We ate here one night during Women's Week with a sizable group of people and the waitstaff did a great job of accommodating us, even letting us squeeze an extra person on the reservation. The back room hangs out over the water and when it's light outside the views are stunning, but even when it's not the menu is fantastic and diverse enough to make up for the dark windows. I ordered the steak tips, and they gave me several options for sauces. I went with the teriyaki which was fantastic but a friend got the marinade and it was also great. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The table also got some Brussel sprouts to share and they were done to crispy perfection. My friend ordered the salmon with a flavorful crust and it looked so good I had to steal a few bites. Ultimately, not a bad dish at the table. I got the sense you really can't go wrong here. Fanizzi's is quite a walk from town center through the east end, but trust me, you're going to need all the way back to work off the food stupor you will undoubtedly leave in after such a fantastic meal.

Just had a lovely lunch at the bar, the bartender was outstanding. It's a go to for my family for many years. The food is always scratch made and the view is amazing. It's a locals spot and feels like family to me.

Overall the dining experience was great even though they screwed up our reservation. They were still able to get us a beautiful table by the window so that we could see the water. I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the burrata salad and the chicken parmesan. The burrata salad was perfect and creamy with the best ratio of dressing to salad. The only thing that really threw me off was the pasta that they provided with the chicken parm. Chicken parm ALWAYS comes with linguine and I for the life of me couldn't figure out why it came with the weirdly shaped pasta and I know it isn't because they didn't have linguini because my dad had some in his dish. It really made no sense and kind of messed with the dish. Maybe they were going for a more creative twist, but this was not it. The food was good, and the scenery was gorgeous. Our food came out in good time, and we were able to get to our show early. I'm glad we came other than the few hiccups.

Right off queer o meter still a 10,000 in ptown. Excellent. Tried to get a water view, but couldn't so we opted for street side seating. It was a nice space and the AC was on - we were in need! The waiter was super nice and accommodating. After some chat with him and looking the menu over we ended up with a turkey burger and shrimp pesto over linguini. The menu itself has a a lot of apps and salads. The entree section is small but covers the basic meat cravings...ie. Steak tips, meatloaf, chicken parm, sous vide crisped chicken, scallops, cheesy version of baked cod etc.. the specials cover the rest - pork chops, pesto shrimp pasta etc. both dishes were excellent. Good portions and quality ingredients. Prices are in line with ptown and drinks reasonable at about $12-$15. Make reservations ahead if you want a seat with a view, otherwise enjoy each other and the food! Cheers!!

Our server was fabulous. He was very friendly and very attentive. The view of the beach and water is so nice. The food was amazing. The burger was fabulous. The onion rings are thin and made just the way I like them. They made a mistake on one of the burgers and the owner brought out a huge plate of onion rings and apologized. That is great customer service. I will make a point to go back, au poivre burger is sheer genius!

It's difficult to decide the best thing about this place. The water views during the daylight hours are simply stunning. But as we were there after dark, the food was also exquisite. Of course the menu is seafood heavy , as you would expect, but the non-seafood options are Italian delights. Wonderful wine, cocktail, and appetizer menu as well. The serveur was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. It was a wonderful evening of fun and food.

A favorite spot whenever we are in Provincetown. They are open even in the off season and have great views of the water. Prices are reasonable for casual fare. We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed salads and a clam roll. Server was a little abrupt and didn't offer waters (we had to ask) but was relatively efficient.

Visited Fanizzi's for their early bird specials - what a deal! For $20.99 you get soup or salad, an entree and a soda or coffee. The portions were plentiful and the food was great! We loved the atmosphere, too (hard to beat those ocean views). What we ate: -New England clam chowder and zucchini bisque (not pictured) -Pan seared salmon with chilled cucumber-dill aioli and crispy Brussels sprouts -Chicken parmigiana over Campanella pasta

Lunch reservations made for a very busy Saturday-service was amazing and we never felt rushed or that staff was overwhelmed-kind, patient and super friendly servers. Our drinks were great -we had salads, wraps and appetizers all on point.

We had Southern BLT and Old fashioned burger, we were primed for nueske bacon but the menu can be durable for more vegetal and gluten free options that are just as scrumptious. Burger was sizable and cooked perfect to medium request. Bacon was rich but crisp and the Grafton cheddar had a melty sharpness you needed. Fries were hefty with crisp and fluff interior. Awesome onion strings so crispy! Fried green tomato held up well in the sandwich and the BLT was delicious overall. Loved this dinner and was a highlight of my vacation. EXTREMELY DISTURBING EXPERIENCE WITH THE WAITER!…read more This took place around 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 4. Our group consisted of three couples dining together. At the end of the meal, we asked if the bill could be split into thirds. Our waiter, Martin P., told us that he would not split the check and instead instructed us to write down exactly what each person ordered so that he could charge us separately. Although no other restaurant we visited in Provincetown required us to do this, we followed his instructions and listed our individual items. When Martin returned, he was visibly upset and stated that our payments were approximately $70 short. There was confusion because our group was trying to determine who had already paid, who had not, and whether something had been missed in the calculations. I even asked whether we were expected to calculate individual tax amounts ourselves, as no one knew what tax would be for each separate charge. Rather than calmly helping us resolve the discrepancy, Martin began yelling at our group. At one point he stated, "If I don't get $70, I am going to charge one of the credit cards that I have." This immediately concerned us. We were not refusing to pay. We were actively trying to understand where the discrepancy occurred and make sure the restaurant received the full amount owed. To resolve the issue, one of my friends and I went with Martin into a back room to review the charges. After reviewing everything, my friend agreed to pay the remaining balance immediately. The payment was processed and the bill was fully paid. At that point I was trying to calm the situation and bring it to a close. Instead, Martin became even more agitated and began yelling profanities at us. He shouted, "Get the f*** out of my restaurant! It's people like you why we don't split checks! You all need to get the f*** out now!" Other people started noticing this go down. We were stunned. The bill had been paid. Nobody was attempting to leave without paying. We were simply trying to resolve a billing issue after following the waiter's instructions. As we were leaving, my wife later told me that Martin placed his HAND ON HER BACK and guided her toward the exit. While it was not forceful, it felt unnecessary and added to an already hostile and intimidating experience. What happened next is why I ultimately decided to write this review. A few days later, while walking through Provincetown looking for a place to have lunch, our group passed The Mayflower Food & Drink and noticed Martin working there. When he saw us, he deliberately tapped on the glass to get our attention. After making eye contact, he made a hand gesture across his neck and pointed for us to leave and keep walking. The original incident had already ended. The bill had been paid. Yet days later he still felt the need to single out our group and signal that we were unwelcome. Had this simply been confusion over a split check, I would not be writing this review. Billing mistakes happen. What I cannot overlook is being threatened with unauthorized credit card charges, being screamed at with profanity while attempting to resolve the issue, being ordered out after the bill had been paid, Martin touching my wife, and then encountering the same employee days later making a gesture directed at our group from another restaurant. This experience was troubling enough that I believe others should be aware of it.
