I've been coming here since I've lived in the South Bay(that's about eleven years so far), and it is true that Daisy is the Bomb. But, the other two guys (whose names I always forget), are really good too. I walked in needing a quick haircut and this young guy is sitting at a table eating lunch. He asked if I wanted a haircut then told me to wait awhile while he finished his lunch. Then he finally asked what I would like done and I told him a trim up top and he proceeded to tell me he couldn't do it because the lady who cuts with scissors wasn't there. Went here with my husband to get his hair cut. My husband was helped by an old man. MH told him how he wanted his hair cut look like. The barber took so long cutting MH's hair and his way seem like he is not a good barber. When it most done and I saw him taking off the body cover cap, I walk up showing him THEIR YELP PICTURE just to make sure he gradient the back hair good. Guess what, he started giving his annoyed attitude toward me. He said people who dont work at beauty salon and stuff keep showing famous actors' hair and expect to look fabulous after. Then he keep mumbling about it while fixing the hair for a good 5 mins. Seriously, I am working at a beauty salon too, I understand each individual has different body shape, but it is super unprofessional when the technician keep mumbling about one stupid thing over and over and make us seem like we are kids. I decided to give it a try, and all I can say is WOW! Nick is a master with the razor and scissors. Best haircut I have received in a very long time. Place was sick! Good people, good vibes. What more could you really ask for with a barber shop? Conversations easy to start, and are held well with the employees. These people are real so if your looking for some candy coated bull then go somewhere else...although you should still go here. Service is amazing and always leave with a clean cut. Of all the barber shops I have visited I have felt the most at home and welcomed here. There isn't any sense of pressure to look or act a certain or specific way like most of these "younger" shops opening nowadays that actually seem to be in a way "clique-y" as it's the only legitimate way I can put it. I was in town visiting and needed a haircut. This place had bad customer service...Rude. Multiple barbers were just hanging out in the front of the shop when I entered. I said hello and went inside while I waited for one to come inside and cut my hair. A woman barber who was already inside when I walked in never even opened her mouth to greet me, even after I greeted her. She then took someone who walked in after me without any further acknowledgment to me. The barbers who were hanging out near the front door when I initially walked in were still outside after 10-15 minutes. I finally had to walk back outside and ask if they would come cut my hair. In all fairness, the guy was friendly once I was in the chair and we began a conversation, but it just didn't make up for the overall terrible experience. I understand I wasn't a regular customer, but this treatment was very distasteful. On top of everything else the haircut was lousy. Needless to say I will never return read more
