Been here a few times - finally getting around to a review. Pizza is solid, nice selection/variety of options, staff is pretty nice. It's been kinda crowded each time, so you have to wait for a table, but thankfully it hasn't been a terrible wait. Most recently went for the Restaurant Week deal and tried the pepperoni rolls, which were pretty tasty. I have tried a few different pizzas and all have been good. Nice place for a casual meal, some drinks, and they always have sports on, if that's your thing.

Great outdoor which is dog friendly. Can't believe its at a strip mall since you forget your are there. On to the food, I got the wings which were in special and my husband got the Chicago style pizza. They are HUGE/dense , we took leftovers home and it weighed a lot! This is jot a pizza for one - he knew that but I dont think it's even for 2 people. Service was good. Will be back but not get the pizza for a while. Had it for lunch and froze extras!

Great outside patio/bar/live music on a sunny Sunday. We came for the oyster roast and stayed for the vibes. Outside patio is dog friendly and chill. Lots of seating both around the big outside bar and picnic style tables. Beer is cold and served w a smile. Will definitely be back again soon.

We were excited to try Fam's after hearing it served "real" Chicago pizza, but unfortunately, it missed the mark completely. My boyfriend lived in Chicago for 20 years and felt he could have made a better dough, sauce, and overall flavor at home. The pizza was bland, the dough tasted like thick cardboard, and it lacked everything that makes Chicago-style pizza great. The experience didn't improve with the service. Though we originally planned to take it to go, we decided to dine in so the pizza wouldn't get cold. The restaurant was empty, yet we had no waitress, had to ask for utensils, and were never offered water. Overall, it was a disappointing experience in both food and service. Would not recommend at all! Giving it a 2 to be generous!

L O V E!!!!! One of my fav pizza places on James island. The pizza never disappoints, they also have super cute patio seating.

I've been here twice now in the last two weeks and am kicking myself I haven't been here more. The outdoor patio is my favorite, it's spacious and dog friendly and there's always a seat for me at the bar. Lately I've been getting the Chokes-n-Chicken pizza and adding mushrooms and bacon. It's so good and hits the spot every time. Even with a small pie u have enough leftovers for a snack or light meal later. I've only tried two of their lagers/pilsners on hand and a small ipa (sorry I can't remember their names off hand but I'll snag them next time) that have been really good. I have no complaints with the food or beverages. The service is always quick and friendly.

I searched for breweries in between Folly Beach and West Ashley and stumbled on Fam Brewing. Located right off Folly Road in James Island. It has indoor and outdoor seating with a big wraparound bar. Got to talking to the waitress and there are multiple football games on during the season, so this might be my new spot. On Sundays they do half priced appetizers. I got the pepperoni rolls and pretzels. The pretzels were so so. It claims that it came with beer cheese, but it was more like the yellow nacho cheese that you would get at a baseball game, the pepperoni rolls on the other hand were delicious! They were wrapped in egg roll paper and deep fried. They came with four rolls and marinara dipping sauce so it was just enough for two people to share. Couldn't decide which beer to get so I tried the sour up, beach, light, business launch, and skinny vanilla latte. They were all very unique flavors, but with my like of light fruity beers, I went with a sour. Second runner-up was the Business Launch, but might've been a little too much for a couple beers..

    "Cardboard" deluxe 10" pizza

I keep giving Fam's another chance, but their pizza is consistently underwhelming. No flavor, little cheese, few toppings, and taste like cardboard.

Zack was a great server. Loved the beer and sandwiches out on the huge dog friendly patio.

This was a great find! Excellent service and food! So glad we found this little gem. The pizza was superior and the bruschetta was fresh!

This place is absolutely incredible! The daily deals are such a DEAL! Lots of tvs and banging good brew

I got the classic burger with Brussel sprouts. $5 uncharge to swap fries for Brussel sprouts seemed a little steep for a quick burger joint but the Brussels were actually really good. Not sure what they were cooked in but it added a bunch of good flavor and there were a few pieces that had a nice crust on them. The burger was delicious. The buns were perfectly toasted so each bite had a nice buttery crunch to it. I don't know what's in their special sauce but it really brings everything together.

Also, this place is huge so they were able to accommodate my friend's post-wedding party (about 20 people) at the last minute and we had a blast. We parked in a parking garage right across the street. I think it was $10 to park. This is a farm to table kind of place so the menu changes regularly and it is limited. But the food is incredible. We started with deviled eggs and some sort of oyster app. I'm not much of an oyster guy but they were very good. The deviled eggs were excellent. For my main, I got a 22 ounce ribeye. It was $135! This time around I was dining with friends, which meant we got to order a whole bunch of dishes - a foodie's dream. We started with the Hunter Cattle Beef Tartare, topped with shoestring potatoes, smoked cheddar, and egg yolk jam. It was rich, flavorful, and while the presentation looked a bit like dog food, it was otherwise the perfect way to kick off the meal. For the table, we also shared the Roasted Carrots, served with chamomile honey, labneh, puffed rice, candied peanuts, and an olive crumble. I know, carrots aren't always a "must-order," but trust me - they were fantastic. We also couldn't pass up the Hearth-Baked Skillet Cornbread with Broadbent bacon crumble mixed throughout. Southern comfort food!!! For my entree, I ordered the Blueberry & Corn Salad, which was anything but an ordinary salad. Between the BBQ pecans, ricotta salata, bacon fat honey mustard, and fresh seasonal ingredients, every bite was packed with flavor. One friend ordered the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo with compressed cantaloupe, marigold, and leche de tigre. It was bright, refreshing, and beautifully plated. Our other friend opted for the South Carolina Golden Tilefish, served with Kindlewood Farms summer squash and serrano, and it, too, was a hit. For drinks, one friend enjoyed a glass of wine while I ordered the Dragoon Punch. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed to learn my beloved Primrose Path was no longer on the menu. I even asked if they could make one, but unfortunately they were missing one of the ingredients. No worries, the Dragoon Punch was delicious and a worthy replacement. Our server, Tal H., was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, informative, and guided us through the ever-changing menu with ease. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed. Husk continues to be worth the reservation. I'd happily dine here again... and again... and ag

I saw a woman who had just finished a conversation on her cell phone walking into one part of the L-shaped facility, so I followed her. "The host" asked whether I wanted to be seated inside or outside. I told him I had no preference. Landon, who became my server, then escorted me to the attached building, carrying menus and two glasses of water. Shortly after I was seated, Landon approached and asked if I would like a drink. I ordered a Margarita. Since I already knew what I wanted for my entrée, I also ordered the French Dip with French Fries. The French Dip arrived warm, but the fries were cold. When Landon inquired about my meal, I informed him of the situation. He immediately took the fries away. After I finished the French Dip, I received the fries. I do not know whether they were the original fries that had been reheated or a fresh order. Regardless, these fries were hot. Shortly afterward, the young man who had originally asked where I wanted to sit came to my table and removed my dirty dishes. Landon then brought me my check. Due to the circumstances, I was given a discount on my bill. Anyway, I did not hear either of them ask whether I wanted dessert. Perhaps because of my complaint, they just wanted me out. Oh well-- their loss! I really wanted to tried their Sundae! Landon again apologized for the cold French fries. He provided very good service throughout my meal, so I do not fault him for the kitchen's mistake. Based on the restaurant's L-shaped design, with two separate buildings and the kitchen located in one building while some of the dining area is in the other, I realize that meals may become cooler by the time they reach the table. Therefore, I would highly recommend requesting a table in the building where the bar is located. Lastly, serving water in a plastic cup, in my opinion, gives the restaurant a rather cheap appearance. Considering the overall setting, I would expect water to be served in a proper glass.
