Everyone was friendly from the second we walked in until we left full of great food and drinks! I had the special, a Cuban sandwich with truffle fries. Deeeeliscious! So much food, I had to take half home. The husband had the pastrami and rye with fries, again Deeeeeliscious! He had a superb beer, sorry, he doesn't recall the name. But it was good and refreshing, perfect with his sandwich. I had a blackberry Arnold Palmer, very summery. I loved it. Again, I have to say how friendly everyone was. It was such a great experience. Also, they make their own fries! I heard a noise while we were enjoying the outside patio area and when I got up to get to-go boxes I saw someone in the back cutting potatoes. First time in Eugene, went here for lunch and it was an awesome brewery. There was inside and outdoor dining, order at the counter system, good variety of food and drinks, and great service. I got the Au Jus with a side of fries. I never thought I'd be obsessed with ketchup but I think the ketchup was homemade and it was so delicious. The soup that came with the sandwich was delicious too. Parking is easy as there is an alleyway parking lot right next to the restaurant. Will definitely be back! read more

The food and ambiance are great, but the consistently friendly and genuinely welcoming service is what makes this place great for me and my little family. Definitely kid/friendly place, but even moreso, many of the quality humans that work there connect to my kid with respect and warmth, and it's a huge deal for me. I'm a strange bird and they are consistently easy going and genuine, and I value it so much. My go-to is the entree salad! It's good-sized and I leave feeling full, which doesn't always happen with salad. My impression is that the people making the salads there actually EAT salad, and know what makes them great. I haven't visited since the pourhouse was moved, but previously, their cocktail and brews menu looked divine, and while I'm not generally a cocktail or alcohol person, these creations sound like such a treat that I'm scheduling them in. My little kid likes what they like, and I like to try new things, so I'm grateful to have this family-friendly place where we can enjoy genuinely, consistently delicious meals out in the community. read more

I really wish I had a better experience with Falling Sky... but my food today was just wholy inedible and the response to it was insufficient. I was a regular at the now closed Delicatessen on Blair and got to know the menu very well over the years. So I was very surprised when I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was the texture of a 1" thick rubber band. I mean dang, this thing squeaked like I was biting into a bouncy ball. Mind you, this sandwich was $18. When I asked the cook about the substandard food quality, his response was "Let me look at it. Well it's cooked so best I can do is throw it back on the grill for you but it's going to be the same piece of chicken. Im not going to replace it". A bit of back and forth but I decided not to push any further and leave. Not coming back here, there are better options within similar walking distance for my family. read more

One of my all time favorite places in Eugene - both as a student and as a postgrad. They have a large selection of beers (every single one is great) and their food is delicious as well. You simply order at the counter and seat yourself. There is indoor and outdoor seating - we luckily came on a sunny day so outdoor was the place to be. I ordered a burger and it was cooked perfectly. I find it weird to rave about their ketchup but it is so good. It is homemade and pairs perfectly with their fries. This is a true Eugene gem! read more

Friendly staff and we were happy that they were open till 11pm. We tried the Kolsch beer which was actually pretty good. Two of the dishes we ordered had french fries and we were a little surprised at how burned the fries were when they were delivered. We were guessing that they were only open for another hour and 15 minutes and maybe they re-cooked the fries or used old oil. When I went to pay at the counter I brought up the condition of the fries to one of the serving staff and she sounded surprised saying, "oh, they weren't good?" She had served us the fries and saw how burned they were when she put them in front of us so she was definitely aware of the condition of the fries. I asked her if that has how they normally serve fries. She immediately replied that she would take $3 off of our bill. Not sure where to begin with a reply to that. I told her that we were just happy that they were still open because we were hungry and wanted a beer and food. Beyond that, I received no explanation and no answer as to why the fries were this way. The staff was well aware of what they had served us and well, picture attached to explain what we received. Baffling as to why and why they would act like they didn't know. One of the dishes was fish and chips so, the "chips" were almost half of the meal. read more

Entered starving. Exited stuff. We started with a couple hazy IPAs - delicious and citrusy. Split a "small" /generous side of Cajun fries. Not spicy but tasty. The arugula salad with sunflower seeds was fresh and perfectly dressed with a lemony vinaigrette. Also tried the fried pickles. Yes they are dang tasty. I'm not a big ranch dressing fan, but the dressing here is homemade with fresh dill. Nice. The jalapeño dipping sauce was the best. Not that spicy but Uber fresh with green- ness. Exceptional Turkey club sandwich. Real fresh carved Smokey Turkey , thick Smokey bacon, delicious homemade garlic sauce, 2 kinds of cheese and a thick tomato slice. So glad we split it! Well over exceeded expectations. The food was very good. The service was excellent for a walk up an order type of restaurant. The burger was amazing exactly how it comes. Excellent find when traveling through with my parents. Fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the salad with strawberries and homemade dressing. Added grilled chicken that had such a lovely flavor that I asked the chef for a hint. Found out that a homemade marinade was used. So yummy, We snitched some of my dad's French fries so we all enjoyed the great seasoning on them and the homemade ketchup. Dad enjoyed his Kotche beer too. Will come back when I visit Eugene. This place was solid. Good beer, good food. Not a fan of the order at the counter service. For the prices, it seems like waiter service would be warranted. However, what was awesome was the yelp check in offer of $2 off a signature beer or off food, in addition to the yelp cash back of 7%. Take advantage of these great deals! I really appreciated this and will definitely come back again because of these offers! Other businesses, take note. I got the Pilsner and it was very refreshing and smooth. We all had dinner and everyone was happy. The food was excellent and it was brought out to our table in a timely manner. I got the Willamette Valley salad and added chicken--I got the smaller salad and it was a perfect amount for me. My mom and dad each got the pulled pork sandwich, which was also really good. My husband got the pulled pork tacos--the pulled pork was a big hit with our group. My brother got the smoked salmon burger with potato salad--he said the burger was really good but that it was slightly over cooked. His girlfriend got a chicken pesto sandwich but was super in love with the applesauce she got as a side. Overall, great product here, with some stellar offers for the customer. Due to Covid the growlers have to be steamed before filled.....it's not a problem since you let the growler cool before filling it. This did not happen here today so my favorite travel growler from out of state was cracked. The employee was fair about it and gave us new glass and redid the fill but my growler is still broke. Not saying not to come here just saying to bring glass you don't care about being broke. read more

Well unfortunately last time I visited falling sky it was underwhelming to say the least. I ordered the burger special and my girlfriend ordered the salad special as we ordered there was a pretty awkward interaction with the person helping taking our order and the cook about cucumber & the cook could have not been a bigger snob about cucumber being "pickles". But we ordered our food to go and when we got home it was the biggest disappointment to unbox my burger was cold and tasted as if it was sitting for awhile and my girlfriends salad was $14 and was half the portion size if she would of got it there. I'm not sure if the cook was having a bad night or if he just really didn't care about the food because it definitely showed. All together it was a pretty sad experience which sucks because falling sky is definitely one of our favorites in the neighborhood. Needless to say I probably won't be back for awhile. read more

Been here a couple times and will definitely be back again. They have a great beer selection which is definitely appreciated and they are happy to give you a taster if you're unsure of what to get. Staff are very nice and approachable which makes me all the happier to give them my business. I love the sunflower salad and the poutine fries are super delicious AND vegetarian. I'm pescatarian and it's not often you find a veggie gravy that's actually flavorful and delicious. The hubby got the fish and chips and loved them. This says a lot cause he's finicky about the fish-to-batter ratio and their's is on point (a lot more fish than batter if you're wondering ). We both absolutely loathe coleslaw and somehow this place managed to make a slaw that has us rethinking our life-long hate of the stuff. Hope this helps you in the decision-making process.
