The beer is great! My wife also has had a creamsicle slushee that was great. We love beer tree beer. This was our first there. The AC wasn't working upstairs and it was hot AF. It was awful. Downstairs was closed for a private party and was nice on cold. Figure out your HVAC issues. C'mon. Also, your food was NOT good. The menu sounds great, but is absolutely not well. We had a chicken sandwich and pizza. Will not eat there again. If people are eating this as 4 stars, they are nuts. Again, great beer and drinks. I've only been here a few times, but I've been consistently delighted by both the Factory and the Downtown facility. The beers are interesting and varied (always happy to get a black lager -- not many places brew 'em). I won't claim to have a particularly sophisticated palate, but the beers taste great, and they seem to taste like the descriptions. I love the wide variety of sours. The menus are full of fun stuff -- we were delighted, on our last visit, to get dill pickle pizza. If you're the kind of person who'd order something like that (clearly, my partner and I am) then you'll be delighted with it. Our only complaint is that we wish there was more dill on the pie. I was blown away by the small wild grain bowl side, which was both an amazingly generous serving, and deliciously savory. I can only imagine how big the entree is, and how good it is with a bunch more stuff thrown in. Usually folks add stuff like vegan entrees as an after-thought, but this was awesome. The mac and cheese was not quite as amazing -- the beer cheese sauce didn't rock my world -- but it was still solid. On past visits, I've been delighted by the fries and poutine, and, looking over the rest of the menu, there's lots of stuff I'd like to try. We've lucked out (reading the other reviews) and generally had pretty solid service. I don't know that anybody wants to be my new best friend (and I don't know that I want them to be), but we haven't ever starved. We just waltzed into one of the last tables at the Factory this last visit, but I seem to recall waiting a bit on a previous visit. Similarly, we had quite a wait for a spot at the bar on a busy night Downtown, but once we were seated, both the bar staff and the other patrons were pretty cool. This is by far my favorite beer tree location. They have cocktails as well as the beer rotations both of which are delicious. I recently went and had the Naples pizza(pic) and try both the red and white sangria and it was the perfect after work dinner. A friend let me try their steak sandwich and it was just as amazing as the pizza. It was really steak strips with lots of flavor. On top of great food and drinks there was live music when I was that was set the perfect food to hang out and let the worries of the day go. I recently dined at the restaurant for the 4th time this past week. Every time I've been I have been impressed. This past experience was sub-par compared to my other experiences. Our table was ready for us by the time promised. Our server was nice and attentive, but the rest of the experience left something to be desired. We ordered an appetizer which came out after our main meal was served. The food also did not come out at the same time which was also annoying. I wish that the kitchen had coordinated our appetizer and rest of the food better. The food was solid, as it always is. My friends, all who were new to Factory enjoyed their meals and the ambiance. Just had dinner here with my family and now we're all fans! We arrived around 5:30 on Saturday and were seated immediately. They were fairly busy but still had a few open tables inside and outside. They have a pretty large taplist featuring their own beer and a few ciders (not by Beer Tree, I think). There's also a wine list and, of course, soft drinks. The taplist was pretty heavy on the IPAs but they did also have good choices for other types of beer. I got the Finding Bigfoot Russian imperial stout. Love at first sip - very strong and velvety-chocolatey. Also pretty heavy-hitting but that's to be expected with 9% ABV. Their food menu is mostly standard new American fare and definitely has something to please just about everyone. The pizza menu has some more adventurous selections. I was tempted by a few things, but ended up going with the Crab Pizza, and was very happy with my choice! The garlic sauce was so good and the very subtle kick of spice was unexpected and fun. The pizza was $21 which is not a bad deal at all considering it's big enough to be shareable. For dessert, I had the Espresso Cheesecake from their rotating dessert menu. The espresso flavour was concentrated in the ganache topping rather than throughout the cheesecake like I was expecting, but I still loved it. The different layers were cool and the cheesecake had a very pleasant texture. Besides having a great meal, we all really liked the environment of the restaurant. The location is great - the inside has the artsy converted warehouse feel (which you'd expect from the fact that it's actually an old Sears) and the outside patio is fun on a nice day. Both inside and out are very spacious. One thing of note is that the water, at least on the patio, is self-serve from a cooler. I like that this gives the staff one less thing to worry about and that it gives you the ability to refill whenever you need it, but I did feel bad about having to dodge staff and other customers on my way to and from. Our waitress was very nice and great at her job. She was very patient answering questions and her explanations were helpful. She checked in on us frequently, but wasn't "hovery" at all, which was much appreciated. read more

My partner, friend, her baby, and I met up here as a halfway point from Rochester and where she lives in NJ. Good choice and we'd do it again! I had the crab wrap ($16), partner had the BBQ chicken pizza (a special, so I'm not sure how much, but pizzas are $11-$16), my friend had the smoked turkey melt (also a special), and we shared the loaded fries ($9). My partner and friend both thoroughly enjoyed their meals; mine was just okay because it was weirdly spicy and over-grilled so I could taste it. The housemade chips were good. We all enjoyed the beer cheese on the fries, but the portion was pretty small for $9. Their selection of housemade beers, ciders, and seltzers is impressive! A good variety and thorough descriptions of each. You can get a 5 oz. pour of anything on the menu to make a flight, though it would be nice if they had prices for those and a stand if you wanted more than one or two. We all enjoyed the beers we had. If you're bringing kids who need a high chair, maybe bring your own or wait a bit because their high chairs are currently defective and they're waiting on parts. A little weird, but we were able to make do because my friend's son is still small enough. Excellent service. Lots of seating, well-spaced, and plastic dividers for big tables. The take-out pizza experience I had the last few times was great (see previous review) but it had been a few months since we ordered from this place, so we decided to dine in and it was, well, disappointing. Our waitress, frankly, was not very attentive. Asking for no bacon, receiving a house salad covered in bacon. Normally when I ask for medium rare steak, the mistake is that it is over-cooked. However, this time it was decidedly very rare and undercooked. Later that night my stomach was uneasy, and I'm guessing that's why. My SO got his usual pizza and did not think as highly of it as he usually does. Not sure if something happened to this place but it was just subpar to previous experiences. Then when we had food to take home (because I lost my appetite from the steak issue) the waitress set the box inside-down on the table. Just a careless conclusion of our service. For context, neither of us drink alcohol, so we can't comment on the selection. But we had enjoyed this place previously without it, so keep that in mind. My experience has been pretty inconsistent to say the least, so they could stand to put more effort into training their staff. read more

Stopped in here after Binghamton Porchfest on Sunday, 8/31/25 at about 6:45 PM. We asked for "two for outside please" at the host/ess station. There were many available tables. The young man and woman standing there didn't acknowledge us at all, but started looking down at a screen with a diagram of tables, quietly talking, pointing and disagreeing. Still no acknowledgmenet at all. I finally said, "we'll meet you out there" and went out on the deck to sit in the lounge area. Finally, after 5 minutes, the young woman seated the party that came in after us on the deck, still not saying even the first thing to us. I thought for a second that maybe Beer Tree has a program to hire special needs or intellectually challenged young adults. I'm still not sure, but we left and I won't ever go back there again. Best Brunch Spot! Came here with a friend for a girls brunch. The atmosphere is spot on and it offers a safe dining experience with spacing between tables and barriers. We both had our eye on the creme brûlée French toast but my friend saw avocado toast on the menu she ended up ordering that and trying a bite of mine. As you can see in the pictures the food presentation is superior to most places in the area. I love the contrast of the green sugar disk with strawberries on the French toast. The French toast was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The hints of creme brûlée come in with the dip they use to prepare it. This dish is an A+. Her avocado toast was plated beautifully. This restaurant puts a lot of thought into their presentation as well as their flavor combinations. The prices were under $20 a person which is fantastic for what you are getting. I'm honestly sad Beer Tree wasn't around when I was a student at Binghamton - this place was great! We were looking for a brunch-like atmosphere, so the factory location (by the mall) was the perfect spot - it is huge and has a lot of outdoor seating, covered by individual table umbrellas. Their beer list is extensive and every single thing I got was amazing - my favorite was probably the raspberry jamming' but their sour on tap was a close second. They also make crowlers of what they have on-tap to-order, and have a stocked fridge of cans. Their food was really good too! The pretzels and beer cheese appetizer was honestly some of the best beer cheese I've ever had- could have easily eaten an order alone. The pizzas are large and enough to feed two people to one! I ate here a few months ago, excited to hear they had a vegan pizza option. I am allergic to all dairy products, pistachios, walnuts, cashews and chestnuts ( I go into anaphylactic shock) I warned my server of my severe allergy asking to confirm with the kitchen to make sure the vegan cheese was safe. I was told it would be fine. IT WAS NOT! I ended up in the emergency room fighting for my life for the evening. I survived and dealt with days of pain and suffering to follow. I called and gave them my info. Never heard back from them. Also Months later after the incident they have not included in their menu with any statement of the contents of their vegan cheese. Sunday brunch at the old Sears store? You bet, but it's been magically converted to another location for Beer Tree, the locally well known craft brewing company from Port Crane, NY. The beautiful mid-spring lent us the luxury of enjoying outdoor dining on the enormous deck. We were seated immediately, as we arrived at 11:30 am, but in a few minutes the line outside the front door was longish. Our drinks came right away, our order was taken in a timely fashion, our orders came without delay. Everyone loved their chosen meal. We had a steak & egg breakfast sandwich, avacado toast, a breakfast burrito, a bacon flyte, and Creme Brulee French Toast. We all found every bite to be delightful. The drinks were a Mimosa, an Orange Mango Shandy, a Beermosa, and an orange juice. I definately recommend Factory at Beer Tree for brunch. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff cordial, and the menu choices broad enough to please nearly everyone. If you haven't tried Factory, give it a shot. I visited the Beer Tree for dinner. I ordered the Sesame tuna chilled noodle bowl ($26): Sesame seared sushi-grade tuna steak over a chilled soba noodle salad with edamame, bell peppers, scallions, carrots, cilantro, and ginger tossed in a toasted sesame vinaigrette. I ordered a side dish of macaroni and cheese. They have other great selection of side dishes. The meal was delicious, and the ingredients were fresh. I loved the macaroni and cheese. I also ordered the Raspberry Jammin beer 16oz. It is a light beer and tasted great. I'm not a beer drinker, I prefer wine, but this beer was perfect for me. The waiter was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. He was willing to bring out some beer samples. I tried the Fika: stout coffee & hazelnut. It's a dark beer, a bit strong, but great for the end of the day. It tastes like dessert to me. I did love the fact that it wasn't bitter. Great beer. I would recommend it to coffee lovers. I would drink it on a Saturday morning chilling by the pool. The prices were reasonable. They have their beer selection in cans or growlers. I ended up purchasing a 4-pack of the Raspberry Jammin and a growler of the Fika. I took some pictures of the menus. They seem to have a great selection of pizzas, which I will try next time I come there. The atmosphere was casual. Great to hang out with friends and kids. Second chances I came in for the drag show and brunch. My initial experience with dinner was not good but I gave it a try again because I believe in second chances... most of the time. I don't love beer (which is not what I'm reviewing) but I did have their cider (forgot the name but it was a purple ish color) and that was delicious! Very poor customer service. When we asked for water, it came out 20 minutes later. My group was visiting from out of town. We're clearly in our late twenties. Our server was incredibly rude when she asked for our IDs - since we had out of state IDs, she required that we produce two forms of ID. Fortunately for my friend group, we had a combination of credit cards and a military ID to prove that we were, in fact, in our late twenties. Would not recommend this place. It's overpriced and the servers seem to invent their own rules. Perfect evening for a dinner on the deck. They have a very good drink menu with cocktails, wine and of course extensive beer selections. The food menu has a nice variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. I had the grilled chicken caprese sandwich on ciabatta bread with a side salad. It was good but a bit dry.
