One of the largest growing new markets in beer is non alcohol beer. With growing concerns over impaired driving what is it to you if the beer has no alcohol you still make money. If you can't make one carry one. Lagunitas makes hop water and non alcohol IPA. You lost my business until I can drink safe. You should provide quality products for designated drivers and responsible beer drinkers. When you decide to step up and be a responsible drinking establishment please let me know. Being a designated driver should be an enjoyable experience and be respected by your establishment. Not treated like a child. Those of you who think this is funny obviously haven't had a family member killed by a drunk driver. I ruins the lives of both the family of the dead victim and the family of the drunk driver. Not what it looks like! If you are going for good food, this is not the place. Just like their location in Port Crane, food is limited and not very good. I went for lunch for my first time. The decor and atmosphere is nice; very modern...but they fall short. The patio is large but had no covering or umbrellas so couldn't eat outdoors. The meal was way over priced. The beet salad with very small cubed and uncooked beets was way expensive and they charged me another $5 for chicken. My total bill for one person with a very poor salad and ice tea cost $22. I would go else where and most likely not come again or refer this place to others. I guess if you just want to drink beer, then this might be an ok place to visit. It is a really fun atmosphere, have been going on Wednesday nights for trivia pretty religiously. The bartender has done a great job given the sheer number of people she is serving. Great beer options and I have tried quite a few different beers out of my norm. Food is always tasty, the steak and the burger are both great options! Our waiter dissuaded us from ordering the wings, not because they were bad, but because they had so many orders backed up that it would take forever to get them. Obviously something has to be done about this. We got some pretzel things instead as an appetizer. They were good, but come on, I don't go out to eat for pretzels. If you're ever in Binghamton I highly recommend this place. Its at the end of a mall and was apparently an old Sears store. It has several different rooms, a great big bar, and beautiful deck to sit outside. Our table had the Capricciosa wood fired pizza, Cellerman fries, and the grilled vegetable napoleon sandwich. Went to the factory by beer tree for the second time a couple weeks ago. I decided on the pasta alla vodka with salmon. When it came, I instantly smelled a very fishy smell and knew the salmon had not been properly cared for prior to being cooked. I have a college certificate of food sanitation and my instincts told me not to eat it. Unfortunately I did go ahead and eat it thinking it wouldn't be that bad and thought I had a strong stomach. My wife decided to dine & drink (downstairs). We walked & waiting to be greeted. We waited and waited while staff walked by & ignored us. Many minutes go by and other's customers showed up (one in a wheelchair). Everyone stayed there waiting and still nothing. I went up to the bar and asked if we can eat down here. It got really uncomfortable in there so my wife and i wanted to give the place another chance. We walked upstairs and immediately we saw a sign to go to the hostess station. Downstairs had no signs and staff seemed like it was a joke that everyone stood there. Anyways, we were immediately greeted by the hostess. She was really nice. But she tried to sit us at the same table with 4 men. That was it for my wife and I. We said no thanks we are leaving. Staff still did not care. There was plenty of open tables. I'm a new wine drinker, so the waitress recommended the pink moscato. It was amazing! A party in my mouth! I treated my friend to lunch/dinner, who is apprehensive about going out do to the virus but she was comfortable, as there is a ton of space to ensure social distancing (located where Sears formally was in the Oakdale Mall). I was also delighted to see there were vegan options. We both enjoyed the food/drink, atmosphere, and kind staff. The very first time I heard about this place, was from my parents who both ended up getting food poisoning from this place. Weeks later, I still decided to try it as I've heard mixed reviews and wanted to try it for myself, but ended up literally Sh**ing myself after eating it. Super disappointed, I was hesitate to write a review because we are huge lovers of beer tree in port crane but we have been here 5 times now and although the beer is always good the food is not at all. I have tried EVERYTHING on the menu and there is one item I would order and that is the chicken sandwich. How unfortunate! Compared to the sister establishment this was a disappointment. The food looks nice but does not taste nice. There is no flights either which is a bummer! One of our favorite features was the flights. We always highly talk about beer tree to all our out of town relatives and take everyone to port crane location but the few Times we went to Johnson city location everyone walks out dissatisfied. We ordered beer cheese the other day and it was completely water and when we brought it to the waitresses attention she just replied with "yep that's beer cheese" and walked away. And we have order that beer cheese before and it was NOT like that. The food is inconsistent, flavorless, and I would no go back there for good food. We were back home in Binghamton for a high school reunion this weekend. The day after the reunion we got together with some old friends at Factory by Beer Tree. What a great experience! The beers were excellent and the food was delicious! The atmosphere is really nice, they've done a really nice job converting an old Sears store. Factory by Beer Tree reminds me a lot of a local establishment here in Framingham MA, Jack's Abby. Keep up the good work! read more

Very disappointed we had three in our party. She was quick to take our order but when it was time for the food to come out only one of us got served. When she finally realized she said said oh they didn't bring it out? When she went to check the other two ordered were never submitted. So she had to ask us again what we got . Almost 30 minutes later our food finally was served , but one order was chicken on the brew house salad not the salmon we ordered , the salad also was just greens and dressing no cheese, olives, tomatoes bacon as advertised! She just shrugged her shoulders and said I thought you said chicken. Very disappointed and we still paid full price not even an offer Of a beverage or dessert to make up for the delay. Enjoyed a delicious late afternoon lunch here on the best weather day of December, 2020, which also meant we were able to be outside and socially distanced on their spacious deck. My husband and I split a Chicken Pesto Wood Fired Pizza and an order of Loaded Cellarman Fries; both selections were delicious with fresh ingredients, a wonderful blending of flavors and generous portions. Our beer selections were more diverse -- I chose a lighter selection cream ale, Tree Light, which fit my palate perfectly, and my husband chose the more robust Into the Forest, a Double New England IPA which has been a recent favorite of his. Service is terrible. Food is ok. Waited over an hour for food to come to table. Burger was rare when we wanted it well done. It also was the wrong type of burger. Took nearly 20 minutes for us to get the attention of our fleeting waitress to notify her. They offered to make a new one. When this came out it was still not cooked right and this time had the wrong side with it. Waitress acted as if this was an inconvenience to her and did not even apologize. Beer Tree is the rebirth of the Oakdale Mall. My family loves the Beer Tree location in Port Crane but this location is so nice and centralized and utilizes it's infrastructure perfectly. One of the few places in town that feels that "next level" in quality. Beers are fantastic. I walked in an IPA guy, but the sours continue to impress me. For food, my group got a few of the pizzas, and couldn't decided which one we liked most. Once the weather gets nice I expect the porch will be my spot. read more

Went last night for dinner with a group of friends and we were sorely disappointed. We sat downstairs and there was great live music. What we didn't know was you had to order off an app. Food came out randomly. The person bringing the food didn't know whose order was whose. The burgers were way overcooked- one person ordered medium rare and it came out like a hockey puck. One person didn't get their fries until they were almost done with their meal and one couple didn't get their pizza until the entire table was almost done eating. Oddly enough the app asks for a tip but you served yourself plates, silverware, condiments and had to go get your own drinks. Typically the burgers are the best meal on the menu so not sure what happened last night but definitely not fans of the new way orders are being done. Stay upstairs. read more

We will give this place another chance - I believe in second chances! The place is very big and a cool atmosphere. Our server was wonderful. We even have a friend who works there! However we had to take Pepto-Bismol after our meal once we got home lol. That's never a good thing. The sautéed spinach which I hoped would be a healthy side dish was drowning in liquid that must've been oily and fatty. And the buffalo cauliflower was also sitting in a pool of greasy liquid. Gordon Ramsay would've had a conniption fit! My husband got a burger and said it was OK. I got the fried fish sandwich - what I liked about it was that it was very dark and crispy. For me, when some thing is deep fried the darker the better. But it was not seasoned and I had to ask for salt and pour a lot of shakes on my sandwich. The tartar sauce also lacked pizzazz... The coleslaw was made with Greek yogurt... Why bother trying to be healthy when these other things are so greasy? Just go ahead and use some Hellmann's. That's my advice there, because I do like a good slaw ha ha. The french fries were stellar. Again, I don't like blonde french fries these were a nice medium crispness and color. Apparently their specialty is pizza so next time we will try that and we now know what to avoid. I don't drink beer but my husband got a good one read more
