I love the pizza. Great selection of sandwiches and wraps. Their brooklyn square pizza is also unique and tasty.

We've read about Fabio's on SPF FB page for years and finally visited tonight. Husband had chicken parm and fries ( had to take the fries home) and I had a daily special Chicken Cacciatore with penne. The server was friendly and I mentioned this was our first visit. She brought drinks and delicious garlic bread while we waited for our food. The portions were huge, piping hot and delicious. The cacciatore was filled with chicken, mushrooms, peppers, onions, sauce and tomatoes. I probably brought more home than I was able to eat there. While waiting I had a clear view of the pizza making and order/pickup area - it was very early Friday evening but the place was hopping. Clearly they were all returning customers - a great sign. One of the owners - Ronnie was behind the counter greeting customers and making things happen. This is how to run a business!! Great meal, great service, happy customers who will return. read more

I really wanted to enjoy your spinach stuffed pie, but it was all stems and too chewy to eat. For $24, I had to throw it out. If you could just remove the stems so it's not so chewy, or use better spinach so it's not all stems, this could be a great pie! read more

First, I am 100% Italian who grew up with authentic Italian food my entire life, so you know we are critical! We have had a few good pizza experiences with Fabios so we figured we would try their dinners - all I can say is WOW!! It was the best Italian takeout I've had in a long time. We had their mussels marinara which were HUGE and delicious. The sauce was exactly how a red seafood sauce should be - sweet and delicious. We ordered the Chicken Sorrentino with brown sauce - which was enough for us to have for dinner and lunch the next day. Their "side" of pasta was huge! We asked for vodka sauce on the pasta, and I saved the best for last. Most Italian places throw some cream in their tomato sauce and try to pass it off as vodka sauce. Authentic vodka sauce has the smoky taste of the prosciutto and peas! It was the best vodka sauce I have had in ages. We just moved to the area and have been scoping out places to become "regulars" at and Fabio's is definitely on the list!! read more

Went there and sat outside..overcharged for small pizza..tasteless to boot..figured i would give it another try..called in an order for delivery for a personal pizza with veggies..over 21.00. Are they insane..i would say thats gouching a price..disgusting..i cancelled the order..literally 5 mins later and guy tells me pizza is already made..how could a pizza be made in 5 mins?.so i told him no way pizza can be made that fast and cancelled my order..idiots! Not impressed this place used to be a great neighborhood spot and had great food. I dont know what has happened to it but its not the same at all. We order pizza, baked ziti, lasagna and a meatball sandwich. The baked ziti and the lasagna pretty much tasted like the frozen kind you can buy in the store with good melted cheese on top. The meatball sandwich had maybe a total 3 meatballs on it cut in to halfs like come on talk about cheap. The pizza is still decent at least but its a real shame about the quality of there dishes. read more

He comes to the door with dog treats in hand - yes the pizza here is good but it's the little experiences like this that go above and beyond which separates one establishment from the next. Consistently one of the better pizza places in the area. I'm giving it 3 stars unfortunately as I normally get pizza at places like Keste and Joe's of Greenwich Village. That said, our family always gets our local pizza from here as the nearest very good pizza is over in Summit. A new brick oven pizza just opened up nearby and I hope they recover because even though that one is closer to me after trying it there is no way in hell I would not drive to Fabio's to pick up their margarita style pizza. The other new place while fancy is basically fake. They are selling Neapolitan style pizza's like Keste only they forgot that you need the oven to be going at 800-900 degrees to cook Neapolitan style pizza. In the meantime out of the area pizzerias I am sticking to Fabio's. read more

Fabio's is a regular stop for my husband when he gets off the train and he knows he may need to pick up dinner. He calls it in and it is ready when he gets there. It is also a lovely place to sit down and relax and have a casual and lovely dinner. The food is consistently good. On Mother's Day, at the last minute, we needed to find a place for dinner and we went to Fabio's. The service and the food was as wonderful as always. But to top our lovely meal off they gave us canolis on the house (and we think their canolis are the best around). They also gave the mom's a lovely wrapped fresh carnation! Brooklyn pizza is delicious! We finally tried Fabio's after moving to Fanwood a few months ago. I'm glad we did. Fabio's is a great go to pizza shop with Italian dishes as well. We've only tried their pizza, salads and soups but all was good. They offer many online options for ordering. They do get very busy and sometimes it's a longer wait for food.. well worth it! read more

Went to Fabio's yesterday after my grandson's concert. I asked for a table for 6. It was 830. The waitress responded saying "Just so you know, we close at 9." With that my husband ordered pizzas to go. We would have gotten dinners if we ate there. I thought that was very rude. There were 2 or 3 tables there all ready. I worked in the restaurant business for many years and we sat people until closing time. I would not have ordered pizzas at that point, but we had to eat. I would think twice about going back to this restaurant after their rudeness. read more

Almost 2 hours to get a cheese pie delivered. Called after an hour and was told it was leaving in the next couple of minutes - 40 minutes later and still no pie I was told they couldn't help anyone tonight. I worked in the food industry for years and am very understanding of how busy things can get but when you don't disclose the extensive time on the phone and feed the customer a line when they call back isn't acceptable. Love this place - we started trying them once they advertised under new management and they have not disappointed. We've used them for pizza night at our house and the pies are delicious! We've also ordered food for catering, our guest loved the chicken franchese and the penne vodka. The fried calzones are so yummy and the sub sandwiches are amazing! Delivery is always fast and hot! I'm really disappointed. Sitting here for more than 2 hours after ordering delivery. I'm all about support local but they still have try to make an effort. Never waited this long for a food delivery and they weren't even apologetic when I called. They just threw me on hold and didn't come back. I won't order from them again. Please keep supporting local business, but not this one. Check their reviews since July...plummeted from almost 5 stars down to three in less than 4 months so I'm not the only disappointed customer. read more

Used to be one of my favorite local pizza places. Even used them for both of my kids birthday parties back in April. Let me preference my review with my meal tonight was tasty and reasonable. I am annoyed however that I was hit with a surcharge for using my credit card. No mention at the time of purchase or when I handed my card to the waitress. I find it very deceptive. I mentioned it to the waitress and she pointed to a tiny tiny sign at the register mentioning the surcharge! I don't plan on coming back because of this so they lost a longtime customer (11 years) over a couple of dollars. I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant that has charged an up charge for using a credit card. You'd be better offer raising prices 5% then doing this tactic. read more

This place is great for take-out. Ronnie & staff aim to please. Their food is delicious. We especially love their eggplant parm, sausage & peppers, pasta with meat sauce, & chicken caesar salad. This has been a restaurant I've ordered from for years. I have never had a problem until tonight - I used slice to order online. I ordered at 4:30 for a meal to be delivered at 6:30. It is now 8 p.m. and two phone calls later, food still hasn't arrived. What I also found bothersome was that both times I had them on the phone they took no responsibility for what was happening. It's a real shame this business can not handle the orders that they take. The food is pretty good, but just about impossible to get delivery if there is anyone else in Fanwood also ordering. They send confirmation emails that the order was received and will be delivered in 60-90 minutes. After that 90 minutes passes you can call and be transferred to lines that no one picks up or put on hold for 10 minutes at a time for them to finally ask, "What did you order? Oh, it's not made yet. Just give us another 20 minutes." This would be a respectable business if there was a way to close out when they've reached their capacity of orders. This is not the first time. I'm sure they won't actually make any changes either, because obviously they are still getting the business. read more

I tried Fabio's a few times before writing a review. The pizza here is OK, but certainly nothing special. There are several places nearby with better pizza. I tried the cavatelli and broccoli one night and it was pretty bad. There was so much oil it was hard to taste anything else. We also had the baked ziti which was decent. There is some outdoor seating that is probably nice in the summer. However, I would not set your hopes too high for the food here. read more

After reading through a few reviews and decided to drive by and check out the bistro, while staying nearby. What I found at Fabio's was a brisk takeout and the food being served looked great. It was Halloween and we expected that it would take a while to get a pizza so we ordered at 5:45 while trick or treating expecting to get our pizza in approximately an hour. Two hours later we call again to check in and they say 15-20 minute wait, 30 minutes later we called again to be 'transferred' to no avail. About three calls of being repeatedly being put on hold the pizza was still not there. I would never order there again especially on a busy night. The customer service was so bad and each call was like five minutes of them messing up our name and order I would recommend you just go to a different, more reliable pizza place in the neighborhood. read more

I ordered A 1/2 TRAY OF PENNE VODKA for Christmas Eve and it was TERRIBLE! It tasted like re-heated penne with sauce not Vodka pink sauce! There was no peas and prosciutto hardly in the tray! Which by the way a definition of half a tray is not a tray that would fit in a pizza box (that is how they gave it to us) which if you can believe cost $53.00!!!!!!! OMG I went back to Fabios and spoke to the owner who was so rude and not understanding to the situation! He wouldn't give me a credit on my card! He wouldn't give me a gift card! Not even a pizza!
