Came here for lunch on 2/15 while I was at a training nearby. Ordered the Badmash burger. Came during lunch time so it was pretty busy while we were there. A small boutique kind of a place with about 5 tables. The head cook up front knew how to run the kitchen. Reminded me as a tame Gordon Ramsay. Some yelling but in a teacher kind of way. I could tell he was passionate about putting the food out as quickly and efficiently as possible. The burger was juicy but there were pickles in my burger event though I asked it without pickles. They're generous with their portions and the meal is enough to share between two people or have for yourself with plenty of leftovers. I was offered a refund, but I wanted to support this business and the hard working employees, so I ordered the philly wrap with chicken, because they were out of gyro meat of course. First, when my eyes first met the stringy thing of a baklava, I thought, "No thanks. Noodles as dessert?". However, I asked the cashier what the stringy thing on the baklavas were and he explained to me that they were not noodles. Because I judged it prematurely, I wanted to be fair and come to a just conclusion. I, bravely, picked out a string, and it was as if I had plucked a harp! The flavors and the unique texture of the soaked stringlike dessert were even more delightful, as if this string piece was accented with a staccato. Each pluck of the stringlike dessert was joyful. Then, comes baklavas number two. It. Was. A. MASTERPIECE! Traditional in style and texture, but still giving that staccato sensation to every bite. I had the Philly fries and holy amazing best-greek-fries hands down I've ever had. I didn't expect such yummy food from such an unassuming place. We ordered our food and sat outside at some of the little tables on the patio. The staff were very kind and brought our food out. Something that made me chuckle a bit is one of us had a glass plate, one of us had a recyclable/reusable plastic container, and the rest of us had styrofoam containers. The service was quick - the gents behind the counter were friendly too. Ordered the gyros plate - just under $10. Nice big plate - lots of meat. Meat was good - cooked authentically. Definitely the best of the meal. The tzatziki was quite good too as was the pita. Hard to judge the humus - unfortunately it was mixed with the tzatziki on the meat and rice. Not a big rice fan - it was ok but a bit too much for me on the plate. The salad was the lowlight - plain and no Greek dressing or olives/feta which you kinda expect. I love the falafel platter here. I can't speak for the other items because I cannot stray away from what I always crave when I make the trip to this place. The platter includes Falafels, Rice, Pita Bread, a bit of Salad and Hummus. I appreciate that the portions served here are a really good size. All the included items taste great together, and Falafel corner is one of my favorite places to go out to eat. I want to mention that they seem to be inconsistent with handing out their small side of hot sauce when picking up your food. I like it, so I ask for some if they don't offer me any; it seems the level of spiciness varies between visits.
