Tried the Greek stuffed pizza, which was a really awesome choice. It was like a greek salad under a blanket of chunky red sauce, all things I love. Tried out their brunch a couple weeks back. We started with an order of Beignets, which I absolutely love. Their version was made with some of their pizza dough, and was nice and pillowy and sweet. We probably could've eaten a 2nd order, but we restrained ourselves. I opted for the Caprese Crostini. Eggs + avocado + bread = my favorite thing, so I absolutely loved this dish! Adding in the mozzarella and tomato made for a delicious and well-rounded open-faced breakfast sandwich that I will definitely be back for. I opted for the home fries as my side, and boy was I glad I did! They were super crispy outside, but nice and pillowy inside, exactly what everyone loves in a home fry. They have double the number of appetizers versus their other locations, with amazing sounding dishes like fried cheese curds, zeppoles, and chicken tenders. The space was much bigger than their West Ashley location, and I absolutely loved how spacious and inviting their outdoor patio/beergarden was. Once I was introduced to the pretzel and beer cheese I never looked back. I can make a meal out of that and half a dozen spice bbq wings. Just enough heat to getcha and not too much to keep you from licking your fingers. Try them with the chocolate stout. They call it banana chocolate, but don't let that deter you. Yum!! We stopped in last night to get some pizza before we went to the festival of lights and were not disappointed! There were 5 of us and we split the 18" Margherita pizza and all had more than enough to eat. Every part of the pizza was amazing from the chunky sauce to the fresh basil topping. On top of the delicious food, they also have a great beer selection. There truly is something for everyone on the menu. We ordered the deep dish pizza for delivery last night and the crust was too burnt to eat. The crust is a big part of this pizza. I called and spoke with a manager who said when you order delivery it's difficult to get the deep dish just right. I'm not sure what that has to do with it being burnt. Pretty disappointed. Especially since it's a $33 pizza. UPDATE: The owner has since emailed me and apologized profusely, for the food and for the way this was handled. The pizza here is really really good. We get the individual slices of supreme and pepperoni instead of ordering a whole pizza which is really nice. One slice is a good portion for one person. Philly cheesesteak that we had was very very good too but I do feel like there could be a little more fixings in the middle. The beer is excellent as we had the double IP problem child. My son 23 years old, insisted I come with him to Fam's to pick up a Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza that he ordered online. He informed me that it takes at least twenty minutes to bake and therefore he called ahead. We drove from Mt. Pleasant... I know crazy, right, but he promised me it would be worth the effort. Oh my God... that thing would feed a family of fifteen!!! It was beyond massive both in width and weight. I'm not a particular lover of pizza and had visions of this monster being in my refrigerator for days... umm No.. it was eaten by him in two days. I have always had a great post up about Fam's, but today was really disappointing. I order a medium and it was so burned the crusts turned up. They offered two $5 gift cards, but it was burned. $10 doesn't make up for a $22 pizza that is inedible. I will give it another try I'm sure. read more

Went to Fam's (Famulari's) Brewing this past weekend after the festival of lights for a few cold brews and a pizza. The beer is pretty awesome that Fam's is brewing in the restaurant; but I would love to be able to get a 32oz mug instead of a pint or pitcher. I tried the Long Day IPA and Summer Sippin'; both were great. For dinner we got the fried cheese curds which were pretty dang good and the white pie. The white pie was good, but the crust could use a little help; it was too dry and floury. Service from our server and the hostess was great. Impromptu family lunch after the dog park at James Island co. Park. Perfect spot for a great Labor Day afternoon. The facility is laid out well with everything clearly labeled. It's new, modern brewery feel, tells tales of clean fresh fun. With the menu having you local fam's favorites as well as some twists and turns, it will surely make you have the meal you'd expect. It was good, not great. Maybe I'll give them another chance. Wife and I got burgers, cheese curds and I had a couple of beers. It was OK. Neither of us finished our food, which is rare. We had a fun UYE together on a Saturday night, we sat out side in the beer garden. Two picnic tables were perfect as we enjoyed Famulari's beer and food. We had a few apps, the cheese curds were good, but the bread dough app was just ok for me. I would try something else next time. Their beer list was pretty decent with many choices, but I felt the Force in one (Use the Schwarz, Luke) and it was great. They even make and brew their own beer here. The Happy Hour price made the FBC beers $1 off, so they were just $4.50. We ordered a NY style pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms, it was served perfectly hot. The crust was just right, cooked through yet foldable, and crispy. The sauce was also perfect, covered with a good amount of cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms. Our server Taylor did a great job with the 12 of us, she was friendly and engaging all night. I really enjoyed the pizza and beer, and with this was located closer to where I live. Came here with my toddler to grab a quick appetizer and we were sat outside next to the bar. Waited 10 mins and no one came to say hello or take our order. Great place for beer and food. First, my husband picked up a few growlers to go during our visit to Charleston. He loved all of his choices. I am more of a sour beer kind of girl, so I was sad that there was a limited amount of sours to choose from. The one I did have was great though! He loved the beer so much we decided to go back on our last day in Charleston and try out the food. I was happy to see that there were delicious cocktails to choose from. Fantastic find near James and Folly Beaches. The pizza was stellar as was the barrel aged beer I had. My boys had a pepperoni pizza and my wife and I shared the Chokes-N-Chicken. The Chokes pizza was loaded with premium toppings (chicken, artichoke, roasted red pepper, and pesto) in just the right quantity. The dough is on the thinner side and crispy which is exactly how I like my pizza. If you sit on the brewing side of the building you can look at all of the equipment they use to brew their beer.
