Stumbled upon this beautiful tiny plant based coffee shop and I'm grateful I did! Tried the iced caramel popcorn latte and the blackberry lime scones. This is very likely the best iced latte I've ever tasted and I drink a LOT of coffee. Parking is paid and street parking, so just be aware but its worth it. The Barista was so kind and answered all my questions. Definitely a wonderful way to start my day of vintage shopping in the Hawthorne area.

Came to exquisite creatures coffee as my first stop after arriving at the Portland airport and it was just what I needed to start my Portland weekend. Service is very quick and friendly, the menu is fun and very unique. I asked the barista what their favorite drink is and ended up ordering the popcorn latte. My husband went with a matcha latte. The presentation was beautiful, the cafe is cozy. The matcha was excellent! Unsweetened (they offered to add sweetener but he declined) and so earthy and amazing. The popcorn latte was very good but if I went back I'd try something different, maybe I just needed to stir it a little but it felt like an unflavored latte until I got to the bottom, and then the popcorn flavor and heavy salt kicked in. I'd happily return and try something else!

Ordered the kettle popcorn iced latte and the breakfast sando, both pretty good and would order again. Small shop with 4 - 2 person tables. Hear me out, exquisite and snow bunny coffee need to do a collab, with exquisite's coffee and snow bunny's frothy foam, now that would be 10/10.

Did someone say Popcorn latte ? I would have never known that I would love novelty flavors but off late I am realizing that I am into gimmicks more than I would like to believe . So I came in one day and chanced upon the popcorn latte and liked it so much that next time I brought my family in while they visited. The touch of salt and slight umami is what grows on you slowly and coffee and Popcorn just seem like a match made in heaven . My Family might or might not have liked it as much as I did but I can certainly say they were intrigued. We tried the Caramel and Theater popcorn lattes and also the Pistachio Meadow. They don't have a lot in terms of pastries and I have noticed that on both my visits that the options are limited. Seating is extremely limited and also not very convenient. Service is good and the barista is friendly and so are the owners .

Exquisite Creature Coffee is a small, cozy hole-in-the-wall spot with incredible coffee and genuinely excellent service. The cappuccino was a 10/10--rich, perfectly balanced, and even the cup it was served in stood out with a great feel in hand. It's an ideal place to get some work done or catch up with a friend in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Cardamon cold brew and pistachio lattes

Spent a weekend visiting Portland from LA and this was my favorite coffee shop out of the 6 I tried. The staff was super friendly and doing everything alone. Rockstar! We ordered 2 cardamon cold brews and 2 pistachio lattes. They were So good! Had some cute foam art on top. I really loved the flavor of my cold brew, I would come back here in a heart beat. A smaller space so definitely cute for a grab and go situation.

    Chai Latte and Cinnamon Roll

The cinnamon roll was almost like a hybrid with a cupcake and the icing was perfectly sweet and satisfying. My hot Chai Latte was a little cold, I'm assuming maybe because the dairy-free milk was refrigerated, but it was pretty tasty. While maybe not the world's best latte, I love a vegan business and the vibes in here were immaculate. All the customers were very chill and both employees made my morning special with their good energy and fun personalities!

Delicious drink, food and great service. I went with the pistachio meadow matcha and it was really good - you can get it with espresso too. Loved the flavor combo. Got it iced on the employee recommendation and it was spot on. I also got the classic egg sandwich with both Sriracha and miso aioli and was very good. Parking is a little tough, but it was a beautiful fall day so it was worth a walk! It's a smaller cafe and tables were occupied; cute decor and lives up to its name!

This is a cute and cozy location with limited seating best for parties of two. I truly enjoyed my visit and the customer service is top-tier. Excellent choice and in drinks and they do have decaf. They have a regular menu and a seasonal menu when it comes to their drinks. Some food options as well. The service was quick and efficient. There is no dedicated parking to this area. It is street parking only. I really enjoyed my experience here and the only reason I'm giving it four stars is for the limited seating area. I can't wait to come back and try more of their products. Cheers!

I've been here about 3 times, and have tried both the matcha & coffee. the space is warm & cozy, with a side of exposed brick wall, currently decorated for halloween, and a lovely dried flower arrangement paired with cement blocks in the corner of the seating area (3 parties). There's also an additional seating space that I think can house 2-3 more parties. Most of their latte drinks I believe can be made with either matcha or coffee. I had the popcorn latte (available in theatre, kettle, or caramel flavor) and while the flavor was delicious, was too sweet for my personal palate so I could only drink so much of it. This time I opted for the pistachio meadow matcha latte (pistachio & lavender syrup with pistachio dusting on top) - I did ask for it iced, but since it was a chilly rainy morning I'm sure my request seemed unusual because I received a hot drink instead. The matcha latte unfortunately, like in many coffee shops here, had too much milk (or too little matcha/matcha that was not strong enough to cut through the milk) so the flavor of the matcha did not really come through, but the pistachio & lavender syrups, along with the crunchy pistachio bits, still made it a decent drink. Overall I appreciate the space, the nice staff, as well as the creative drink options.

Omg get the popcorn latte!! It is so delicious and you can have it made to take more like kettle, movie theater or caramel. I got mine made to be more of kettle corn taste which sweetness level is right in the middle. I loved the art and pinch of salt. It hit all of my palate Overall delicious latte and a kickass barista who was friendly and chill.

Lovely hole in the wall vegan cafe, easy to walk past and miss. Inside there is a small counter to order at, and behind a raised area with four small tables so you totally can hang out and enjoy your treats here, or get them to go. I recommend enjoying your coffee here to fully enjoy the flavor and texture combinations, not to mention the foam artwork :) there's also outdoor seating for nice weather. WiFi passwords on the tables. Everything is totally free of animal products and the coffee specials rotate. I indulged in a Wintermint Mocha, Like drinking a hot thin mint cookie, and my partner got a Movie Theate Popcorn latte that smells and tastes utterly amazing - sweet and salty with crunchy buttery salty topping. Nothing I would ever think to try on my own, but it's delicious. Two options of hot breakfast sandwiches, we got the standard with just egg, a huge sausage patty, arugula, aioli and an umami miso spread. I needed to eat some feelings so indulged in two kinds of pastry - a blueberry danish and an almond croissant. Both so yummy. One barista holding down the joint when we arrived just after opening, soft spoken and extremely kind and helpful. A welcome greeting on a cold morning.

All vegan coffee shop with 4 milk options: soy, almond, oat, and coconut
    Robin M.

Exquisite Creatures markets themselves as a plant-based coffee shop, but I'm fairly certain they're all vegan. You can get drinks made with oat, almond, soy, or coconut milk. If you're a tea drinker, they have caffeinated and herbal teas. For food options, they have a good variety of vegan pastries made by local bakeries. Most of them are sweet, but there was one savory scone when I was there. I don't know if all of the pastries are made by Shoofly, but the one I ordered definitely was. They also serve a vegan breakfast sandwich on an english muffin. The employee who was there when I went in was super nice, and the bathrooms were clean. Street parking was easy.

Instead they popped off and all started fussing and being entitled and it was just gross. I was enjoying a fantastic dinner but that table was like trying to take the stage. I think they ended up storming out and one girl like stomped off and said she was keeping her cup !! lol I worked in food a long time ago. She had recommended it, was excited to share it with us. There was no single incident that explains what happened. Instead, it was a series of interactions that became increasingly dismissive, hostile, and ultimately humiliating. The first moment that gave us pause came when my friend's ID was returned so carelessly that it landed on the floor. The server then walked away without explanation, only to return and inform us she would not be serving us drinks. Being denied a drink was never the issue, though the manner in which it was handled felt abrupt and unwarranted. When we attempted to understand the concern, there was no effort to communicate, clarify, or review the additional identification we had available, including a passport. Instead, the interaction became increasingly adversarial. We were told we could cause the restaurant to lose its liquor license and were ultimately instructed to leave. At that point, it no longer felt like a conversation about identification. It felt like a complete breakdown in professionalism and basic respect. Before leaving, my friend calmly asked to speak with someone in charge. She was visibly upset, holding back tears, but remained composed throughout the interaction. Rather than attempting to understand or de-escalate the situation, another staff member escalated it further, becoming confrontational and referring to her as a "bish." I have worked in food service and understand that mistakes happen. Portland has no shortage of exceptional restaurants. I would spend my time and money elsewhere. 0/5

And they were pretty good, but clearly lacking the flavor fully marinated meat flavors that tacos are famous for. BUT -! Tonight my dreams came true when I ordered -- and promptly devoured -- the vegan carne asada taco. Never have my taste buds danced with such ecstatic bliss as when savoring this bliss of spicy sabrosa-ness! Next I sampled the 3 Hermanos Empanada-- the interior was and cashew crema was delicious...and here is my only critique: the masa-based "pastry" (that enfolds the interior) was too heavy and dense. Now, truth be told my standards are epically high for empanadas, as I come from THE OTHER PORTLAND (Maine) and, as odd as this sounds for such a white-bread state, the best empanadas I've ever eaten (and there is a long list of empanada places I have eaten in NYC and SF) is in Portland Maine (it's called Quiero, and for good reason). So if I could conjure the greatest empanada ever made, it would involve the pastry shell from Quiero in Portland Maine with the interior 3 Hermanos filling from Mis Tacones in PDX. Mic drop, I'm out! Ps. Incredibly colorful, arty and fun interior. Pps. Cute queer staff who steered me right and are definitely flirt-worthy.

You order at the counter, and they bring out your food. (Despite counter ordering, 18% tip is still the minimum stanard option they prompt you for.) We all ordered the Soyrizo & Huevo Desayuno ($18), a brunch plate with soyrizo tofu and potato scramble, refried beans, Mexican rice, a grilled jalapeno, some grilled onion, and a couple of corn tortillas. Very tasty scramble, though the refried beans were a bit oversalted. Huge portion -- very carb-heavy, would've preferred some veggies in here, but that's Mexican cuisine for you. Doesn't really hold a candle to authentic Mexican cuisine you get down in Mexico, but pretty solid for Portland / northern US. The coffees we ordered weren't great quality -- pretty weak and watery. All in all, reasonable value, huge portions, tasty mains. Worth checking out.

Our food only took about 20 minutes to come out despite a busy dinner rush and we were offered chili flakes to spice up our curries. was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Food: For the table, we ordered the samosas which were perfectly flaky and filled with fresh veggies. I ordered the ruby garden non alcoholic beverage as well as the tofu curry with coconut rice.
