WARNING: Extra space storage lets ANYONE rent storages. Criminals too in fact. My storage was broken into last week. The thieves came at 7:45 am and HAD A GATE CODE. Apparently just anyone can rent a storage, with false info and then cancel it the same day or before it's charged. It's disgusting that this is an actual business that I've been paying $230 a month to keep my stuff safe only they don't care about the safety of your belongings. Only about that monthly payment and ripping you off. I've been paying a high monthly ONLY for everything of actual value to be taken. Now im stuck paying that high monthly for things that are NOT worth it. My experience with extra space has been a nightmare. From high unexpected increase in rates, and now this. Please run as far as you can away from this company. They're not transparent and are extremely negligent. read more

I rented a unit from this location and on the 3rd month they raised my unit price by $100. I was paying $199 and now I'm paying $299. They said the price went because that's the going price now. I switched to this place because it was cheaper and they said the price could go up a little now and then but I was not expecting it the 3rd month and a $100. And I was only given a month notice. I guess they start their prices low on purpose and then hike it up after your settled. Shame on this business! read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! I was only here at this location for 4 months before my storage unit was broken into. Unfortunately for me, I am transitioning from one place to another. This was a temporary stopping ground until moving into a new home. I had very valuable personal items at this location. I only have 1 more week to go before my move is final and now my valuable, personal belongings and electronics are gone. I get it that some things like this happen but the reason for this review is the "security" they claim. There is no legitimate security. I thought my Unit selection was safe because they sell you on management living on-site, but that means nothing. Whoever stole my belongings, items, had a lot of time to do it. My unit was trashed. I received a call from Heather and on the phone I felt concern for my compromised unit break in. Seeing Heather face to face was the most discouraging part of this whole ordeal. She was insensitive and had to make sure I did my due diligence, call the local police department etc., in time as she was clocking out at 2 p.m. I got there around 12:45pm. Even though your property is in their facility, the minute your items are stolen, they make you feel like its all your fault. I had 2 locks on the storage door latch. She stated she had to leave several times even though I am in total distraught for the items lost. I was asking questions on video surveillance, even though my items are stolen, I cannot be a part of that investigation. She wanted to answer very few questions, she seemed irritated, rude, and disengaged. I work with clients for a living and even though there wasn't much she can do, she could have had some kind of compassion. She didn't have to remind me the time she was leaving over and over again and during my time of concern. It's different when its not you going through something where you feel violated and have money loss due to this. We are living in the most hardest times right now and having to deal with more and more businesses that don't care about their customers, really is disheartening. Our money goes to these businesses so that Heather can have a job. I will provide and update for those who may need advise on their stolen property at this facility. The local police department is involved and I'm praying I get some kind of restitution and truth to whats going on. P.S. This facility may have high ratings but that is only because they ask you to give them a Google review after signing up with them; after they sell you a safe place, after they butter you up to get your business, they ask to place a review. Of course you will get tempted because they seem to care, but I stress DO NOT GIVE ANY 5 star rating until you actually have been there for a month or so. See the full spectrum of the security there, maintenance of the property, if customer service is still there. I have only been here since Mid Feb of 2020 and my unit was thrashed and burglarized. Heather and the staff were very helpful in setting up an account, selecting boxes and finding a space close to parking so I could shuttle my massive Funko collection into storage while we set about selling the house. After selling the house, (at 55k above asking), we were alas, unable to find a replacement home even close to our current space, so we decided to stay.
