Today was my first time in an escape room and Exit Strategy Games has me hooked. As soon as we walked through the door, Joanne greeted us with a friendly hello and how are you even through she was helping a large group in front of us. She did a great job explaining everything to us and getting us started. We did the Pet Snatched room and at first, the most experienced in our group of 4 thought the room seemed too simple compared to rooms they had done in the past, but everything is not what it seems and by the end they agreed it was far better than other rooms they had done. I will admit we had to ask for a hint to get started, but then we were on a roll and they give you unlimited hints anyway which is awesome. It took us just over 40 minutes to finish and we all had a lot of fun working together to solve the clues. This is a great activity for close friends and family, as well as people looking to get to know each other better. I love that they take a photo at the end to commemorate your victory and we will definitely be back again soon! Side notes; - this place is in the middle of nowhere which seems odd, but is awesome, so don't worry when you find yourself in some industrial area, it adds to they mystery and the inside is very nice. - the bathroom was clean and very well stocked - all the rooms are private, which is something that has kept me from doing this at other places... no one wants to be paired with strangers for something like this. - the staff are friendly, engaging, hardworking and super helpful (shout out to Joanne again!) read more

The room we were in was great, the clues were challenging and fun. We had no idea we had chosen the most difficult room but we managed to solve it with almost two minutes left. We played "Woodbury's Wizarding School" Room with Game Master or '3rd Year Student' Tim. This room is considered a 'premium room' due to having mainly technological puzzles instead of the traditional puzzles like number locks and pad locks. This room really blew me away and I felt really immersed. What also made it better was that our Game Master really played into the roll and was quite helpful when needed. I wouldn't say this room is too difficult and would give the experience a 10/10. read more

We completed Woodbury's with 7 people, the room was fun, very interactive, the production and tech definitely blew us away. The puzzles were not too difficult and felt very intuitive. This place was AMAZING!!! I've gone to multiple escape rooms and this was by far my favorite experience!!! The rooms were so much fun! We did the wizard one and the spy vs. spy. They rooms were so fun, neat, and challenging. They both were multi room rooms which is always really fun, not just being in one room in a box. The service was incredible, and GIGI really made the experience even better. Some times the employees are either way too over the top, or you couldn't tell they don't really want to be there. We've been to Exit Strategy twice. We enjoyed both rooms. Wizards of Woodbury was my favorite. So much fun and makes you use your brain. The second room was Krampus. We enjoyed it but didn't know you start in two separate rooms, well, same room different sides. The puzzles were great and very thought provoking. There was just 2 of us so maybe if there had been more people it wouldn't have bothered me to be separate. You Definitely need to have good communication. George was our game master and he was very helpful. We did make it out of both rooms but only had 50 seconds with Krampus. I hear they are working on a new room. We will be back when that happens. read more

I went with a group of 5 doing the room named "Pet snatched." My friends and I had so much fun!!! We were kinda rocky in the beginning, but their non-ovbious hints helped us in the right direction. We finished with 8 minutes left ayyy. The enthusiastic worker that helped us was Celidah. Their story telling for each room was amazing and had me entranced. I want to go back!!! I'd never done an escape room and was invited on a first date, I wasn't sure how I'd like it. I LOVED it, the magical school themed one was amazing, so much better than I could have anticipated! It also was a really lovely way to scratch the itch of those of us missing some of the magic of the wizarding world these days! We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back for the Krampus themed one that same night! That one was harder but incredibly engaging as well, it was also fine for a horror wuss such as myself I CANNOT sing the praises of Tim highly enough, his energy and commitment to the bit was admirable and infectious, he was incredibly attentive and guided us through both rooms with gentle clues to the point that we only had to ask for a hint one time! He also really buttered us up afterwards with praise and compliments and had a super fun vibe that made the whole trip, would recommend asking for him! read more

We did the "Pet Snatched" room. Before we went, we thought that escape rooms were kind of corny and lame in concept. But nonetheless, we were looking for a cool, fun place to go on a smoky weekend (wild fires). To our surprise, the experience was totally awesome. The puzzles were pretty challenging and we had to use the "hint" option a few times. The escape room itself was very clean, well maintained and the remote monitor/hint option was ingenious and super effective. Without giving any spoilers, we totally enjoyed ourselves with all of the challenges. We will be back to experience a few of their other rooms. read more

My 11 year old son wanted to do an escape room with his firends to celebrate his birthday. We've already done the Pet Snatched room as a family, so he wanted to try something different this time. He chose Woodbury's Wizarding School, which is a bit more challenging. I knew he wouldn't want me in the room with him, so I recruited his older brother (15) and a friend to go in and assist (and supervise because a group 5 boys, all 11 yrs old, can get a little wild. My husband and I waited outside the room, and we heard them having so much fun the entire time. George was the escape room host, and he was so good with them. He was patient, gave excellent direction, and stayed in character throughout the chaos. I got to peek into the room when they were taking pictures at the end after completing the puzzles, and it looked amazing. I want to go back and try it myself. read more

My friends and I have been wanting to try the Wizard Room for awhile and have been not so patiently waiting. We were lucky enough to participate in testing the room before it's open to the public. From start to finish the experience was amazing. The set is meticulously done and you are transported into another world. There are so many digital effects! First of all Michael the game "dungeon master" was amazing we did two rooms because he was kind enough -The first room was "torture chamber" not to scary for me and my best friend (this will be 80th escape rooms) was gory and creepy and gave us a little spooks not scary enough to hold you back from moving forward into the room it was not to hard only needed two nudges in the right direction but was really fun. -the second room "pet snatch" was family fun and you had to save a pupper!!
