just now Waited for over 30 minutes in drive thru. Expected something special but instead got a very disappointing bacon burger. There was nothing here that set them apart from other fast food chains. Not much flavor, bacon was alright, burger very overcooked. Also ordered the fried zucchini. Omg I love this place! The food was amazing! I got the Farmer burger with zucchini and I was really impressed with the freshness of everything. The zucchini pieces were huge LOL they were cooked perfectly, they were not soggy and they still had a little bit of a crunch which I really enjoyed. I just tried this regional chain recently and there's only one location in Arizona currently. The food here is great! Fresh food, portions are great for the price, and the staff is always friendly and keeps the place nice and clean. They have drive-thru and eat in options. We've tried the bacon boy, the big cheese, the turkey melt, the chicken avocado melt, the chicken Caesar salad and they've all been good and nice portion. The sides here are also great! Crispy fries, they also offer zucchini fries and onion rings that are actually fresh and not greasy. The fruit is also a nice option. I LOVE the service here. I have eaten with them for quite some time now and the service is impeccable. I eat breakfast at least once or twice a week and the food is always fresh and hot. Everyone was friendly but the food was meh. $4.15 for a cup of fresh oj is insanity. My mom and I went this morning while my car was being worked on. I had read the negative reviews but we decided to try for ourselves. Will stick to our usual Village Inn next time. Both got the 2 hotcakes plate with eggs and bacon. I will say everything was fresh and hot but whoever does their cooking needs to be trained as several of the negative reviews are because food is either raw or burnt. We were driving around Saturday morning about 10:00 looking for a breakfast place after the one we originally went for doesn't open until 11:00, not really breakfast time. We came upon Farmer Boys and gave them a try, since my wife was getting hangry. She ordered the French toast platter with her eggs fried medium, it was perfect on all aspects. This put a very sour taste in my mouth after waiting for 20 minutes. I'm sure they were rushing because they have been extremely busy but I feel like that's almost not an excuse when I could have gotten sick. The chicken looked done and delicious on the outside. Just tried this place on their grand opening day! Let me tell you, this restaurant is TOP NOTCH in quality of food, presentation, price and customer service! I enjoyed the 1/3Lb avocado bacon burger, just so fresh, juicy and tasty! Also had the Cobb salad! Very generous serving for about $8. And the Bleu cheese dressing had huge chunks of Bleu cheese! The prices are family friendly and the service, extremely attentive, courteous and eager to please. You order at the counter, they give you a number and then deliver your food! Very Spaced out tables, staff all masked and customers required to wear masks to enter & order. And they serve breakfast ALL day, and those prices are very family friendly too. Overall, 10 out of 10 and in my humble opinion, the BEST burger I've had since Wimpy's Paradise! It's ok to go in with high expectations, you won't be disappointed! read more
