This place was just okay for me,we tried the 911 roll and it was okay..not great,it was a bit bland.We also tried the salmon wassacio and didn't wow me.The salmon tasted fresh and the sauce it was in was tasty although the wasabi was a bit too overpowering.The last thing we got were the baked mussels,those were pretty good but again,nothing great.The service,decor and environment are amazing I just was expecting more flavor from the food.My Husband and I go to Show Sushi a lot but with how packed it is we wanted to give this spot a try,I'd say overall it's nothing special but maybe I came on an off day. read more

I have been back twice now for happy hour. The salmon was melt-in-your-mouth perfect. The servers were kind and attentive. I used to go to to Sanyo, but their happy hour changed and is no longer a bargain, so I decided to give Ezze a try. Went here last night with a group of friends for the first time... CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVEN'T BEEN HERE BEFORE! The Happy Hour & deals are unbelievable and the food is great! There are deals on certain rolls everyday, Happy Hour (3-7pm) has the best deals of course, but they also have "after happy hour" deals too (which we made it in for last night) when all hand rolls are only $2.95 and a huge bottle of beer (3 glasses roughly?) is $3.95. SUCH great prices! Not only that, but the servers are SO sweet and friendly! We had great service & so much fun. I will definitely be coming here every time I want sushi lol. My husband I stopped for the first time about 2 weeks ago...sooo glad we did. We are not sushi newbies by any means. We have enjoyed sushi throughout the years at a few favorite spots around the San Gabriel Valley. After reading other yelp reviews and because this is right down the street from our house, we gave it a shot. We are excited to find they have some really great happy hour specials, lots of different rolls under $7. They all have specials that run all day too. We ordered the Monsters Inc, 911, and Devil rolls...they were all delicious. Everything was fresh and not over dressed...the size of the rolls were a mouthful...not small like you might expect...no cutting corners on happy hour! Everyone was very nice, which isn't something we always experience at some of our own favorite sushi spots. Last but not least, the bill came and was utterly impressed by the value...quality food and great prices. What else can I say...we will definitely be back! read more

Great sushi restaurant just had lunch with my daughter. Our waitress Esme really went out of her way to make my 8 year old happy. She wanted juice or milk which they do not serve but Esme helped her to enjoy lemonade in a to go cup. Try the spicy edamame and the shrimp tempura cut roll! read more

Very disappointing. I talked my wife into going here over a different place she likes. I wanted the happy hour. And I really liked the picture of the Brussels sprouts. We get there and the girl sets the high chair right next to the door. Like if someone swung it open, it would knock down the high chair. So after rearranging all the chairs ourselves we put in our order. The Brussels sprouts were well cooked, but tasted like they squeezed two lemons in the bowl. Like eating a Brussels sprout lemon soup. Our rolls came out, my wife didn't like any of the hh rolls, so she got one with spicy salmon on it. She hated it. I have to say, not the best. We got some salmon sushi and she thought that was okay. I wish I got a picture. It was okay, but it looked torn up. Not good presentation. Because my wife hated her roll so much we added two salmon hand rolls so she wouldn't be hungry. All in all, we spent $55 before tip during happy hour! we felt to ripped off. I did tell my wife to send back her roll, but we already ate a few pieces, so I just ate it. I don't know how this place has so many good reviews. I will never come back. I'll go back to sushi Maru and get much better sushi for much less $$$ read more

Unfortunately I have had to update this review negatively. I usually have a good experience here, and I don't know if this is because I did takeout or not. My mom and I go in to order takeout and pay for our food, we're told it'll be about a 20-30 min wait. No big deal, we head across the street to sprouts to kill some time. Come back 20 mins later and still have to wait for food. Again, no big deal. However about 5 mins after we are waiting, we're told by a waitress that the chef asked if we could wait outside. We are the only 2 people waiting in the restaurant. She apologizes and doesn't understand why. Alright. Kinda weird but ok if we're in the way and we know it's a small place so that's no problem. We go outside. Continue to wait another 10 mins. During this time we watch a group of 5 people stand right in the same spot we were and wait for a table. No one at all of the tables look anywhere near being done. Also one of the kids in this group is sitting at the bar munching on a bag of Doritos. What the heck. When our food is finally done it's brought to us outside with no apology of how long we've waited or made to wait outside. At this point it's been over 40 mins. Also we had one order of chicken teriyaki that ended up being cold because of the long wait. Kinda annoying. Sorry for the long rant fellow yelpers, but this lack of customer service is what makes me give a bad review. Which is something I rarely do. Unfortunately for me their amazing happy hour will continue to bring me back here. I just hope their customer service is better in the future. read more

Great sushi place (I've been to many). Happy hour specials are really good, so are the daily specials (those are the menus I ordered from). The salmon sushi quality was top notch; great tasting fish and the rice is interesting, slightly sweet and different than most sushi rice I've had. The 3 rolls I had were pretty tasty. The Ezze roll with the mango was pretty amazing. I'm not sure if they make their own soy sauce, but even that tasted different than the normal kikkoman. Service was spectacular- I despise the tipping "system" and I joyfully tipped 18% due to the quality of the service and food. read more

When I first came here it was their first soft opening day, they were very sweet and helpful. I didn't feel rush nor did I feel obligated to get anything different than what I wanted. They have amazing customer service!! Not only is their customer service really good, but their food is AMAZING! It's only been a week and a half since their soft grand opening and I've ordered from them four time already. I strongly recommend the avocado salad, the dressing they use is phenomenal it has a kick but if you do not like spicy you can request to have the dressing nonspicy. They make their dressings from scratch, btw. The Glendora roll is also delicious!!! It's completely vegetarian but it is super delicious!! Also their poke ezze bowls are delish and has two different sizes the small size is good for me as I get full from it. Another thing I recommend is their milk green tea. It's super delish!! I look forward to trying more of their selections as they have so many!! I'm glad they are just up a couple blocks from where I live and from my office. read more
