    Kids wagon wheel

First time trying Main Street location, use to frequent the cesery and university locations before they closed :(. Seat yourself environment, service was quick Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive Catfish was fried nice and crispy, grits were a bit salty, biscuit was a little dry had to add some jelly. Loved the sweet tea Nephew enjoyed his wagon wheel, pancakes were his fave. Would visit again to try a different breakfast option :)

The best home cooking that I remember from all of the FA's. I used to frequent the one in Arlington and in Lakewood with my Dad on a regular basis for as long as I remember. Ernie picked me up from my cruise at Jaxport. I told him, "pull over and we can have breakfast, my treat"! I did not have to twist his arm. We had the best food and Waitress. She was young and had a unique name, that I forget, but she was good. Pros:good memories, food and service Cons:they ran out of tables. We shared our large table with some people from the Legion. We were happy to meet such a nice group of people! Recommend? H to the YES! Day or night.

Seat yourself environment. Sweet tea is delicious. Very attentive waitress. Delicious fried okra and country fried steak. Thick mashed potatoes. Good gravy and barely seasoned black eyes peas. Thick pancakes and garlic toast.

First off when we got here it was very manic I could already tell it was going to be a show, after ordering it took 35 minutes just to get the food and we didn't even get all of it it took another five minutes to get the toast. And on top of that I got the country fried steak with white gravy instead of brown gravy which puts brown gravy on a country fried steak anyway and they charged for a side of sausage gravy which wasn't a big deal but my husband got a side of two pancakes and it was seven dollars are you kidding me seven dollars for two pancakes Just ridiculous definitely won't be coming back here again they didn't even have enough syrup to get a syrup from someone else at a different table. The waitress was really really nice and I feel bad for saying this but she was kind of a birdbrain lol 2 words...HOT MESS!

Breakfast again this morning was delicious. Service was fast and food was hot. This is definitely the go to for breakfast on the Northside because it is always busy.

We pick food up from here all the time and take it home. I always get the same thing which is the turkey and dressing with extra dressing as my side. The gravy and the dressing are SO good. They actually make southern dressing (using cornbread), not that yucky stuff northerners eat called stuff (I think it's made with bread crumbs?). The turkey is good, but it is a bit too salty for me. That may just be me though because I am not a fan of salt at all. My husband has never complained about the salt once. So take what I'm saying about the salt with a grain of salt. Haha! We have had breakfast in the restaurant a few times. It's your standard breakfast I order like scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, toast. There's really nothing special about it, but it's good! I do really love their grits. They are SO much better than Waffle House and most other places I can think of that serve grits. The servers are all really friendly and fast. They make sure your drinks are refilled before they are even empty. Food comes out really fast. Nice and clean. Nothing bad I can say about this restaurant. Two thumbs up!

Left: pancakes, bacon, eggs. Right: steak and grits with eggs and toast. Orange juice.

They've all kinds of coffee drinks, boba & specialty flavored teas, wonderful savory & sweet food choices, & even veg-friendly options! (As a veg-head, I greatly appreciate this ) The food portions are larger than I thought they'd be. We got a few different things to try... Kuki Butter Latte- coffee is truly bright & flavorful. The sweet cream foam adds the perfect amount of sweetness to top off the caramel drizzle & crushed cookies in the cup. Deviled Egg waffle- now you *know* I had to add avocado to this. It wasn't exactly what I expected. I thought it was going to be more of an egg salad situation & not just sliced pieces of egg. Still flavorful. The spicy mayo isn't as spicy as I thought it was going to be as well. Definitely a "knife & fork" style of eating on this one. Grilled Cheez It, Brah waffle- cheese pull 9/10! A couple of different savory cheeses in this one perfectly pair with the crisp exterior & light sweetness of the waffle. LOVED this! Chicken Sammie waffle- (described by my hubby, as I am a vegetarian & cannot eat this) fried chicken patty is moist, the right amount of thickness, & flavorful. Mayo, pickles, lettuce, & cheddar cheese ratios make this sandwich rather delightful. All in all... great food. Amazing portions for the prices. Healthy, clean options. If you're looking for FAST... this may not be the place for you. In my opinion, no food made quickly ever tasted as good as that which took a little more time. ‍ We will definitely be coming back

This recent visit will have me happy to do a little forgetting. Food- 2/10. The only thing that was ok on this visit was my sons fries. It was clear that my chicken fried chicken and his burger were made and set aside to wait on fresh fries. The fries were perfect, hot and crisp. His burger was cold and the bun starting to go soggy. My chicken was cold, the breading was a tough yet soggy mess and the gravy had congealed to a near solid state. My carrots were cold and mush and the hashbrowns casserole was also cold. Service-2/10. The staff clearly had regulars or friends that came that they were happy to pass their workday with but that meant we were just sitting there waiting. Over 15 minutes for our drinks and another 30 minutes for food after our order was placed. Atmosphere-9/10. The stores have clearly been getting makeovers as the dinning area was entirely new and fresh. I would have really enjoyed the visit if I was basing it on the ambiance alone.
