Bookmarked this place and have not had a chance to stop by, but guess what, I thought about you guys yesterday at work and decided they need to step up their game and add you on our Friday lunch menu. Low and behold, went to site and printed menu. I was chosen to choose our lunch menu for today. Our forecast calls for hummus and falafels! Friday work lunch, yeahhhhh I got the most called for shawarma hummus plate with all the fixtures. You've got hummus, your sweet peppers, pickles, onions and they all go so well together. Added in a falafel and it's da best I've ever had. Their pita is fluffy and warm when it got here and I couldn't finish my plate. 4/6/23 It's alright, but nothing particularly special. My Chicken shawarma though was on the dry side... 1. Shawarma Pita $11.91 "young boneless chicken marinated with slow rotisserie cook": So they make this the traditional way, on a vertical spit. I dunno if there's a way to cook this better but the meat's definitely on the dry side. If it weren't for the fact that the pita is filled with lots of sauce and probably some water from the greens, it's probably dry enough to choke on. Like for reals. Every few bites I had to drink some coke otherwise I'd choke. 3/10 2. Cream Bavaria $4.58: I liked this. Comes in a smaller container, but given it's so rich it was plenty. They have some crunchy stuff on top but since I didn't eat this 'till I got back to work and hour later (we ate the rest at the restaurant) the toppings turned soggy. But I do think fresh it would have been good. 8/10 3. Falafel Ball $1.56: They actually gave me 2, probably cause these are the smallest falafel balls I've had. A humble location, this place offers amazing food at a great price. The price point is not to be trifled with. With how much prices have shot up everywhere for nearly everything in the past two years, this place is sticking with what's now a really great deal! I got the Jerusalem Mix which is described as follows: "Chicken breast tenders free range chicken thigh and Maui onions sauteed with special Mideast spices." I got this on a salad, and it was incredibly filling. So much so that I didn't feel the need to eat for the rest of the day. The place is interesting because of the fact that the walls are transparent, so it looks like we're sitting outside when in actuality that's not the case. I'm a little bit sad about this place. I just went again yesterday, and I got a falafel salad. It's a lot of food, plenty of salad and 10 falafel balls. The portion seemed to have shrunk, and the babaganoush was an odd mixture of eggplant with mayo; I was really disappointed by that. The falafels are still amazing and delicious, and the pita bread is super chewy and fresh. The rest of the salad was fresh but didn't feel very refreshing for some reason. The green sauce wasn't as flavorful as I remembered it to be, and hummus was just alright as well. I love the outdoor seating though! Food was about $10 post-tax which is pretty pricey for a salad but the falafels are great! read more

This is my family's go to place for shawarma. We still go to falafel drive-in on Stevens Creek when we want falafel, but if we're just craving good quality Middle Eastern food, we always make a point to come here. Our go to orders are always a chicken shawarma plates and the sabich. Their fries are always extra crispy, they give you a generous amount of hummus, and the chicken is always very tender and seasoned so well. We almost always order extra falafel balls because they are so flavorful and delicious. Order inside, and if you got Shawarma they will call your number and you can build your plate on the left. Otherwise, you get in line on the right and tell them what ingredients you want in your salad or plate. We've tried ordering ahead before, and it doesn't always work out because of how much customization they let you do when you order there. It can get really busy, so try to come during an off time so you don't have to wait too long. read more

Second time at Falafel Stop and it never disappoint me! Environment: we had a family meet up. It has indoor and outdoor seating. It's super chill environment. You order and then sit down Parking: there's a parking lot right next to the restaurant. Easy to find a parking Food: Falafel Salad (Score 5/5). It's a really good price for what you get. They should rename this place to Falafel GO. It is hands down my favorite casual Middle Eastern bite. Whenever I struggle to think of something to eat for lunch or dinner, Falafel Stop is always an excellent answer. Pitas are warm and fluffy. Hummus is deliciously smooth. My favorites are the chicken shawarma in a pita for a very filling meal, or shawarma on Israeli salad if I'm feeling like refreshing greens, or shawarma on a plate because you can't beat the spread of items and it always lasts me at least 2 meals. While they aren't the cheapest casual/quick meal, you pay for quality and quantity here. Depending when you go, and most times I've been, parking is a struggle and there's a line of people waiting to order and pick up food, and the setup can be a bit confusing. It was a crazy line to order food at this place. Once you order, you stand in respective line for vegetarian or meat order. It was quite interesting to see how the meat counter was almost empty and many people in vegetarian line. I ordered Masabacha Hummus Plate and Falafel Wrap. Now falafel wrap might be quite filling for one person but hummus plate not really. It's served with one pita, hence you should just order a side order of extra pita if you have a regular sized diet. The wrap has some falafel chunks, loads of veggies, chili and green sauce. It was better than how the hummus plate tasted. The hummus plate is made fresh, the server takes some garbanzo beans mixes them in hummus and adds requested veggies on the top. It might be off the taste depending on pickle or other veggies you put. But truly enough the pita was the best ever pita I had. It was so nice, fresh and soft that I ordered one more with side of 2 falafels just to snack on midnight. Surely would want to go back and try other falafel options. read more

I'm a regular at Falafel Stop because I kid you not, this place serves up the best most moist and fresh Falafel balls you will ever eat. Not just this, the hummus is also incredibly smooth and authentic, and the Pitas are made in-house! The prices are about average (honestly I would pay almost any amount for their Falafel's) and you get a lot of fresh food! They really need to consider expanding, because the line for Falafel Stop can get kind of lengthy, and parking isn't the best, and you could wait up to an hour for your food, but it's well worth it! The owner was also out having the line sample some Falafel balls, to keep us waiting. I ordered the Sabich Pita this time around, and the eggplant was perfectly crisp, and it melded well with all of the other ingredients in the Pita. There was a little too much hard-boiled egg for me however, so I think I'll stick to my Falafel Pita. My first-time trying desserts here, and the donuts were alright (loved the jelly), but the Bavarian cream was the perfect amount of sweetness and reminded me of a sundae. Come here and get the Falafel! The Shawarma is also melt-in-your mouth (so I've heard), but the perfect amount of moist and crisp in one ball is only available here. read more

First time here - ordered a Falafel Pita. The sandwich was reasonably tasty, perhaps, because of the red and green sauces. The tahini sauce was sparingly added towards the tail end of the assembly. The pita was not soft and pillowy and was thick. The falafel balls did not taste garlicky nor did thy have visibly any parsley or cilantro in the falafel batter. Falafel Stop is great for a quick bite with big portions and fresh ingredients, but I do have to say that as an experience it's not the best. 1. The layout is confusing for first time diners - you're supposed to pay at the cashier, and then line up for the vegetarian/meat counters for your order. I've been here a few times now and I still get a bit confused on whether I wait for my number to be called or go up to the counter. Better signage would fix this, or more direction from the employees. 2. The prices and portions are very reasonable - I shared a Jerusalem chicken hummus plate and some fries + falafels with my boyfriend and we were both stuffed by the end. The total only came out to about $25. 3. The food - I think the flavors are all very good, but there's something to be said about the way the different elements meld together. I'm very big on sauce, but I have to say that my plate was a bit too wet with all the different sauces/dips that they include. Got the shawarma and falafel plate but the worst part wasn't the food or service, but the massive long hair(I have short hair) I found in my food. The food was super bland and had no flavor at all. This is my n-th visit to Falafel stop and its always great. The vegetarian / meat separation is perfect for vegetarians. Best part they are clean and keep it clean in all conditions. Now they have a more professional looking menu selection process but the food is the same great tasting at each visit. Teh menu is simple and healthy. I just hope teh red sauce they serve is spicy enough as it does not even register. The chillis are more spicier. This is a israeli falafel place. The other competitor is falafel drive in which is another classic and something not to be missed. One bit of warning is that the fries are cooked in same oil as teh chicken. So if you are a pure vegetarian then avoid the fries. Maybe they'll add another frier once things improve. read more

Unpopular opinion. I was really excited to try this place considering they have 2k+ positive reviews and 4/5 star rating!! The thing that makes this establishment stand out is the fresh ingredients for the salad plate. They are very generous. Everything is finely chopped. I ordered a sabich pita; for some reason, that day the vegetarian line was slower moving than the meat line. Their food is always solid and it did not disappoint this time. It's almost a little bit spicy, for those who are not able to handle high level of spice like me, but balanced out by dairy. PARKING: there is a parking lot next to the restaurant that actually holds a good amount of cars so it shouldn't be too hard to find something. WAIT: Came on a Sunday around noon and there were about 5 people in line but it didn't take too long to order. I probably waited like 5-10 minutes before I was called to get my food. ORDER SYSTEM: It's a little confusing but you first have to go inside towards the right and order at the cashier. If you are getting food with meat then you wait for your number to be called on the left side with the meat. If you get something veggie, you can go straight to the veggie window (on the right) to give them your ticket/receipt and get your order. FALAFEL SALAD - at the veggie side, they'll ask you if you want everything (I just said yes) and if you want it spicy (I also just said yes). They then pile on a bunch of items onto your plate, add spicy sauce, 10 falafel balls and a fresh piece of pita. Honestly, for a place with Falafel in the name, I was hoping for more. It wasn't bad, don't get me wrong but it wasn't the best falafel i've had. They do give you a lot of food though. CHICKEN SHWARMA PLATE - when they call your name they then ask if you want everything. If you don't, specify what. However, I did tell them at least twice that I don't want any cilantro and she put it on top anyway :(. Came here on a Tuesday because we were in the area for some drinks. I think I had this place bookmarked because it was on Check Please? But not 100% sure. Either way I'm so glad it was bookmarked (and open later). Ordering is a bit confusing if it's your first time. When you walk in, there's three different places to walk up but you order at the window on the right side. The middle is for picking up, and the left side is where they call you when your order is ready. The person helping us was super nice and could probably tell we were brand new lol. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and helpful. We ordered a chicken shawarma on majadra and a pargieyot classic hummus plate with some falafels to share. I'm not usually a huge fan of meat, but I could not stop eating the pargieyot. The flavor was so good and the chicken was perfectly cooked. It went so well with the hummus, pita, and all the sauces combined lol. Although both portions were big, the shawarma portion was so much. It was like a mountain of food. I liked the falafel inside but it was a bit dry and the pita was extremely hard to keep together so I opted to use a fork to eat.
