I was informed exactly where they were in their process through text mails that lead you to a dashboard which displays Dropped Off - Started - Finished - Picked Up. In addition, it displays the costs and deductible with contacts with DFW and your insurance provider. Overall, they did a great job on my car, and they were able to help fund the deductible based on my financial situation. DFW was my fourth visit. I was skeptical about the business and the area it was in, but Peyman eased my concerns immediately. He listened and he was very hospitable and informative of the process and timeline for repair. When my Wife dropped off the car for repair, they paid for an Uber to get her back home! The car looked great once finished and I was a happy camper. Fast forward to October 2019, I noticed several dark spots on my hood where it had been painted the year previous. You could tell the spots were under the paint and I could not polish them out. I took the car back to DFW Pro Bright Star and Pouya, not only greeted me with a friendly smile, he actually remembered me from over a year ago. He quickly assessed the situation and without hesitation, he asked me to leave the car so they can take care of it. After four days, they called me to say my car was finish and to come get it. They backed up the work they originally did and my car looked new once again...no charge! I was impressed with their commitment to doing great work and pleasing the customer! They kept my car for two days and charged me $200 just to "run tests." After that, they told me I needed a start sensor, new spark plugs, and an engine carbon cleaning -- with a total estimate of over $1,300. I specifically asked them to tell me only what was necessary to get my car running properly. Their response was, "We can leave the spark plugs and it will still be $800 for the sensor and carbon cleaning." At that point, I felt extremely uncomfortable and pressured, and it seemed like I was being overcharged. I decided to get a second opinion from Elite Exhaust & Brake in Plano, and the difference was shocking. They quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem by replacing the start sensor for $280 -- that's it. No upselling, no unnecessary work. They called me back the next day, told me I needed a new engine, and gave me an estimate around $6,500. I went in and asked if my engine could be repaired and was told no. I was charged a $100 diagnostic fee and took my car to Auto Clinique to get a second opinion. Once they got to my car, it took less than an hour to not only diagnosis but repair it and have it running again, all for $150. Saved me over $6,000! Update: I was able to obtain a refund for the diagnostic fee and they seemed willing to learn and improve.
