December 30, 2024 I received this injury due to this protruding foot-long piece of metal Sticking from the wall around a blind corner. I asked for a Band-Aid in the front office, and was scoffed at. "We don't give customers bandaids. Do you think we're a Pharmacy?" I had to go to the emergency room, Had to get a tetanus shot, Had to go on antibiotics, missed two weeks of work, and now six weeks later have a lifelong scar. Extra Space storage? Their response has been "Lady go f$&k off." Even their employees (Look online) Say the worst part about their job is how aggressive they are towards customers. I represent a 100% volunteer 501c3 and after years of half my bedroom being storage we finally could afford a storage unit. I was strongly recommended to Extra Storage (stay the hell away from Public Storage). Every time we come to the unit the complex is clean, climate cooling is working. We are raving fans of this storage complex. We booked a discount online and when we arrived Gabriel/mgr was wonderful explaining the discount could be locked in for a year if we pre-paid and the correct insurance. Year 2 Josh helped us with the next 2 years, helping us get the correct pricing. He has made sure we haven't had any problems. read more

I've been a customer with Extra Space Storage for 8 years total and going 1 year with this location. The manager is nice and very patient. The other employee, was not very helpful. I visited to check my locker after a military deployment but since it was a while he told me he was going to lunch and couldn't help me. He said he would call me after his lunch. I said no problem and gave him my number. He never called me so I looked at my old emails to find the password. Tonight, I was told that no one is able to go to their locker past 7pm. He said it's posted and nothing can be done. I didn't argue and figured that was the last straw and walked away. Some of us work long hours and want to drop or pick up items after 7pm. When it was open until 10pm it was very helpful. With the reduced hours and poor customer service. I regret to say I will looking for another storage unit. read more

Today (12/5) i rented out the storage. It was very easy to do it online. I got the code right away in my email with the storage number. This was my first time using storage so i got alittle bit lost, went to the office and i met the young dark hair lady with the glasses (forgot to ask her name). She was super helpful, she showed me where my storage is, explained how to get there, where to park, adviced to use their dolly because it's bigger then the one i had from u-haul and ever showed me how to use their special key for their lock. This place is by far the cleanest storage facility O have ever experienced, dust free, air conditioned, and plenty of carts (all in good shape) available without having to leave your drivers license to het a key! The elevators are enormous (and located at both front and back of the building, The staff is friendly and professional and access hours are the best i've found anywhere 6AM - 10:00 pm and the property is completely safe and secure (even the restroom is spotless!) Mgr. Gabriel Jaime and Roxane are super reasonable, professional and courteous! And, you get all of this at an incredible value! literally 1/2 the price of their closest competitors! my experience started off shaky because the website doesn't properly filter the "climate controlled" locations from the ones which aren't. since i store musical instruments, this is a must, and especially since i was looking at locations in the valley. the rep on the phone caught the error and stopped from signing a contract at the wrong location. that was a big plus, though annoying as hell that the website sucked so badly. when i got the confirmation email, the rep mistakenly had not copied my PIN number that i requested, so the PIN number defaulted to 1111, which was idiotic. after signing the contract, rosa from the location called to welcome me and asked if i was bringing my own lock (i wasn't). i told her about the website issue, and she went out of her way to comp the $16 cylindrical lock they otherwise would have charged me for. that was a big plus...shows they give a shit. also, they had a move-in special, so first month was free. the actual location is very secure, with access codes needed for parking gate access, building access, elevator access, etc. a very well-run and clean facility. and hours are 6 am to 10 pm. color me impressed. read more

Extra Space Storage was very easy and straight forward to rent. I didn't everything online and when I arrived the next day to occupy my rental storage space everything was ready to go. Very secure facility as well. The way the storage facility is set up made it very easy for my movers to load my belongs from the truck to the storage unit. Be careful when renting with this location. My in door unit was broken into. Had a small unit for 2 months when returning to the unit for only the third time I noticed my lock was tampered with. When finally getting into the unit noticed things where missing. When getting in contact with the location manager was told to come during the next available office hours to deal with the situation, that the rest of my stuff was safe until then, in the damaged unit. The the location manager couldn't do anything. They also would not wait till the police showed up for a report. read more

Made the process easy while on the phone, unfortunately, I have had to change my review because once at the facility, nothing went as planned and the property manager was unaccountable, unhelpful and unprofessional. He went so far as to blame me for the missteps that were made and things that were omitted though the mistakes were on his end. I have filed a complaint against him and unfortunately, although the facility is beautiful, I cannot recommend until they fix some managerial issues. read more
