When it came in, it smelled so good I had to invite coworkers to eat some of it in the break room. We were all hunched over in silence, shoveling food into our mouths. I had to run errands at Broadway and stumbled into Extreme Pizza. Just devoured the Garden Veggie Pie with gluten free crust. Omg the freshest ingredients and yummy seasonings. The attractive staff are all friendly and there is a gorgeous patio overlooking the waterway at Broadway at the Beach! Extreme Pizza? Yeah right. I visited this restaurant with a group of my friends on July 19, 2016 and was embarrassed that I chose this place by the end of the meal. Our server was amazing; this review is not a reflection of her whatsoever. My vegan friend ordered a vegan pizza and hated it. My friend who cannot have gluten found out that they didn't have gluten free dough in the size she wanted, so she had to order a smaller pizza. This is a red flag right away as it means their dough is pre-made and frozen. They also didn't tell my friend that the gluten free crust was an extra $3 so that was a little surprise for her when she got her bill. I ordered the Hanoi Fever pizza, which I was really excited about, but unfortunately it was extremely subpar. I was really disappointed by this. I also ordered a Bahama Mama frozen drink, which, to my dismay, seemed like it had no alcohol in it whatsoever. I did get to keep the glass it came in which was cool, and the drink was tasty, but there just needed to be more alcohol in it. My one friend ordered a pink lemonade which was very diluted and tasted funny, so after taking a few sips she asked for water instead. When the bill came, they made her pay for the lemonade, which was very outrageous to me and poor customer service as she barely drank any of it. The only thing that made up for whole meal was the Pow Pows dessert, which our server asked to have specially made with a different dough to suit the needs of our vegan friend. Our whole group loved this tasty treat. It should also be noted that it was really hot in the restaurant and it didn't seem like there was air conditioning on at all. Overall, this place is very overpriced, and I felt sick the rest of the night after eating the pizza. I would never return here and I don't recommend Extreme Pizza to anyone. There are so many other really great pizza places in the area that are affordable and worth the money. read more

We went here a couple years ago and we couldn't remember if it was good or not. They do have a lot of different options but the food is just not very good. We are used to homemade or fresh dough and there's no taste very dry and cardboard type. It must be frozen. Is extremely overpriced for what you get. I know it is in a tourist spot so that is to be expected. Will not recommend , But will leave three stars because our vegan friends that came with us liked the vegan pizza read more

Wish we could give them 4.5 stars. We all ordered pizza. Wingin' it, ghost wave, and one build your own. The crust was perfect for us. We like a thinner crust. Cheese was gooey goodness. My boyfriend and I have been in here twice this past week to eat. The first time our waitress was lovely and very accommodating. She refilled our drinks promptly and was super polite and very helpful with my allergy requests. The second time however, our server Duska M. Waited on us and our friend. She was hardly ever there, never brought condiments which were requested multiple times and took forever to tell a manager we'd like to speak to him. By the time he finally came we just paid and left because we were over it. He hardly cared that we seemed disgruntled and just walked off. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Service was very rude, could tell being treated differently just because of the color of our skin. The lady had the nerve to move some cookies that had been sitting there for clearly 5 min or more. As if we where going to pocket them. Everyone was on alert as if we where gonna dine and dash. Stopped in when visiting Broadway at the Beach. Pizza was mediocre at best. Sauce was watery and had little to no taste. Our pizza was made with the wrong toppings, but they did comp that pizza and made us a new one. Our ordered salad was forgotten and brought halfway through the meal. I really wanted to like this place. From the outside it seems very inviting. Upon entering and sitting at the bar I wasn't acknowledged for at least 10 minutes. So I get up and move to the center of the bar as I was on the far end. What I couldn't believe was a couple who had kids sitting at the bar were id'd and they clearly looked old enough. Had to ask for refills. The pizza is ok at best. I thought the crust was quite thin and toppings very thick. It was also kind of chilly inside as they had the front door wide open. Multiple and random people were working the bar. Overall it's getting a one star just because they didn't have a dedicated bartender working the bar exclusively. read more

We ended up here because it was the closest thing to Wonder Works; we should have kept walking... Not sure how anyone gives this place a good rating. Ordered kid's mac and cheese with fries, Caesar salad, cheese fries, large pepperoni pizza and chocolate chip cookies. The kid's mac and cheese was Kraft Mac and Cheese, but it was clearly made earlier in the day and microwaved. It was scalding hot with a crazy amount of steam rising from it. The noodles were orange-colored, but there was no cheese sauce to be found. The fries were okay; they had a crispy coating on them. The Caesar salad was made of romaine lettuce coated in an oil-based Italian dressing with pre-shredded Parmesan cheese - I mean the kind you buy in a package from the grocery store. Yuck. The cheese fries were good. Cheese and bacon on fresh fries! My daughter likes the pizza because it reminded her of Chuck E. Cheese pizza. And that's okay, except Extreme Pizza is 3x the price of Chuck E. Cheese. As we were eating our pizza, a waitress standing by the bar brushed her ponytail. Seriously. Out in the open. Eww. The cookies were okay - they were soft, but barely warm. A few were burnt black, but the waitress promised they still tasted good. At this point, we just wanted to leave. We went to Extreme Pizza for the first time & ordered the Yard Sale. It was fantastic. Usually pizzas with lots of toppings come soggy and full of grease... especially thin crust. They obviously put care into the baking of our lunch (I'm guessing they pre-baked the crust a bit so it would hold the toppings and stay crispy). It came perfectly crispy and loaded with fresh ingredients. I wouldn't ask for extra of anything (unless you like lots of cheese). It was perfect - full of fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly and not drowned in cheese (I don't love cheese). We didn't have a drop of grease on the plate. It is one of my top two favorite pizzas now. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a quality pizza with a little twist. Great new place at Broadway at the beach. Sandwiches, pizza, fries, calzones, etc. Pizza with good topping choices and a variety of sizes. I really enjoyed the fries and calzone. As for the price I would say it is fair. A huge pizza can serve 4 to 5 people, maybe 6 if mostly kids, for around $30. read more
