The food is delicious. Too often, however, I pick up my order with errors and I'm told I called it in that way. I know it's an error on their part. I may have to look for a new sandwich place but this one is incredibly good and I prefer supporting a family business. Express Grinders and more is a small family owned and operated business. I absolutely love supporting local small mom and pop type shops. So we decided to stop by and check them out. The area they're in isn't the nicest but don't let that fool you or stop you from checking them out. Looks can be deceiving. As this place is a diamond in the rough. Inside is very well maintained super clean. You can tell they take pride in their establishment. Service was top notch the lady working was so welcoming and friendly! ( Such a sweetheart) We opted on 2 12 inch pastrami cold style and one 12 inch all meats and two slushy drinks. Everything is reasonably priced. First time here and was blown away by the flavor of their two sandwiches. My favorite is the Italian sub and club mix. Absolutely delicious m. The bread is baked daily and has that slight crunchy feel. The place is clean and for those of you concerned about the sandwich maker. I watched the nice daughter handle the money and her really nice mother was making the sandwiches. Very clean restaurant and everything was absolutely delicious. This is my go to sandwich shop in the San Bernardino area. I will definitely return. The turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich was really good too, but my favorite is the Eli. This place is a hidden gem! Run, don't walk for the best coffee in the IE (get bent Starbucks) their coffee is so, so much better! Grinders are huge and at a very fair price. The bread is that amazing soft but firm with a great crusty outside texture. The perfect type of bread for grinders. meat and cheese are very generously layered with a lot to choose from. Veggies are also very fresh. One word "amazing" place, wonderful staff, please is clean and smells fantastic. I ordered 3 foot long grinders and the wonderful coffee. Staff Friendly and helpful. Didn't feel rushed in ordering. Lots of choices, and did I mention the place smelled so good. I explain I was getting them for dinner and it was 11:00 am so I need them dry, (no mayo, oil or vinegar) three beautiful grinders on soft bread. They even gave me yellow peppers (a lot thank you, thank you), mayo, vinegar and oil on the side all bagged and ready for the fridge until we eat. AND The Best Pasties I've had in a while. They need to advertise these pastries I'd buy a dozen for the holidays or heck just because! I'd probably eat 1/2 quietly and then I'd have to go back for more. Totally worth it.
