Fetzger is so great! I love their work and customer service! Good friends lent me their car for weeks! Last Monday the tire pressure warning light appeared. I took it to Fetzger. They tested in the left rear tire was soft. Build it told me to monitor it and come back. I had a problem. It took minutes. Last night I went to return the car and the light was back. I took it in this morning without an appointment and they were able to take it test it and figure out a small screw head pierced it. They sealed from the inner side of the tire and it should last the lifetime of the tire. Great customer service and the cost was very reasonable . read more

I care about family owned businesses so I went to Fetzer when I first moved here and had a great experience with them. It wasn't until recently when my wife had to take her car in for new tires that all trust in them was lost. They put her car up on the rack and took her tires off and said if she tried to drive the car off the lot they would shred (she drove the care there with no problem)... By doing so they forced her to buy the tires from them instead of being able to go to one of the other 15 tire shops in Fairfield county and making her take an uber home even tho she needed the car. I lost all trust in Howie and his team and those are the last two tires i will ever buy from them again. read more

Came to Fetzers for a second opinion and they said MY BRAKES WERE COMPLETELY FINE and nothing needed to be done. Would love to talk about their service, but they declined to serve me. I recently purchased a set of wheels and wanted to buy tires and get them mounted. Fetzer said they would not mount tires on a set of new wheels that were not purchased from them. I guess a defect in the wheel could result in damage....but...the end result was I have a new set of wheels and am in search of an installer who will mount the tires. read more

Went to work on Thursday (May 6th) and was sitting in the parking lot. A guy stopped his car and told me I had a back flat tire. I took it about a block away to Fetzer tire and THANK THE LORD....they were able to fix it. The guy that helped me; his name was John. He was very friendly and helpful. He said it'll take 20 minutes to get be in which was fine. I guess the other person before me didn't show up cause he took me quicker. I'd like to say what a great service Fetzer tire offers. They fixed a puncture in my tire for around $30 dollars plus tax and got me out quick so I could go to work up the road from there. Great service and very courteous person. If you have problems with your car take it there. From what I read they also do brakes, oil changes and alot of other things. Really wonderful service. I came here about a year ago with two flats. They got me right in. The longest I've had to wait was no more than 15 mins for service, granted the place was packed. Employees are extremely knowledgeable and explain your best options in terms of safety and in your best interest and not in terms of more money for their business. I always work with Jesse. The only thing worse then getting a flat, is getting a flat when you're 150+ miles from home and your car doesn't include a spare. This is what happened to me several weeks ago. I was in the area visiting a friend and had the misfortune of picking up a screw in one of my rear tires. The tire held air long enough to drive a mile or two, but something certainly needed to done before I could head home. I stopped by the local dealership to inquire about replacing / plugging the tire, but found out that neither was possible, the former due to the unusual size not being a stocked item and the latter due to the performance rating of the tire. I called around to a few more places and received a recommendation for Fetzer. I pulled into the shop, which was easy enough to find, and explained my situation to the employee there. He informed me that instead of plugs, they patch the tires, removing it from the rim and applying a seal on the inside. While the tire wouldn't retain it's max speed rating (understandably so), it would be completely fine to drive on until I was ready to replace them. Entire process took about 30 minutes to complete, extremely speedy considering the lack of appointment. They talked me through every step they performed, and answered a ton of questions I had. Very knowledgeable and professional. I've had the patch in place since the incident, without any problems. Cost was around $40, not bad considering the difficulty and size of the task. One of the nicer and more knowledgable tire shops I've visited, would certainly recommend. read more

Long time customer for the whole family. Took 2015 car in for tire rotation the other day and was told that I needed new lug nuts. They claimed that the newer model cars (at least many of them) had problematic lug nuts that had a chrome cap and became disfigured. The tech and front desk manager said that the ones on my car had this issue and that the typical tools would not work on it. Bottom line is they said I needed all new ones. I of course trusted them and said ok. They placed the order and I came back 2 days later for the work. Arrived to be told that they ordered the wrong set and apologized. Then the tech (a different one) reported that all of the existing lug nuts were fine and showed me that the typical tool worked on them as well. The person at the front desk said he would look into what happened and assured me he would call back same day to report in. He never called.... I am really disappointed as it seems that someone at Fetzer was running a scam and trying to drive up their repair revenue. I try to support local family owned businesses vs the big chains like Town Fair Tire etc. This behavior destroys trust and patronage... read more

Without any doubt, the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a tire change. The employees were helpful, courteous, and went the extra mile, all with a smile on their faces. Honestly, my two visits -- first to have a tire leak diagnosed, a tire taken off, and a spare put on, and a second visit to put on the new tire -- was nearly as easy as going to a soda machine. They also went out of their way to observer COVID19 mask and distance protocol. Prices were very favorable, too. Howie Fetzer and his team of professionals are the "go to" place for tires, brakes and an independent "second opinion" on car repairs. They are honest, trustworthy and fair. I have bought two sets of Nokian tires through Fetzer and they are the best all around tires for winter and all season (you won't need a second set of winter tires). I also had them put on a new set of brakes (Akebono) for my Audi Q5. The new brakes have no squealing and much less brake dust. Finally, I had a warning light come on my dash and they were able to diagnose the problem and reset. Unless you are under a dealer warranty, forget the dealer and try Fetzer first. I have had new tires put on in under an hour and have had several patches from nails in my tires repaired. They are friendly and they carry the good stuff for your car. Amazing experience today at Fetzer Tires today. I spotted a nail in my right tire and needed to quickly fix due 140 mike drive tomorrow for work meeting. Unfortunately, I showed up at end of the day the employees already departed. The employee asked about my issue, explained my long trip and he reopened the store to fix.
