I had a gift card to doordash and seen this place on the gluten free list. I thought why not try it out. I ordered the Orange Chicken bowl. It was delicious. It was very spicy. A good spicy but next time will ask for the chili and sauce on the side only because i have issues digesting spicy foods now. The amount of sauce was good though. I can say with certainty that while it's great to see a place that makes it easy for a person with celiac disease, I wouldn't order from here again. I ordered the Gluten-Free Impossible Beef and Broccoli w/ steamed brown rice as the base. I added steamed tofu, onions & peppers and additional roasted broccoli. I was not impressed. A more appropriate name for this dish would have been "Gluten-Free Kale and Broccoli." For the price, the portion was nothing more than a medium sized cereal bowl's worth of food. Going through GrubHub, my ordered rounded out to be $32. Fees aside, I would expect a much larger portion. But lets get into the flavors here. Everything was incredibly bland. The amount of steamed brown rice paled in comparison to how much kale they stuffed the bowl with. Despite adding additional roasted broccoli, there were only a few pieces. One would believe that if broccoli is part of the dish name, it would be one of the focal points instead of the kale. As far as the impossible beef, it was the only thing that had a little bit of flavor. The portion however was no more than two spoon fulls. For a $1.50 to add the steamed tofu to the dish, I'd expect to get more than 4-5 small cubes. The onions & peppers were mediocre at best. I would hope that the addition of those two would add more depth to the flavor of the bowl, but it didn't. GrubHub didn't have a way for me to right a review for this order so I turn to Yelp. I recognize that F#ck Gluten is based out of San Francisco, but in reviewing the menu on this page it's clear that what the prep kitchen in the "food market" prepares is that of this establishment. For the price, I was expecting a lot better. My experience with the food from this restaurant is so, so underwhelming. I'm not sure about any of the other menu items, but if this Gluten-Free Impossible Beef and Broccoli bowl is any indication, I most definitely and not going to spend any more of my money to find out. What was very apparent to me with this dish is that the way things were portioned out, they tried to stack the dish with the least expensive ingredients to fill space. Not so long story short, I would not recommend trying out this place unless you want to spend $20-25 on a bowl that wouldn't fill up a 10 year child in portion size and severely lacks flavor.
