Omg this was so fun!!! My crew and I were visiting Sacramento for the weekend and we were able to make time for an escape room. We did the Spy one and it was so fun! Will was our game master and he was amazing! Not to brag but we had at least 20 more minutes until our time ran out! We escaped the Woodbury's Wizarding School and our game master was Tim. The experience was the best I've ever had at an escape room and Tim was in character the whole time. The puzzles were just hard enough to be super fun when you solved them and the props were very interactive. If I could rate higher I would. 10/10 read more

Amazing place to enjoy some time with friends. Dathan was a great host. 5 star escape room experience! Our group of friends do a lot of escape rooms together so we've been around the block. Our first escape room experience at this location was Woodburys Wizarding School. The decorations were beautiful and the puzzles were fun to solve. We escaped with a few minutes left. We recently came back and completed pet snatched and spy vs spy. Pet snatched is a lot of fun. If you're new to the escape room genre it's better to start with Pet snatched and worked your way up. We felt pet snatched was a bit on the easier side but the puzzles and interactions were fun. Spy vs spy is interesting where you all work together and have to pair up to help each other out and then you work against each other at the end to solve the puzzles to escape. There can only be one winner! The CIA or the Soviets! Check out this escape room location. You won't regret it. read more

I've been to a few escape rooms before, but Exit Strategy Game stood out above them all. I did the Butcher's Torture Room in a group of 5 and we were able to complete it with a a few minutes to spare thanks to the unlimited hints haha. The game master is there to watch you and help you. Our game master was named Gigi and she was super nice, and helpful. She did a great job playing in character for the escape room which made my friends and I have a great experience. Overall, I would recommend this escape room and I am definitely coming back for more. read more

Owner customer service. Games masters are great, owner is horrible! We booked for our son's birthday and our friends got covid. We called owner to ask if we could get a credit for what we paid to use at another time (aka more business) and she refused! The people that work for her also said- good luck trying to get her to give you your money back, so apparently she must do this a lot! Instead of doing right by a returning customer, she would rather keep her $60 something- pathetic! I would recommend you spend the extra 15 mins and drive into Sacramento for another escape room! Oh and the owner said because we said we would write a bad review we would be banded from returning to her place (as if we would give her more of our money)!! lol! After owner replied..... let's set the facts straight- you didn't give me the option to reschedule. You also said you don't have merchandise, as you were out and did ask if I wanted to switch rooms and my son said no. I was not being unreasonable or rude until you were! From the introduction to the ending, we were just treated with kindness and playful joking. The room itself was super unique! It had so many puzzles that no other escape room has ever had. The Woodbury's Wizarding School was so much fun! We had five kids ages 14-8 and the puzzles were a perfect fit for them. The room was a generous size for our party of 9 and our host Tony did a great job keeping the game moving along. I had a great time doing to Woodbury Magical School room. Gigi was our game master. She was so friendly and enthusiastic! The lockers were big and the bathroom very clean and cutely decorated. I'd personally recommend a group of 3-4 for this particular room so everyone could have some part in it since the puzzles were sequential/not multiple puzzles at once. The puzzles were challenging but definitely doable. Gigi stepped in and gave us hints when we were obviously struggling for a long time. I was really impressed with some of the effects used particularly with the screens! Highly recommend. Everyone in our group of newbie escape rooms participants had a good time! I'd definitely like to come back and try some of the other rooms they have. read more

Was a really cool experience as a first timer. Game masters are really energetic and informative on the rooms. They role play their parts to the script and the rooms awash have such cool effects. Went for my 4th time this weekend and it was great! We played a Christmas game (when it was almost February) but it was actually shocking how fun yet challenging it still was!
