully deaf friendly. The suspense was so good! The puzzles were super creative and it got more intense deeper into the game. I had to excuse myself to the restroom due to overexcitement. I highly recommend it to everyone to go! I'd love to return to see my friends' reactions. The host were super friendly and very knowledgeable and a pleasure. They definitely boosted the enjoyment of the Escape Room. read more

This is one of the best escape rooms I've ever done!! There's so many fun elements that keep you on your toes. We had several first-timers in our group and managed to escape, so this one is perfect for all levels. You have to work together as a team for many puzzles, and everyone's skill set is needed. The owner was extremely nice and helpful while explaining all the rules. Don't save this for a certain occasion, just GO!!! So much fun. read more

Okay - My group and I have done 50+ rooms and this is in my top 5 for sure!!!!! I can't recommend this room enough. You just have to do it! You will not be disappointed. It's not scary at all. You know all those boring intro videos you have to sit thru? Well.....they're intro video is THE BEST! I LOVED IT. From the get go, we were laughing and having a great time. Inside, the work and time they put into this room is stunning. You feel completely immersed! Three of us did this room and it was awesome......3 would be my suggested minimum because of one task you have to complete. Jeremiah was so nice and super fun! PLEASE DONT LET THIS ONE GET BY YOU! I absolutely love this room, the story is fun and an original take on horror comedy and the room has a great mix of modern technology and classic locks. I've been twice now and will continue to recommend it to my friends. The owners, Jeremiah and Christine, are very friendly and hospitable. They took the time to talk about to us about all things escape rooms, horror, ghost hunting. Plus they are the only room that encourages that you take photos and videos as you go which is great way to make memories and to laugh later when you watch your group struggle lol. I wish I could give more than a 5 star review we haven't even been gone for 20mins from this place and I already want to go back ! This couple has created an incredible WHEEL CHAIR FRIENDLY escape room! Not only do they want everyone to be able to have fun and participate but this is one of the most fun and well thought out escape rooms I have ever done! Great escape room. We've done around 60 escape rooms, with most of them in SoCal and this is a fairly new escape room location. We did 13th basement and it was a solid experience. Definitely worth the money. Good decoration, a good mix of puzzle difficulty and variety, and fun theme. There is more emphasis on the comedic aspect as opposed to horror themed. Would definitely recommend this room for both new and experienced players who are looking for a fun time. Game masters were very welcoming and super knowledgeable in the whole escape room scene. Got some good suggestions from them for other great rooms. Will be back for the other 2 escape room scenarios they are working on. read more

I've been to a lot of escape rooms and this is one of my top favorites! The owners are amazing and make sure you have the best experience. The puzzles are just the perfect amount of difficulty, and game keeps flowing at a great pace. They are the perfect amount of teamwork. I happened to find Exit Game room as a spontaneous decision to try another room in the area. I found a slot available at 4pm and called in to see if I could book a room for 2 people. Jeremiah (the owner) recommended at least 3 people as some parts of the puzzle require multiple coordination/communication but still allowed us to reserve and try the challenge. I have done atleast two dozen rooms in the area and i can easily say this ranks as one of my top rooms in terms of challenge, immersion, teamwork, and solid-ness of puzzle. Grace was our game master and she did an amazing job as well giving just the right amount of hint as needed. I can see the passion put into making this room from the owners in the art work and puzzle making. I can not wait to try out future games that is being built and will definitely be back! (Note: we made it out with 2 min on the clock but it really was a challenge with 2 people, would recommend 3!) read more

This was my first escape room and it came very highly recommended to me by a friend who's done 40+ escape rooms in OC and LA. 13th basement was her fav! It was amazing! We took 5 women and had a blast we solved it with 11 min to spare would highly recommend!! We had a blast in this room! I'm a bit of a scaredy cat so when I heard that your party will be separated, I was both intrigued and scared. But the scares we're not debilitating in your ability to solve the puzzles so I got the best of both worlds. Jeremiah was great as GM. As an escapee room enthusiast, who has down MULTIPLE escape rooms, this was by far one of the best best rooms we've ever done. Imagine this, 4 people, blindfolded, separate rooms, with one goal in mind, to escape. The owners were incredible with so much life, it made the experience ten times better! This was mine and my best friends first ever escape room and we are so happy we visited the Exit Game- OC. It was a little bit of a drive for us but it was honestly so worth it! Since it was only us two we were a little nervous as to how we would actually finish it- BUT WE DID! Without giving too much away, you are separated in the beginning and then you do end up finding each other quickly after you are separated. It was a funny spooky spoof of scary movies type of feel but still entertaining to say the least! Communication is key!!! We learned (not so quickly) we had to be specific when trying to figure things out! I'm happy this was our first escape room. Jeremiah and Christine helped us a bit along the way as we were genuinely stumped at some parts but did not make us feel bad about not knowing how to complete something! They were truly great!!!! My son took the family here for my Birthday. We were greeted by the owners who were super friendly and explained the rules of the game. It was a blast. Loved the horror theme. The production quality was amazing and felt like it was done by Hollywood set design pros! Everyone was slightly terrified and we barely escaped with our lives! You will love this room! read more

Established in 2021.

Exit Game OC is a small business that opened its doors on September 25th, 2021 was created by long-time escape room enthusiasts as a passion project to give back to the community they love so much. It was obvious to anyone that knows this married couple that the first escape room they would create would be in the horror genre as they both LOVE haunted houses and horror movies. The second escape game they created at Exit Game is completely opposite of the comedic horror 13th Basement, but purrfectly inline with the creators personalities. It’s a family friendly cat game where guests are the cats! There’s a little Easter egg in the game to watch out for: a photo of their own rescue cat Bagheera.

I had joined her awhile back and despite having difficulties of my own, I had fun and the cookies are delicious. After the first experience I have returned on numerous other occasions and do feel I have progressed a bit with my decorating skills but all in all its about the fun. The cookies are always well themed and we enjoy eating these for several days afterward. It really doesn't matter what the end product looks like as long as you have fun creating your masterpiece. As Frank on Everybody Loves Raymond would say, the stomach knows not ugly and these are delicious no matter the result. I will definitely return again soon for more of these classes and highly recommend checking them out for something different, fun and challenging

Also, a huge shoutout to our game master, Chad--he was absolutely amazing! He was so enthusiastic and it is clear that he truly loves what he is doing, which made our experience even better.

The workshop was well received by all my colleagues (~50 people). In addition, Melissa executed this workshop among a few different locations, making the effort to get our other offices all the materials in advance. I would highly recommend Melissa in any corporate event. Melissa and I had a few calls and traded a number of emails about this event. While she was responsive to my questions, she was also able to run with the event without much guidance. The day of the event, Melissa arrived on time (early) to set up, taking care to protect the tables with disposable tablecloths. She set out all the materials (including decorative rocks and pretty colored moss) and guided participants through the workshop. She was happy to answer any questions. Afterwards, she cleaned up quickly and thoroughly. My colleagues thought the event was relaxing; it was a nice team building and we created something pretty for our office. It can be stressful working with Type A people (me) and in company events, and I was blown away by Melissa's dedication. We would be happy to work with Melissa again.

What wasn't made clear is that the $10 only covers one hour. After getting inside, I learned you have to keep paying for every additional hour. For comparison: Castaic Splash Park 2 kids = $70 total Parent = free Adventure Lagoon (calculation based on 3 hours - though I chose this place to come for 4 hours since it was advertised as same price for all day) 2 kids admission = $70 Water park fees = $60 Parent admission = $35 Total = $165 So instead of spending the day at a beautiful lake surrounded by nature, we paid more than double to be at a small water park surrounded by warehouses. The website prominently advertises the day rate and has a big "BOOK NOW" button, but the hourly water park fees are not made clear upfront; you have to literally scroll below the pricing and "Book Now" to see them. One of our e-bikes had low battery charge and even though someone was able to bike out to where we were to delivery another battery, the replacement was also low and wouldn't be enough for the time we rented. We also lost time waiting for the other battery. However, kudos to the staff and owner because they made it right for us when we returned the bikes. Spot has good staff and a great location. Refreshing the bikes with newer models would bump it to 5 stars.

Jeremiah and Christine, the owners, and our game master (Kevin?) welcomed us with enthusiasm that seemed to never wane despite the late hour. The escape room was expertly designed - a clear testament to Jeremiah and Christine's passion and creativity. Each room was challenging yet fun, keeping us engaged throughout our adventure. What set this experience apart was the after-hours chat. Jeremiah and Christine graciously stayed after our game to chat with us, answering our curious questions and sharing insights into their creation. We were in a pinch looking for a last-minute escape room to celebrate my son's 14th birthday, and we were so lucky to stumble upon this escape room in Anaheim. I can not recommend this room enough the owners are amazing. The work they put into the project shows and speaks for itself. I loved this room so much I did it with my girl friends and we decided to bring our significant others to do it again a month later. You may think it's SCARY but it's actually FUNNY SPOOKY so even someone is is a very scary cat and do this room. You won't be disappointed if u give them a try. I promise u will love it! read more
