Best pizza in St. Louis in my opinion. I always get the Faraci Special and usually get carry out. They can get pretty busy around dinner so I recommend that if you thinking about it, you call and ask about the cook times, it could be 20 minutes sometimes it can be an hour and a half. read more

What makes this pizza stand out compared to other St. Louis style pizza is the sauce, a very sweet and rich red sauce, not very overpowering but a very nice addition to the salty taste of Canadian bacon or the slight spice you get from pepperoni. The cheese, gooey, buttery, and rich as well. Each bite is a reminder of how great St. Louis style pizza is, it's a bit on the pricier side and the menu doesn't have a variety of options but basing this review on the pizza alone, it's 5 stars all day. read more

Had my first and last Faraci pizza yesterday. I ordered a 14" two topping, with two toppings on one half and two different toppings on the other half. After a 40 minute wait (!) it was ready and I went to pay for it. The young gal said the price was $23.75. Their menu stated $18.75 for a two topping 14", plus tax. I questioned the price and she said she had not taken the order, but that's what it says on the ticket. She then said a $21-something price, I gave her $30 and she gave me change for the original $23.75. I started to question the amount but she just walked away. Since I had been waiting so long I just took the pizza box and left. If unethical and shady tactics are how they run their restaurant I will not be returning. A few dollars overcharged isn't enough to motivate me to report them to the BBB but they can keep their pizza from now on and I will keep my money. Besides, I didn't think the taste was all that much of a wow factor. IMHO, Imo's pizza tastes better and I can get a 2 topping 14" from them for under $20, tax included. read more

Driving by you might not think that this location had much to offer but you sure would be mistaken. Upon entering you are greeted by the fantastic aroma of fresh baked crust and its mouth watering, we were seated promptly and trust me it's larger inside than it looks so there is ample seating. We ordered the large special , loaded with cheese, onions, pepperoni, bacon, sausage and mushrooms and it was scrumptious, thin style crust and toppings from end to end. One of the best pizzas I have had in a long time and this will be my new go to pizza place. read more

Had a great first experience here at Faraci's! The staff was super friendly and very passionate about their pizza. One of their staff members was telling me about how the sauce recipe came directly from a Sicilian family recipe. I love how they actually changed their hours to ensure the quality of their product shines over just mass producing and taking short cuts. With the hour change, they are using that time to prep their ingredient to keep the quality high. They take the time in each step from dough, to sauce, to toppings, to produce a high quality product! What can be better than that?! I love cooking and love making things from scratch because it does make a difference. We tried the meatball pizza, hot chicken wings, and toasted ravioli. We loved the pizza because the crust was crunchy but flavorful. The sauce WAS AMAZING! Sweet and herby just the way I like it. Obviously they had to top it with Provel cheese because we are in St. Louis! What could be better?? The wings were fine but I think we like crunchier wings, these guys were more breaded like how you'd bread chicken parm, still good but not our style of wings. And the toasted ravs were fantastic partially because we got to have more of the tomato sauce on the side! Overall, highly recommend for St. Louis style pizza! Beware the place is not open all day. They have their hours posted as They close at 1:30pm and open again late in the day. I posted my disappointment in a kind way on their Facebook page and suggested they change the hours posted so people don't drive 30 miles only to find them closed. We drove 45 minutes, not that the owner cares. My comment was deleted and banned from posting any other comments. They had not yet changed the posted hours on yelp or Facebook. Good job! You lost a 10+ year customer with that nonsense. Bad business to screw your long time customers. I posted screenshots of their posted hours so the owner doesn't come back and call me a liar after he changes them to the proper times. Beginning in the first half of 2020, out of necessity we've begun ordering takeout rather than dining in far more frequently. This led to our very first encounter with Faraci Pizza, after 13 years of living in Ballwin. Although modestly sized and unassuming, this family owned restaurant reminded me of the delightful little family owned pizzerias I've found in the "auld neighborhoods" of New York and Chicago, but with a distinctly St. Louis "twist." Even from the parking lot, the food smelled really good...and it was. We called in our order, and everything was ready in about 25 minutes on a weeknight, just as promised. We ordered two pastas (spaghetti with meat sauce and penne with tomato sauce), a large cheese pizza, cheese garlic bread, house salads, and a side of extra tomato sauce. The meal came with warm sliced bread. Everything was neatly bagged in high quality to-go containers, the order was right, and the food was hot, fresh...and excellent. We took it home, and had plenty of leftovers...so the next evening we ordered a second pasta along with toasted ravioli and an order of deep fried cauliflower with a side of ranch. THANK YOU for having that cauliflower on the menu! As with our order from the previous evening, everything was truly splendid! We regret that we have no photos of the bounty we enjoyed for our midweek feast, yet our appetite was raw and our dog was excited by the aroma and his insistent begging was distracting. Each item was carefully crafted, however, and reflected high quality ingredients, considerable culinary skill, and "character" which is often more readily enjoyed than explained with regard to Italian cuisine: The pizza was a pleasing blend of a mild red sauce with the indigenous St. Louis cheese. The cheese was spread across the pie in thin slices amid a sauce that almost reminded me of something rendered from San Marzano tomatoes, and the semi-thin crust was crisp around the edges and on the very bottom, yet was a a tiny bit soft nearer the center...like a Neapolitan pizza. It was possible to fold the pizza squares in half easily for dipping into the extra sauce, just like in New York. The spaghetti and ziti were very good and were so dente, with flavorful meat and marinara sauces, respectively. The sauces were of medium consistency, mild, low acidity, and with a hint of sweetness rather than brashness...but not actually a "sweet" sauce. Somewhere between Rosebud and Lou Malnatti's, which is a good place to be. The toasted ravioli where beautifully well done without becoming tough or chewy, and each pillow contained - but was not explosively stuffed with - a smooth blend of meat filling. The marinara sauce accented it perfectly. The cheese garlic bread was nicely toasted but was not burned from a broiler, and the ample house salads were fresh and crisp with an endearing house dressing that was slightly tart but not of the sort that caused one to wince or cringe. A side of fresh grated cheese complimented it nicely, although I have no idea what that cheese was included with...I can only assume it was for the pasta. As I have already mentioned, the deep fried cauliflower was a truly welcome treat, and the side of it was battered in a crisp yet tender coating that was perfect with a side of their ranch dressing. For those who have never enjoyed this dish, think tempura vegetables...but Italian style, rather than Pan Asian. Try it! In summary, we were immensely pleased by our new find in the area. We've passed by for years, yet we were always on the way to Massa's or the Hill. We will be back to the Massa's (we've known Bill for decades), we will be back to the Hill, and now we will be back to Feracis. I'm originally from St Louis and this has always been my family's go to Pizza joint. I visited at beginning of February and the food didn't disappoint! Their Pizza & pasta are amazing! Also, I can't forget the toasted ravioli, which is always a pick, appetizer. I now live in Florida and miss the awesome Italian food St. Louis has to offer. I wouldn't trade Florida for it, but it's worth mentioning...lol! read more

Our first time here and so glad we missed our turn and ended up in here. The good is amazing. We got sausage and pepperoni pizza and roast beef sandwich. Everything was served hot and by a very friendly young man who I think was named Justin. We for sure will be coming back even thought it is a bit out of the way for us. We didn't think much of the pizza we had last night. We had the veggie pizza and the crust was hard and didn't have a flavorful taste. It was crowded though, so most folks enjoy this type of pizza that comes out on a rectangular cookie sheet. The service was good. The wine was not so good. The plain small dinner salad was fair. It does take a while for the pizza to come to the table, and the gentleman that sat us did say it was going to be an hour for a pizza. First up... there will be a wait, but it's worth it! We got a salad, garlic cheese bread, and toasted ravioli to fill the time. The salad dressing was homemade just like most things here! The tomato dipping sauce for the t tabs was so good we could eat it with a spoon. We ended up getting the garlic cheese bread to eat the rest of the sauce. Finally the pizza was a great St. Louis style provel pizza. Thin provel and the Italian sausage was great mild not spice tasting. The meat on the pizza was not greasy like it can be at some places. I had a group of 5 and we arrived at 7:30. The first thing we were told that they could seat us but it be an hour wait if you orderd pizza. I am totally fine to wait and was happy they told us. We all decided to wait. In my head I thought it is 7:30 and they close a 9pm. It won't take an hour as they want to close at 9pm. It did not take an hour more like 1/2 hour. They did not bring all the pizzas out at the same time but close. I ordered their special onions, bacon, sausage and of course provel cheese. Feraci's has some of the best cracker crust in St. Louis. It is always made fresh and it tastes like it was just made. Service was good not excellent but we did not need much. We all finished eating just in time for them to close. And no one said too much on the drive home as we were in a pizza stupor. read more

Second before we were seated they said it would be an hour if we wanted a pizza. WTF, it's Saturday evening, your gonna sell a lot of pies...trust me,I know these things so be prepared in advance. I am a big fan of St. Louis style pizza and always attempt to try a new one every time I am in St. Louis on business. That is what led me to Faraci tonight. Overall, it was a decent place with a decent pizza. The ingredients were good and the place was clean. However, when I compare it to other St. Louis style pizzas, it is not one of my favorites for a couple of reasons. These reasons are completely subjective. First, the crust was just a little too thin for my tastes. I prefer enough thickness to have two layers, a crispy bottom and a chewy center. It felt like I didn't quite get either. Second, there was a sweetness to it that I think came from the sauce. I just don't care for sweetness on my pizzas. It is one of the main reasons I don't like Imo's either. It's a decent representation of St. Louis style but I think there are better ones. Service was great. read more
