Omg the service was great except we only had one waitress for 16 people. I sampled everybody plate. The shrimp and chicken wings both are large with a nice crunchy batter. I have been waiting to have dinner here for about a year. Finally with some friends in from out of town we had the chance. Strip ordered medium but one side was rare and the other side WELL done. Sent back and the next one was rare. Wasn't about to try a third time. Two other meals had no issue. The fourth had to get sent back to get cooked a little more to medium rare as it was barely cooked on the first try. Mashed garlic potatoes were good and came out hot. Waitress was apologetic but the kitchen needs some training. When a steak costs over $30, get it right! I won't be back. Many other restaurants to try. We went here for my birthday, I loved it. We ordered the appetizer sampler which was spicy chicken rolls, quesadillas, potato rolls & fried pickles. We loved them. I ordered a Long Island iced tea as a throwback, the prime rib, salad & loaded potato. My baby got the Cajun chicken pasta. Very displeased today with my order. I ordered a salad (that's comes with a cup of soup) I upgraded the soup to a "bowl" instead of a cup and this was the size given. Excellent choice at $9.99. The wings were priced likewise and perfectly fried. Crispy with just a slight breading. The buffalo sauce was, unfortunately, heartbreakingly disappointing. No heat, no flavor. At first I thought I may have received the wrong sauce in error -- is this teriyaki? BBQ possibly? No, just poor execution of this bar staple. We go for the breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings. Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, gravy, ham, fruit, various breads, all kinds of sweets... so good. The salsa at the beginning of the buffet... amazing. The biscuits and the service... meh. The soft drinks are over three bucks a serving. Which is high for great service. After looking at the menu and seeing the prices, I thought it was be a more intimate and less casual setting. However, the actual ambiance almost felt like a chain restaurant to me. Our server was good, pretty attentive. At our table we ordered; 6oz sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes, salmon filet with asparagus and walleye filet with asparagus. We got the potato rolls as an appetizer. Potato rolls were ok. However, It tasted just like they put mashed potatoes in spring rolls. My friends both enjoyed their fish dishes. My steak with ok. Good flavor, decently cooked but nothing too amazing. I give 4 stars because it was clean, not too expensive and wait staff was friendly. I stopped in on my way from Chicago to Indianapolis at about 6:30. Highly impressed with first impressions; the artwork and attitude of the place was classy, but not pretentious. I had a dress shirt and tie on but would be just as comfortable in jeans and a Tee. The Chicken Park was very filling and tasted better than expected. They had three toppings which were warm. The fresh fruit was not good. They had watermelon cantaloupe, pineapple and strawberries. The only fruit edible was the pineapple. The watermelon was dry and the strawberries and cantaloupe were crunchy. The had a lot of sweets: coffee cake, cheesecake, donuts, etc. Almost too much of a selection. Coffee was $3, which for breakfast is kind of priced high. I could get a Starbucks for less. So for 2 adults and 2 coffees it cost $30, without the tip.
