Heard about this place by word of mouth. With brewing equipment to my right and awesome local art to my left, I am nothing short of impressed. We hosted a party of about 25 out-of-town wedding guests here the night before our wedding and it was great! Colin helped me set up a reservation and even helped me get the right amount of food ordered ahead of time so it would be ready that night. Our server was amazing!! We had multiple guests say how great he did! We covered all the food and non alcoholic drinks for everyone. Guests had their own alcohol tabs and our server crushed it! It's hard keeping up with everyone and getting it all right but he did. He was on top of everything. The food was amazing, everyone loved it! My friends and I arrived at 7:30 and weren't able to get our food until 9 even though we ordered at 7:40 and they weren't busy. The food was brought and we had to ask for Togo boxes and check. My friend was having her ID brought to her and three servers kept interrupting us to see ids. When the id arrived and my friend drank her beer a server rushed over, demanded her id and then made a show of checking its validity. We are in our upper 20's. The salad wasn't bad but would have preferred not to slam it before my shower and bed. read more

I came here for a yelp event and it was great! The service was amazing! I had the chance to try four different pizzas and the zappole and yes it was great! buffalo blue and meat lovers are definitely worth trying even though I'm a classic cheese kind of girl. We also had the chance to try for of their beers, my boyfriend and I also added two others, which were great! I enjoyed their Irish coffee stout which is what they call "their take on a Guinness." The atmosphere is not what I would expect hidden in a strip mall next to Gold Gym. It has a cute outdoor area that I didn't have the chance to explore but I will be back. The dining area has windows into the brewery side so you can see it all. This place is definitely worth a visit if your looking for some good pizza and beer! read more

This is my go to pizza place near the house. They are always on time with delivery and I get The same thing every time. Margherita pizza. The beer is brewed well for a small brew pub, it tastes very clean and brewed well I go for IPAs. A lot of times these places can be hit or miss, but famularis is easy and consistent. read more

We live right down the street so fams is a location option , only. I wouldn't go they're if I couldn't walk there practically from my house. The pizzza is ok, they have GREAT cider and beer on tap, that seems to be their priority and selling point the beer but what good is good beer without amazing pizza right? The crust is too thick for me and the sauce is underwhelming. The pizza at paisanos is so much better. We also had an issue with our server when we went, we sat for 10 minutes before they realized (we had to tell them of course) that we were waiting to be served so that always stinks. I feel bad bringing that up because it was one persons fault not the whole restaurants but I just have to bring it up. My boyfriend got a salad that was meh and some italiandish like chicken parm I think and he was happy thus the three stars but the pizza just isn't good so that's why they only get 3 stars in my book. The restaurant is also kind of cold and out door back porch feeling if that makes sense. It's like they opened up before the interior was finished. That's all I've got for fams...you don't really wanna be a part of their fam if you can help it. Sorry guys I hate giving bad reviews but this was just too deserved. read more

So profoundly disappointed. This is our delicious go-to for pizza and calzones! placed a carry out order today that was a one item calzone on off hours (3:40pm). We were told 20 minutes at least. No problem, ran an errand came to pick up at 4:30. The order had been messed up-overcooked etc. so instead of just fixing it before we came, they had us wait another 15 minutes to redo it. If it had been overdone, wouldn't you have called or gone ahead with a replacement? But we LOVE the food so we waited. Couldn't believe we were charged for it! I mean at least give a discount or a voucher for a return visit. So so bummed as we LOVE the food here. Now we need to look for another pizza joint. I'm starting to drool just writing this review. Their pizza is so delicious. My husband loves the deep dish (which is amazing) and I am partial to their traditional style. The spinach cheese bread is also a delicious way to start your meal. We also love their beers! We very much enjoyed the atmosphere, staff and food. A great addition to the neighborhood. The new owners added window type garage doors to the wall facing the outdoor area. This gave the place a very airy and open feel. The pizza crust comes in two styles , NY and Chicago. We had the margarita on thin and it was very good. I think this location has finally found a forever home. We got the cheese curds which were great. Got the kid a slice of cheese that was perfect and cheap. I wish there was more mozzarella on my margarita pizza but it was still good. Love the local beer but I will admit that I didn't try theirs yet. We will def be returning. If I could do zero, I would - tried the Chicago style - did not like it at all. But, that was my choice, I cannot fault them for my taste. HOWEVER, I can fault them for giving me a to go pizza without cheese!! I get home, open the box, get back in my car and drive back. The hostess asks what is wrong, I open the box and she stills - what? I said, that I asked for a cheese pizza - she still doesn't get it. My waitress sees me, asks and I say the same - she takes it back to the kitchen - I go to the bar, ask for a draft - the manager comes over, asks the waitress how this could happen (in front of me), the cooks comes out - all 3 of them are discussing how this could have happened. I say, no problem- anyone one to spot me my beer while I wait - nothing. 6 minutes later, I'm leaving with my pizza- I'll try delivery, but inside staffing is just not worth it! read more

Love this place. It is more expansive than your average pizza place but you pay for what you get. They have the largest and most varied menu of an pizza place I have been too. I suggest the gluten free pizza (best one ever) and the deep dish (amazing.) They have a wonderful, dog friendly patio, clean bathrooms, and friendly wait staff. It was a little chilly when we went so we opted to dine in. We got the Chicken Ranch pizza, which was perfect, and I loved my Folly Razz beer. Yesterday was our third visit in 2 weeks -- it is that good. Last night we sat near the microbrewery tanks to watch co-owner tending to the tanks -- Famulari's brews their own. Had a terrific IPA and Stout. We've had the chokes n' chicken, molten beast, deluxe, and Fam's feta pizzas -- all terrific. Next time, we've got to try the Chicago pizza: it looks fantastic! We're fans of trying local breweries when we travel, so we stopped in to check it out. It's possible that we got extra attention because it was a Tuesday afternoon...but the bartender was awesome. We sat and talked to him for a long time. On top of the great beer samples he gave us (as well as the beer education/info), he gave us a lot of suggestions for restaurants and other breweries in the area, including the various specialties for each restaurant. Super customer & tourism focused. We'll definitely go back there, especially because they have a great Skinny Vanilla Latte beer that my wife loves. read more

Called for take out yesterday. The person who answered was very friendly and attentive. She also set my expectations on how long it would be (40 mins for the Chicago style). We got there 40mins later. Greeted at the door. Went to the bar to pick up and everyone was nice and the pizzas were ready. Almost had to stop on the way back to Folly Beach to dive into a slice as the car smelled fantastic! The Chicago style was delicious and so was the hand tossed.
