We ordered the bbq steak bowl. The beef was like little pieces of charcoal that had been cooked a long time ago and it arrived cold. The rice was only half cooked so we didn't dare eat it! We had ordered from here before but this time we received much smaller portions. Sad. Wondering what's going on here.

Food was good and a huge portion size! Loved the fries, I think they were best without any dipping sauce. Will definitely have again! *sensitive to cross contamination and was fine!*

My food had a piece of cardboard cooked in to it. I got a "make your own asian inspired bowl" and it was sub par at best. The mushrooms added were an additional charge, $1-2, I believe. When I went to bite into the mushrooms to try them, not only did I bite in to a large piece of cardboard but the musbroom were very tough, smelled bad, and tasted very old. Paid $20 per bowl of food and could only eat a couple bits because of how unappetizing it was to find something non edible in my meal but also for the taste to be so disappointing, unfortunately//: I did not feel good after eating just a small portion of the bowl. are refunds possible?

I had a gift card to doordash and seen this place on the gluten free list. I thought why not try it out. I ordered the Orange Chicken bowl. It was delicious. It was very spicy. A good spicy but next time will ask for the chili and sauce on the side only because i have issues digesting spicy foods now. The amount of sauce was good though. No complaints about the food, size or taste. Id order this again! The cauliflower surprisingly looked like it was a fried beef but it wasn't. We also had the make your own. Ginger garlic soy sauce with flash fried cauliflower roasted broccoli. This was really good too. Def order this again. The amount of onions and bell peppers were perfect. I will be ordering from this place again

Food was gluten free, but strangely had no flavor. Would eat their French fries again in a pinch.

I wish they would mention that their weekend morning to lunch menu is different from the one displayed on their website. I drove all the way here for the main pizzas/pastas for my birthday, but we were only limited to breakfast food and burgers on a weekend afternoon. Also, I understand that weekends get busy, but our server did not check on us at least once. They were only present to take our orders and then drop off the check. As a former server myself, I am very aware of these things. It appeared that there was some down time to check on a simple 2-top as she was walking up and down scanning the tables. I can say that this is not reflective of the previous times I've dined here as the service has always been very pleasant, and the food never disappoints. For minimum $20 per entree, you would expect the servers to check-in on how the table finds their food and whether or not there is something they can provide to make it better.

I love the chilled soba noodles bowl. The September monthly Cubano burger wasn't on the menu when ordering on the tablet. Speaking of burgers, I am so happy they offer lettuce wrapped and gluten-free buns. For the kids cheeseburger, can you please offer a gluten free bun option? For the avocado and chocolate ganache, can you also offer a smaller size? The managers definitely read every single review and responds to each one which is very much appreciated. I dined with three people who had never been before and I was very interested in their reaction. Everyone gave it a thumbs up and loved it. We ordered a bread basket for the table since we all started with soup or chili. The basket is limited with amount- one roll, one cornbread and seeded wafers yet there was enough for everyone to split. I had the corn soup. It was quite good, perhaps not the best I've ever had but certainly up there. They rarely have a roasted tofu dish, brochettes seeing it on the menu, and having it pointed out by our waiter I definitely ordered it. Glad I did. It was awesome. The tofu was amazing, just perfect along with mushrooms, tomatoes and onion slices. All of it worked so well together. There was a side of orzo salad with a variety of fresh veggies mixed in- so good. I washed it down with an excellent glass of Sauvignon Blanc and plenty of water was provided. For dessert we shared a chocolate cake with ice cream and a peanut butter parfait. Both were good. The parfait came with candied peanuts and a brittle- a bit of a jaw breaker. Overall the meal was excellent and very enjoyable. Service was wonderful and attentive as is typical. If you're ever considering trying vegetarian food come here first. Well worth the visit.

Walking in I wasn't sure what to expect because it looked pretty run down. I wasn't expecting fine-dining, but the place didn't have a welcome feel. We were the first table in when they opened, but unfortunately the service felt a bit cold from the start. Our server seemed disengaged, which set a less welcoming tone for the meal. The food was just okay for us. Our kids enjoyed their spring rolls and "chicken" nuggets, which were an easy win. However, the entrees we ordered were quite salty and didn't have much depth of flavor. Afterwards, we realized they don't use garlic or onion, which would have been helpful to know ahead of time since it really affects the flavor profile. If we had known that, we likely would have chosen a different spot. Overall, it wasn't quite what we were expecting given the menu and reviews. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't stand out for us in a city with so many great food options.

We wanted to give this place a try considering it looked like a high end Vietnamese restaurant. Keep in mind, that parking is very tough so make sure to come ahead of time to find parking or uber/lyft. Items on the menu priced are on the higher end so keep that in mind. Some photos of the items ordered are missing from a little distraction. We ordered a lot for family style and this is what we experienced... Bo Tai Chanh 4.5/5 It was nice and refreshing. Loved the crunch of the pickled onions and the extra added flavors of the fried shallots and garlic. Great starter and we enjoyed it. Banh Khot Caviar 3/5 The inside was a little undercooked for me. It was still wet and pasty but the exterior was crispy . I couldn't really taste the caviar. The shrimp was cooked nicely. Blue Fin Tuna Tartare 4/5 Very refreshing and nicely seasoned. Tuna was fresh and tender that it gently melts in your mouth with a nice initial chew. Banh Cuon 4/5 It was good but we wished there was more considering how much it was. Nuoc mam was delicious. Bo Luc Lac 4.5/5 This was an absolute banger. Beef was super tender with no struggle of a bite. Savory and delicious with slight sweetness from the tiny onions that melts with every bite. Potatoes cooked perfectly. Chinese Long Beans 4/5 Simple and delicious. We ordered it so we'd have some greens and fiber for a balance dinner. Lemon Grass Grilled Wings 4.5/5 Flavorful sauce, well balanced and the wings were juicy on the inside. It had a nice concentrated smokiness from the grilled marks. Great choice but wish there were more. Crab Fried Rice 3.5/5 This was good but it was too fishy the more you bite into it. It was too pungent and strong that it overwhelmed the dish. Was thinking it could be from the masago. Drinks 5/5 The cocktails are great and refreshing here. Our favorite was the Banh Bo Gimlet. Service 5/5 Staff are friendly and helpful. Also attentive to us as well. Ambience 5/5 Love the decoration and aesthetics of the restaurant. Coming back from Vietnam it feels like I somehow teleported back in an instant. We had a good experience overall even though a couple dishes didn't meet our expectations. Definitely try everything when you're visiting, but I highly recommend Bo Tai Chanh and Bo Luc Lac. Those two are what stood out to me. I'll definitely come back but on special occasions or if there's another sapphire reserve benefit since it's a little difficult to justify pricing for items on the menu.
